TRANSPARENT BLOWER FOR FIRE-PLACES.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Letters Patent No. 280,154, dated June 26, 1883.

In the drawings, A represents a blower, made of glass or some transparent material, and which may be placed in a suitable frame. The blower rests against the rear surface of the side posts of the mantel, and is held across the upper part of the fire-place opening, while its lower edge is sustained in hook-clips B, fastened to.
the wall or the uprights of the mantel, and its upper edge in a stud or clip, 0, fastened in the fire-place wall. By these means the blower is always held to the fire-place loosely, so that it can readily contract and expand without danger of fracture.
What I claim as new and of my invention 1s- The combination, with a grate fire-place, of the clips B 0, adapted to support a blower, as shown and described.
