T o all whom it may concern;

Be it known that I, PERGY EPHRAIM PAGE, a citizen of the United States, and a resident of Asheville, in the county of Bunconibe and State of North Carolina, have invented a new and Improved Powder-Puff, of which the following is a full, clear, and exact description.

The invention relates to toilet, and its object is to providea new andimproved powder pu which is simple and durable, very compact in construction and arranged to permit of convenient application or storing in a small receptacle to retain the puff and thepowder therein in good condition for a long time, and to allow of conveniently carrying the rece tacle and puff therein around in a pocket, and bag or other carrier.

The invention consists of novel features and parts and combinations ofthe saine as will be more fully described hereinafter and then pointed out in the claim.

A practical embodiment of the invention is found in the accompanying drawings in which similar characters of reference indicate corresponding parts in all the figures.

Figure 1 is a sectional side elevation of t-lie improvement and showing the puff, contained in the box; Fig. 2 is a perspective view of the box with the cover removed and the puff in position for removal from the box; and Fig. 3 is a side elevation of the improvement with the empty pufi" bag open for the reception of the powder.

The powder puH described fits into a box D of metal or other material and having a removable cover D which, when the powder puff is in position in the box, holds the liandle A4 flat down on the top ofthe bag A (see Fig. 1) and hence the box D need not be larger than the bag A that is, the bag is held very compactly in the small box, and the box D and puff therein take up very little room. By storing the powder puff (when not in actual use) within the box, the powder is not liable to gradually deteriorate by evaporation and other influences, and the powder puff can be held in a clean condition for a ong time.
