1 Claim, 3 Drawing Figures PATENTEU NM 2 0 I975 INVENTOR ALTA M ANGEL BY KENNETH e. ANGEL PAPER COVERALLS' WITH "STITCHE'D-IN' FEET COVERS BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to paper coveralls and more particularly to paper coveralls with stitched-in feet covers.
According to the invention, paper coveralls are provided for wear in industrial clean rooms having stitched-in feet covers. The prior art coverall feet covers are separate and require a binding process with elastic, etc. This is not only time consuming but is wasteful of material as well.
An object of the present invention is the provision of improved paper coveralls.
Another object of the invention is the provision of paper coveralls with stitched-in feet covers.
A further object of the invention is the provision of paper coveralls utilizing a minimum of material.
Other objects and many of the attendant advantages of this invention will be readily appreciated as the same becomes better understood by reference to the following detailed description when considered in connection with the accompanying drawings in which like reference numerals designate like parts throughout the FIGS. thereof and wherein:
FIG. 1 is a perspective view of the preferred embodiment of the present invention being worn;
FIG. 2 illustrates a section of the foot and lower leg portion of .the embodiment of FIG 1; and
FIG. 3 illustrates the remainder of the foot pattern for utilization with the pattern of FIG. 2.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWING Referring to FIG. 1, a pair of paper coveralls are shown being worn generally at 11 having a front zipper 12 and foot portions 13 and 14. Seams 16, 17, 18 and 19 are also shown.
Referring to FIG. 2, the pattern for the foot portion and lower leg portion is shown at 21. Identification points are illustrated at A, B, C, D, E and F. The back of the leg is at point 22.
Referring to FIG. 3, the remainder of pattern of FIG. 2 is shown generally at 23 with identification points A, B, C, D, E and F.
Referring now to FIGS. 2 and 3 together, the like letters, e.g., AA, BB, CC, EE, DD and FF are joined when forming the final product. By separating the section illustrated in FIG. 3, a minimum of material is utilized than an alternative of constructing the patem of one continguous piece of material. Hence, a pair of paper coveralls has been disclosed which have built-in foot covers as opposed to the prior art method of attaching foot covers to the leg portion of the coveralls with elastic bands.
It should be understood, of course, that the foregoing disclosure relates to only a preferred embodiment of the invention and that it is intended to cover all changes and modifications of the example of the invention herein chosen for the purposes of the disclosure which do not constitute departures from the spirit and scope of the invention.
We claim:
1. A paper coverall leg and foot pattern comprising:
a leg portion terminating on one side at the bottom of a foot portion and terminating on another side in a recessed cut-out defining the outline of a foot; and
a second portion dimensioned for cooperating with the outline of the foot in the first portion and cut in the general shape of a foot.
Claims (1)
1. A paper coverall leg and foot pattern comprising: A LEG PORTION TERMINATING ON ONE SIDE AT THE BOTTOM OF A FOOT PORTION AND TERMINATING ON ANOTHER SIDE IN A RECESSED CUT-OUT DEFINING THE OUTLINE OF A FOOT; AND A SECOND PORTION DIMENSIONED FOR COOPERATING WITH THE OUTLINE OF THE FOOT IN THE FIRST PORTION AND CUT IN THE GENERAL SHAPE OF A FOOT.
