My invention relates to improvements in hed-Slat holders; and the object of my invention is the provision of a device of this character which will he of extremely simple, durable, and inexpensive construction, which Will properly support the slat under all circumstances, which can he readily applied, and which is thoroughly practical and useful.
To attain the desired object, the invention consists of a hed-Slat holder embodying novel features of construction, substantially as the description herein.
Figure 1 represents a perspective View of a portion of a hed-frame With my invention ap* plied, and Fig. 2 represents a perspective view of the Slat-holder detached.
My device is made from a single piece of material and preferably of Wire bent to form the eyes or loops A to receive the fastenings for attaching the device, the baileshaped portion B to receive and support the slats, and the inward-extending angle portions C, having their ends bent to form coils I), which terminate in the upward-extending pointed ends E, the upper ends of Which are to bite into the under side of the slat and prevent same from slipping. From this construction it will he seen that I provide a slatfholder of extremely simple and inexpensive construction which can be readily applied to the hedframe and which Will hold the slats under all circumstances perfectly, thus rendering the device thoroughly practical and efficient.
I claim- A Slat-holder made from a single piece of Wire and consisting of the supporting loop or hail, the vertical arms resting against the side rail of the bed and formed with an eye to re ceive the securing means and the terminals bent around the hail or loop to brace and support said bail.
