ADJUSTABLE CURTAlN-FIXTURE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Letters Patent No. 299,143-, dated May 27, .1884, Application iiled March 13, 1884. (No model.)
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, GHARLEs F. HINEY, a citizen of the United States, residing at Pottsville, in the county of Schuylkill and State of Pennsylvania, have invented a new and useful Improvement in Adjustable Curtain-Fixtures, of which the following is a specification.
My invention relates to curtains in which the roller ends rest in brackets. My object is to provide a means of securing the brackets in any desired position to suit curtains of varying widths, and I attain my object by the use of the device shown in the accompanying drawings, in whichy.
Figure l is a view of my invention, showing a bracket in position; and Fig. 2 is a section of the same through the line X X.
B is a metal plate7 intended to be secured to a window frame by the screws S S, and has a portion, B', inclosed, through which slides A, one end of which, A', forms a bracketholder, having the slot H,in which the bracket lits.
C is a set-screw to fasten the slide A in position.
The slot in the bracket-holder A may be made of any size or shape desired to suit different styles of brackets.
With my device that is all avoided, and any adjustment can be made quickly and easily.
Vhat I claim is-n In the Within-described adjustable curtainxture for holding brackets for curtain-rollers, the combination ofthe stationary plate B, having inclosed portion B and screws S S, the slide A,having attached the bracket-holder A', containing slot H,adapted to hold the bracket, and the set-screw C, as and for the purpose set forth.
