BAlLED HOLLOW WARE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Letters Patent No. 273,119, dated February 27, 1883.
Application filed August 2, 1882. (No model.)
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, DONALD M. MCLEAN, of Boston, in the county of Suffolk and State of Massachusetts, have invented a new and useful Improvement in Hollow Ware, of which the following is a specification.
My said invention relates to any article of hollow ware on which is used the double bail described in Letters Patent No. 162,847, issued tion.

The full advantage of the double bail in emptying the article to which it is attached is only secured by tilting said article toward the point 00 or 00; but then the said ends and the ears to which they are attached obstruct the flow of the fluid and soatterit into broken streams. This difficulty is removed by shaping the rim between the ends a a or a a into the nose N, by means of which the contents can be emptied with precision, as well as with safety and convenience.
I claim as my invention in articles of hollow ware- The nose N,'in combination with the said double bail and ends aa a a thereof, in the manner described.
