Know all men'that we, ALVAH L. SAWYER, and WiLSON BALDWIN, of Detroit,rii the county of' Wayne, and State of Michigan, have invented a.v new and useful Improvement in Spring-Bed Bottoms; and we do declare that lthe following is a true and accurate description thereo'reference being had to the accompanying drawings, unil-tothe letters of reference marked thereon, and being c part of' this speciication.

compact, elastic, andeconomical bed-bottom.

What we claim es our invention, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-s 'The combination of the transverse bars A A and F F, the longitudinal bars BB and .E E, with the f ulcrumblocks C C C C, the crmched transverse spring D,land `the slats'-H H H, itc., when constructed, arranged, and operating substantially as herein set forth and shown.
