IIMPROVED DITCHER The Schedule referred to in these Letters Patent and making part of the same.

. To all whom 'lt may concern:

Beit known that I, WYooFF ROBBINs, of Hancock county, in the State of Illinois, have invented certain l new and useful Improvements in Ditchers or Scrapers; and I do hereby declare that the following is a full and exact description thereoreference being had to the accompanying drawings, making part of this specification, in which- Figure 1' is a top view of my improved ditcher.

Figure 2 is a rear view of same.

Figure 3 is a front view.

The nature of my invention consists in providing a rapid means of making roads, ditches, hedge-rows, and throwing dirt up to plank fences.

To enable others skilledin the art to make and use my invention, I will proceed to describe its construction and operation. p

I construct a wooden frame, A A, sbod with platesteel on the bottom, to prevent wear, hinged at ff.

Ou one wing of the frame is attached a ange, C, of steel, and on the other wing is attached a steel flange, B. v l

The point oftheditcher is covered with plate-steel, running far enough back on the side of the hinge ff A A, by a. chain or anything else suitable, passing through Ii, and fastening with a clevis and pin at l.

What I claim as my invention, and desire to secure by `Letters Patent, is-

1. The frame A A, when constructed with flanges B and C, and secured by a hinge, f j, all operating substantially asvand for the purpose set forth.

2. Also, the combination of the frame A-A, anges i B C, connecting-bars D D, hinge f f, clevis-holes l Z,

bitching-holes t' t', when the same are` constructed and arranged substantially as and for the purpose described.
