Be itfknown that I, R. CARLTON OVERTON, of the city, county, and Stateof New York, have invented an Improvement in Lamp- Tubes, and I hereby declare that the following is a full and exactdescription 'of said improvement. I 4 l The nature of my invention consists yin making the tube or tubes .A A as shown in t-he drawing annexed, which containv the wicks of the` lamp, which tubes may be either round, square or Hat or other convenient form, to work or move insideofl the outer tubes B B, which are secured to the top of the lamp or tube holder C. The tubes A A and the wicks of the lamp -are'raised or depressed at pleasure, by means of small.
