Aiurther object of the inventionis toprovide an inhaler which,by virtue of itssimplifled'construction, is readily-adaptedfor-carrying on-the person of the user, thereby being available at any time and as often as required,
Another object of the-invention is to provide an inhaler which may-be readily disassembled for purposes of cleaning, inspection, repair, or refilling with the medication employed. therein.
An additional object of theinvention is to provide an inhaler which is lightin weight, pleasing in appearance, and which willnot easilyi-become damaged.
.A still further object .of. theinvention is: to-pro vide an inhaler which will readily lend itself to economical manufacture.
With the above more important objects in View and such other objects as may become apparent as this specification proceeds, the invention consists essentially of the construction and arrangement of parts as shown in the accompanying drawings in which:

Figure 3 is a top plan View of the invention,
Figure 4 is a side elevation of the removable cover used in the invention and showing the same partially broken away to reveal its construction,

Figure 6 is a cross-sectional view, taken substantially in the plane of the line 6-6 in Figure 1.
Like characters of reference are used to designate like parts in the specification and throughout the several views.
Referring nOW to the accompanying drawings in detail, the invention consists of an inhaler designated generally by the reference character ID, the same embodying in its construction a vertically disposed, substantially cylindrica1 casing ll, having a closed bottom I2 and being 2 opened rat its upper rend, which is internally threadedaslat i3.

Atomizing means designated generally by the reference character 24 are provided in the receptacle l8, the same consisting of an air tube 25 and a liquid tube 26 which are secured in position by means of suitable ribs 27 extending diametrically of the receptacle l8.
It will be noted that the air tube 25 extends,
upwardly from the bottom end IQ of the receptacle and terminates at its upper end adjacent the cap 2|. The liquid tube 26 extends from somewhat above the bottom end l9 and is laterally arcuated as at 28 toward the upper end of the tube 25.
The lower end of the aforementioned tube 25 terminates, in effect, in the bottom 9 of the receptacle and forms an opening 29. This opening or aperture is ofiset with respect to a further opening or passage 30 provided in the bottom l2 of the casing II. A gasket-like washer 3| is interposed between the bottoms l2 and 19, as will be clearly apparent from the accompanying drawings.
When the invention is placed in use, the medication 32 in liquid form is poured into the receptacle l8 by first removing the cover [5 and then the cap 2|. Thereupon the cover and cap are replaced and the device may be conveniently carried in the users pocket, since the seat 23 of the cover l5 engages and closes the opening 22 I6 and I! separate the bottom 19 from the washer V 3 I, as is best shown in Figure 2.
In this position, an air passage exists through the openings 30 and 29 and into the tube 25 and by applying the inhaler to the nose, so as to engage the opening 22 with the nostril, air may be drawn through the passages 30 and '29 and through the tube 25 as indicated by the arrows 33.
During this action, the liquid 32 will be drawn upwardly through the tube 26 and will be atomized at the junction of the tubes 25 and 26 in the well known manner. 7
It is believed that the advantages and use of the invention will be clearly understood from the foregoing disclosure and accordingly, further description thereof at this point is considered unnecessary.
While in the foregoing there has been shown and described the preferred embodiment of this invention it is to be understood that minor changes in the details of constructiomcombination and arrangement of parts may be resorted to without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as claimed. 7
What I claim as my invention is:
1. An inhaler comprising in combination, a vertically disposed, substantially cylindrical casing having a closed bottom and being open at its upper end, a cover removably positioned at the open'end of said casing and constituting a continuation thereof, an internallythreaded portion in said casing, a cylindrical receptacle and an externally threaded portion thereon, said receptacle being positioned in said casing and said threaded portions being in engagement, said receptacle also having a closed bottom and being open at its upper end, a dome-like cap removably positioned at the open end of said receptacle and being formed with an inhaling opening, a. seat in said cover normally closing said opening, atomizing means positioned in said receptacle and comprising an air tube and a liquid tube, said air tube extending upwardly from the bottom of said receptacle and terminating adjacent said cap, said liquid tube extending upwardly from above the bottom of said receptacle and being arcuated to terminate adjacent the upper end of said air tube, the'lower end of said air tube forming an aperture in the bottom of said receptacle, the bottom of said casing having a further aperture formed therein, the bottoms of said receptacle and of said casing normally being in contact and closing said apertures.
2. In an inhaler, a substantially cylindrical casing including a screw-threaded portion and provided with an aperture at the center of one of its ends, a receptacle provided with a further screw-threaded portion and positioned in said casing, said screw-threaded portions being in 0perative engagement, an end of said receptacle being'formed with an eccentrically disposed aperture and said eccentrically disposed aperture normally being closed by the apertured end of said casing.
3. The device as defined in claim 2 wherein the aperture in said casing is normally closed by the apertured end of said receptacle.
