TO ALL WHOM IT MAY C ONCERN Be it .known that 1, Ennnsr KAUFMANN, of No. 24.8 North Eighth street, Philadelphie, in the county of Philadelpliia,'in the State et Pennsylvania, have invented a new and improved Table-Urn; and Iilo hereby declaro that the following is a full, clear, and exact description thereof, which will enable those skilled 'in the art to make and use thc some, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming partof this specification, in which drawing-- v Figure 1 represents a vertical cent-ral section of this invention.

This invention relates to an u rn in which different beverages, such as coil`ee,'tea, or chocolate, can be prepared simultaneously, er in which coii'ee, tea, milk, and other liquids can be heated simultaneously, each liquid being kept in a separate chamber, provided with a faucet, so that the same can be drawn oil` its required.

The urn rests upon a stand, provided with a socket or platform to support a lump, and Ait is so arranged that it con be freely revolved on said stand, and that that part of the urn from which the liqn'id is to be drawn can be readily brought opposite the person who intends to draw the liquid, without the necessity of. turning thc whole device, stand and all.

The interior of the urn is divii il into two or more chambers, cach being provided with a. separate faucet, so that differentl liciuids, such as mill: and coffee, can he heated simultaneously, and eachV liquid can be drawn o' as the same may be required.

A represents an urn made oi' metal, porcelain, or any other suitable material,.in a cylindrical or any other desirable form er shape. This urn rests upon a stand, l, and it is provided with an annular lip, a, which prgjeets under two or moro cars which :ire fastened to und extend from the top edge of' the stand, as clearly shown in the drawing.

By these means the urn can be readily turned on its stand in either direction, so that when the same is placed on a table, the faucet which serves to draw oii' the contents of said urn can he readily brought opposite the person desiring to draw 01T the contents, without the necessity of' tui-ning the stand together with the urn. If desired, the friction between the stand and the urn may be reduced by interposng friction-rollers or casters.

Bythis arrangement a table-urn is obtained which is very convenient, particularlyin large families or hotels, where the urn necessarily must be large and heavy, and the operation of turning the same,'togethcr with its stand, on the table-cloth would bc attended with some dilicuty. It must be remarked that the arrangement of parts necessary 'cr turningthc urn independent et' its stand might be changed. It might be made to turn on a central pivot, although in this case the operation et' applying:r heat from below would he impeded, or the urn might be suspended from an arm above, and made to turn on a ring; but neithel` of thcsearingements' would be quite as desirable as the arrangement shown in the drawings. In order to increasethc heating surface of the urn, it may be provided with one or more vertical ilucs, or a central flue may be npplicu, which serves as thc chimney to carry off from the lampvthepr'cducts of combus-v tion and to increase the draught. What I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-

1. A table-urn which can be revolved on its stand, and is provided with two or more compartments or chambers c and faucets E. substantially as and for the purpose set forth. y
