WASHING-ROLLER.
Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 49,359, dated August 15, 1865.
To all whom it may concern: y
Be it known that I, JAMES E. ATWooD, of Lynn, in the county of VEssex and State of Massachusetts, have made a new and useful Improvement in Hand WashingRollers; and I do hereby declare the following to he a full, clear, and exact description ofthe nature, construction, and operation ot' the saine, reference being had to the accompanying drawing', which is made part of this specification, and in which my improvement is represented in perspective.-
My improvement consists of a rubbing or pressure roller in a suitable frame, a handle to Yhe grasped by the operator, and a ring of leather or soft material to encircle the arm, to add to the comfort and eitectiveuess in nianipulaling the instrument. y
To enable one skilled in the art to which :ny invention is allied to construct and use-the same,` I will proceed to describe it.
