To all whom t may concern Be it known that I, IVILLIAM H. ELSE- GOOD, of the city of Philadelphia and State of Pennsylvania, have invented new and useful Improvements in the Art of Manufacturing Boots and Shoes, called Spring Boots Vand Shoes, and I do hereby declare that the following is a full and exact descriptionot the same.

In making the spring boot it Will be necessary to observe the following rules: The bootA or shoe is made over a last similar to those used in the making ordinary kind of boots and shoes With the exception of its being more o-val on the bottom and par- I then put on the last the insole and rub the grain orf the leather.
