v Beit known that l', SHILOH W. DURHAM, of' Ipava, in the count)r of Fulton, and State ofllllinois, have invented a new and improved Buckle or Fastener for Straps, Snc.; and I do hereby declare thatvthe'fiollowing is n. full, clear, and exact description thereof, which will enable others skilled in theart to make and use the saine, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part of this specication.
The present invention relates to :1n improved fastener or buckle for securing andr fastening the end of a, strap when turned over at its end upon itself for forming a loop, the construction of which, according to this inrention, Vwill be now described, reference being had to the accompanying plete of drawings, in which- Figure 1 is a side or face View of a strnp with it applied, and

'lhe strap-fastener, constructed as described, consisting of the plate B, having, upon one of its sides, thc loops C D, the lutter hoaringtho tongue E, whose innerAencl fits within the strap between the loops C D, as herein shown :1nd described.
