Letters G and H are openings in the hase-board ofthe i'rnlne, and

Letters I and K arev openings in the ends ofthe box F.

The letter L, on the sliding bar D, is :t pin that moves in a sloton the lower side of hopper A ,'nnd operates as a. stop to prevent saidbar trorn passing beyond the point desired. This stop is effected when the pin Ljis crowded against the extreme end of said s'lot, at the point M. i

The letter O is nl fork, composed of four tines usually, so adjusted and arranged as to leave suiieientsp-.ree i hetwen them to hold n. single cherry securely.

Letter B is n. rod extending frolnthe fork O to the movable block Q, with both of which it is connected. Letter Ris a. rod extending from the block Q to the sliding bar D, and uniting the same.

Letter S is a spring adjusted in the manner shown', the oihc'e oi' which is 'to'retnrn the block Q andy its' attachments to their proper places after the same have been push'ed'forward.

My device is operated as't'ollows, namely: I fill the lhopper with cherries, and force the block Qftorvvnwi until the pin L rests against the shoulder M of the hopper-slot. The spring S then aids me to retu'vn'the Block as'above mentioned. .This movement is all that is required, for the beam D und fork 0 nre carried forward at the same time,'a.nd as the opening C retich-es the opening E, the cherries fall through them into the ybox F, where thejztre caught by the fork and carried to the opening K, in which the stone is forced outward through opening H. AThe pulp of the cherry remains in the fork, nndis released` therefrom by the shoulders f open-ing I, tind passes downward through opening G. l y
