It is therefore the main purpose of this invention to provide a diaper washing board which may be conveniently positioned with a toilet seat.
Another object of this invention is to provide a diaper washing board which eliminates the need of manually washing the diapers under unsanitary conditions.
Another object of this invention is to provide a diaper washing board having a corrugated surface thereon for more effective performance of the board.
Still another object of this invention is to provide a diaper washing board which is of rigid construction, is inexpensive to manufacture and provides maximum utility to its user.
Other objects and advantages of this invention will become apparent from a consideration of the following detailed description taken in connection with the accompanying drawing wherein a satisfactory embodiment of the invention is shown. However, it is to be understood that the invention is not limited to the details disclosed but includes all such variations and modifications as fall within the spirit of the invention and the scope of the appended claim.
In the drawing:
FIGURE 1 is a side view of this invention.
FIGURE 2 is a view taken along the lines 2-2 of FIGURE 1.
FIGURE 3 is a view taken along the lines 3-3 of FIGURE 2.
According to this invention, a diaper washing board 10 is provided with a clamp member 11 which is pivotally secured to the prongs 12 of Washing board 14. Clamp 11 is adapted to be removably secured on the outer portion 19 of the toilet seat 16. A U-shaped rod 17 is secured to the bottom portions of clamp 11. A ring 13 is provided for each prong 12 for securing clamp 11 to board 14. Top portion of board 14 is provided with a corrugated surface 15. The contour of board 14 is of such a configuration that it is possible to fit said board within the toilet seat as shown in FIGURE 1 of the drawmg.
It will also be noted that board 14 may be easily removed from said seat by means of lifting clamp 11 to an upward direction.
What I now claim is:
A diaper washing board comprising a clamp member having a U-shaped attachment secured thereto, a washing board having at least one outwardly extending prong, a ring secured to said prong, said U-shaped attachment being pivotally secured to said ring, said clamp being adapted to be removably secured to an edge of a toilet seat bowl, thus providing holding means for said board, the main portion of said board being provided with a corrugated surface upon the upper side thereof for washing diapers thereupon, the contour of said board being adapted to fit within a toilet bowl, said washing board having a longitudinal cross-sectional configuration of arcuate character to conform to a concave inner surface of said toilet bowl, said upper side of said washing board having said corrugations being accordingly concave, the outer portion of said clamp being provided with at least one hook for removably securing said clamp to the upper edge of said toilet seat bowl, and said corrugated surface comprising a plurality of laterally disposed indentations.
