NITED STATES JOHN W. WOODRING, OF GREENSBURG, KENTUCKY.
IMPROVED LINIMENT.
Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 52,778, dated February 20, 1866.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, JOHN W. WOODRING, of Greensburg, in the county of Green and State of Kentucky, have in vented a new and valuable Medicine which Icall Compound Stimulating Linirnent; and I do hereby declare that the. following is afull and exact description thereof.
I take spirits of turpentine, one-half ounce; oil Worm-seed, one-half ounce; oil spike, onehalf ounce; oil olivae, one-half ounce; tincture opii, one half ounce; castile soap, one -half ounce; gum-camphor, one-half ounce; tincture capsici, one-half ounce; alcohol, one pint, and mix all together and apply the mixture externally for all kinds of wounds, bruises, sprains,
