A still further object of the invention is to provis Wedsins rein cement tor the eentt l re tion of the front wall to brace the same frorndisr tertien ue is int rnal pr ssu e 1. the meld- Another obieet of the invention is to provide a mold of this character of simple and practical which is simi ar and ab e! e and re iable in operatica vel ine pens to manufactu e nd e wise w adapted fer he purposes i r e is llll fil ififir @ther elei ets and advanta es de ti details of construction and operation as more fully hereinafter described and claimed, reference being bad to the accompanying drawings forming part hereof, wherein like numerals refer to like parts throughout, and in which:
Figure 1 is a view showing the top of the mold in 'open position;
Figure 2 is a transverse sectional view showing the top in closed position;
Figure'3 is a top plan view showing the front wall removed and with the top and end walls in open position;

Figure 5 is a view of the supporting table for the mold, and
Figure 6 is a view showing the bottom of the mold.
Referring now to the drawings in detail, Wherein for the purpose of illustration I have disclosed a preferred embodiment of the invention, the numeral 5 designates a table which forms a support for the mold and on the top of which are suitably secure-d a plurality of cleats and including a pair of wtedge shaped end cleats 6 and an intermediate clea l.
The mold designated generally at {3 includes a -..-.-,.merel le b ttom. 5 having a r 91 wea shaped cleats it} on its underside haying en e eases m rein th n ned inner d es 91 clea 6.-

The front wall l5 and block 20 are locked in position by one or more locking pins 22 inserted in aligned openings 23, 2t and 25 respectively in blocks 19, 29 and front wall 5. The outer end of locking pin 22 is bent angularly to form a handle 26 which slides in a notch 21 in a block 28 suitably secured on top of table 5 in front of block IS.
A top 29 for the mold is suitably secured to a handle 38 which is pivoted to the upper ends of posts I! for swinging in a raising and lowering movement on top of the mold.
The inner surfaces of rear wall [2, front wall I5, one of the side walls l3, and the upper surface of bottom 9 may be provided with ribs 3| arranged to simulate the mortar lines of bricks of a brick column constructed of the blocks formed in the mold.
In the operation of the device, the bottom 9 is held stationary on table or other suitable supporting structure by cleats 6 and ill which properly position bottom 9 to align the ribs forming the mortar joints.
The side walls l3 of the mold are held in a closed position by the interlocking engagement of notches l5 and 16 of the side and front walls, and which is tightened by the wedges IT and I8. After the cement or other material is placed in the mold the top 29 is lowered to compress or pack the cement therein.
The reinforcing blocks [9 and 20 hold the front wall I5 from distortion due to internal pressure in the mold, and pins 22 lock the block 20 and front wall l5 firmly in position. The pins are locked by swinging handle 26 downwardly between blocks I9 and 28.
The mold is opened after setting of the cement by removing pins 22, removing wedges I 8 and 20, sliding front wall l5 forwardly and then removing same whereupon side walls l3'may swing outwardly and then sliding bottom 9 forwardly away from rear wall [2 and lifting bottom 9 from the table with the block thereon and which remains on the bottom until hardened. The cleat 1 supports the center of bottom 9 from sagging when resting on the table.
In view of the foregoing description taken in conjunction with the accompanying drawings it is believed that a clear understanding of the device will be quite apparent to those skilled in this art. A more detailed description is accordingly deemed unnecessary.
It is to be understood, however, that even though there is herein shown and described a preferred embodiment of the invention the same is susceptible to certain changes fully comprebended by the spirit of the invention as herein described and the scope of the appended claims.
Having described the invention, what is claimed as new is:
1. A mold of the class described including front, rear and side walls and a removable bottom, a support for the mold, and wedge shaped cleats on the support and having interfitting engagement with wedge shaped cleats on the bottom to anchor the mold to the support. 2. A mold of the class described including front, rear and side walls and a removable bottom, a support holding the rear wall in a fixed upstanding position, said side walls being swingably connected to the rear wall and said front wall and said bottom being removably positioned on the support, means locking the front wall to the front ends of the side walls, at least one of said walls and said bottom having mortar joint simulating ribs on their inner surfaces, and interengaging means carried by the support and the bottom aligning the ribs of the bottom with the ribs of the wall.
3. A mold of the class described including front,
rear and side walls and a removable bottom, a support holding the rear wall in a fixed upstanding position, said side walls being swingably connected to the rear wall and said front wall and said bottom being removably positioned on the support, means locking the front wall to the front ends of the side walls, at least one of said walls and said bottom having mortar joint simulating ribs on their inner surfaces, and interengaging means carried by the support and the bottom aligning the ribs of the bottom with the ribs of the wall by a predetermined sliding movement of the bottom on the support.
4. A mold comprising a rear wall, side walls swingably connected to said rear wall, a front wall positioned at the free ends of the side walls, a bottom, said side walls being swingable over said bottom, said front wall engaging said side walls and said bottom to selectively prevent the swinging of the side Walls, a support for said mold and wedge shaped cleats on said support interengaging wedge shaped cleats on said bottom to lock the mold on the support.
