State of Missouri, have invented a new and Improved StrcetSweeper, of which the following is a full, clear, and exact description.
The invention-ibas in view the dproductionof a street sweeper carriedby an formino' a part of a motor, vehicle, referably of the autoinobile-'type,.and in w ich the sweeping mechanisin is driven from .the .vehicle motor.l
In the operation ofthe sweeper, the sweep- A ings are collected and delivered into the vehicle body, the latter being shiftable. on the ruiming gear of the machine to carry it to and from a dumping position'. 4 Provision is iliade for the sprinkling of the streetb the sweeper in advance of the brush, where y the dust is allnyed, and for'the .elevation of the. brush and connecting mechanism upon lthe vehicle vbody when itis tobe thrown out of action.
