3 Claims, 4 Drawing Figures MIST-OXYGEN THERAPY CRIBLINER TENT CROSS REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATION This application is a continuation of application Ser. No. 370,710, filed June 18, 1973, now abandoned.
DESCRIPTION This invention relates to a cribliner tent, and has for an object thereof the provision of a cribliner tent.
Another object of the invention is to provide a onepiece mist-oxygen cribliner adapted to form an inverted tent.
Another object of the invention is to provide a cribliner tent adapted to be used as either an open top or a partially closed top tent. I
In the drawings:
FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a crib with a cribliner tent thereon forming one embodiment of the invention; FIG. 2 is a top plan view of the cribliner tent of FIG.
FIG. 3 is an enlarged, fragmentary, vertical sectional view taken along line 33 of FIG. 1; and
FIG. 4 is an enlarged, fragmentary, horizontal sectional view taken along line 4-4 of FIG. 1.
Referring now in detail to the drawings, there is shown therein a mist-oxygen therapy cribliner tent 9 forming one embodiment of the invention and positioned on a crib 11. The tent is a one-piece sheet of transparent plastic material, such as, for example, polyethylene, and the liner includes a bottom panel 10 placed between a mattress 12 of the crib and the springs 15 of the crib, end panels 14 and 16 which line the insides of headboard 18 and the tailboard 20 of the crib, a back side panel 22 lining the inside of the crib sideboard 24 and a front side panel 26 lining raisable and lowerable sideboard 28. Each of the panels has a top flap 30 which passes over top rail 32 and back down the upper portion of the adjacent board, and a double-faced adhesive patch 34 then fastens the flap to the panel to define a loop 36 securing the panel to the board. The side panels have end flaps 38 which are woven into uprights 40 of the head and foot boards, the end flaps passing, for example, outside the next to the edge upright and then passing inside the next more inwardly positioned upright. Imaginary fold lines 51 to 60 (FIG. 2) are shown to illustrate where the panels are folded.
The tent 9 forms an airtight inverted tent, and is easily installed and removed. The liner permits the front board to be moved between its extreme lowered position and its normal, raised position without any attention required to the liner. The tent 9 also may be placed over a conventional therapy tent frame positioned over a patients bed with the ends and sides of the tent hang- 5 ing down from the tent frame over the headboard and to the sides of the bed with an opening cut out of the bottom (top, in this position) of the tent, the adhesive patches being pressed against the mattress or frame of the bed. Also, two of the tents may be used to cover the headboard and the mattress of a bed for patient treatment where theremight be stains.
What is claimed is:
1. In combination with a crib having a mattress, a support for the mattress and frame means including a headboard, a footboard, a rear sideboard and a front sideboard,
the headboard and the footboard having spaced uprights, and a cribliner tent of integral, transparent material including a bottom panel positioned under the mattress and side panels and end panels each integral with the bottom panel and fastened to the upper end portions of the boards,
each side and end panel including a top flap folded back on the panel to form a sleeve portion extending around a top rail of the adjacent board,
the tent including fastening means securing the corner portions of the top flaps to adjacent portions of the panels,
the side panels including elongated side extensions woven into uprights of the headboard and the footboard and overlapping the end panels to form sealed corners.
2. A cribliner tent comprising an integral flat sheet of highly flexible transparent plastic material including:
a fiat, rectangular, horizontal bottom panel,
a pair of flexible vertical end panels,
and a pair of flexible vertical side panels.
each of the panels extending upwardly from the bottom panel,
each panel including fastening portions at the top end portion thereof,
the side panels including side flaps adapted to overlap the end panels and be woven, over and under, uprights of a crib to form sealed corners and be retained in sealing positions by the uprights,
3. The cribliner of claim 2 including a plurality of double-faced adhesive patches secured to the corner portions of upper ends of the panels. 50 l l =l

Claims (3)
