Be it known that I, CLARENCE G. J ENKnvs, a' citizen of the United States, residing at Brooklyn, in the county of Kings and State of New.
York, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Disinfectant-Blocks and I do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same,
This invention relates to disinfectantblocks; and it consists, essentially, of any suitable disinfectant compound molded into blocks or cakes and provided with suitable grooves in its under surface to permit the free passage of water.
The principal object 'ofthe invention is to provide a convenient form of block or cake of the character mentioned, to be placed in a urinal basin directly over the water outlet, which will permit the water to pass freely V indicates a block of any suitable disinfectant vide for the free passage of the water when forming part of Iietters Iiatent No. 739,317, dated September 22, 1903.

, Having thus fully described my invention, what I claim, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
1. As an article of manufacture, a block or cake of disinfectant materiahhaving its bot- 1 tom or undersurface provided with one or more water-passages. Y
2. As an 'article of manufacture, for disinfecting urinal and other basins, a block or cake of disinfectant material having its bottom or under side provided with crossed water-passages for the flow of water beneath the I block.
3. As an article of manufacture, a block or cake of disinfectant material, having its bottom or under side provided with water-passages crossing each other at right angles, and
