More particularly. the invention proposes a new checker game which may be'played by four-'play'- useful imers.- The invention contemplates several diagrams U yfor initially setting up the checkers for starting the game.
Still further the invention proposes means'for facilitating the setting upv the new checker game. For further comprehension of the invention, and of the 4objects and the advantages4 thereof, reference will be had to the following description and accompanying drawings, andf'to the appended claims in which the various novel features of the invention are more particularly setforth. 'f j In the accompanying drawings forminga'rnaterialpart of this disclosure:
Fig. 1 is a plan View of a diagram's'heet Shcvv'- ing the set up for a four player checker game, in accordance with this invention. t Fig. 2 is a plan view' of a diagram sheets ing amodiiied form of checker game.v
Fig. 3 is a plan view of a diagramsheet showing still another modified arrangement.

This sheet is 'also provided with-a side tak 25a.` `^In'1igs. 5 to 7 acheker board isillustrated surrounded by-a squa'refraxnefSl which is'iveri tically slidably mounted on the edge portions'o'f taken on the line 64S of Fig. 5.
Fig. '7 is a sectional -view similar toFig. G'but" illustrating certain parts in a different position.
Fig. 8 is a perspective view of four `checker pieces of different colors such as are used in this game. l
In Fig. 1 a diagram sheet l0 for a four player checker board game is shown. `This diagram sheet Ill is printed with squares. has four side portions II, l2, I3 and I4. Positions for groups of different colored checkers Il I2', I3 and I4 are respectively imprinted along said four sides. These groups of checkers are shown arranged in pyramid fashion. The sheet Il'l has a side tap portion Ilia. i
In Fig. 2 another diagram sheet I5 is disclosed having four side portions I5, Il, IB and I9. Each of the side portions is provided with positions for groups different colored groups of checkers ISC;
I1', IB', and I9', respectively imprinted thereon. These checkers are set up in substantially trapezoidal formations. The sheet I5 has a tab portion I5EL at one side. l
In Fig. 3 another diagram sheet 20 is disclosed The sheet Il) the checker board.'Y 'Several pins 3`2f`f-rom=the framel 3 I engage4 into` W/"ert'icalislotslin'v the-edge portions vof the checker'jboard for 'limiting vertifcal sliding of the'fratriei315'. ,Thev checker board "30 is imprintedwith the usual Wh'itearid colored boxes.
The face of the clhecler'board is formed with grooves 3l!A along-the' 'lin'es formingits ibo'xes. :Strings 35' are mountedj acrossopposit'e sidesfof the frame'l' and y'normally restin the' grooves 34 when theframe 3| is in the lowered position. When Athe frame BI is raised, as illustrated'in Fig.I '7, the Strings' 35 arflocated abovethe 'top face of the board 3U. The frame 3l is formed with a slot 3B along one side. This slot 36 is located above the top face of the board 30 when the frame 3l is in its elevated position. Any one of the diagram sheets illustrated in Figs. 1 'to 4 may be slipped through the slot 3B to assume a position on the top face yof the board 30. Thesheet I0 is so illustrated in this position in Fig. 7. The checkers may then be placed upon the sheet IIJ `corresponding in color arrangement and vformation as imprinted on the sheet. K t The dot and dash lines 4I! in Fig. 7 schematically illustrates one of the checkers in yposition on Ythe sheet I0.
After all the checkers.l are located in position the-sheet I!) is pulled out by gripping the tab Illa to expose the squares on the board 30 with the checks in position. thereon, However, the checkerswill maintain their positions because the strings 35 hold them from shifting. 'Ihe frame 3| is then lowered so'that the strings 35 are again disposed'withinl the grooves 34 freeing the top face of the board so thecheck-V ers may be moved thereover. The game-may now be played in the usual way.
Fig. 8 discloses perspective views of four different colored checkers, indicated by reference numerals 4I, 42, 43 and 44.
While I have illustrated and described the preferred embodiments of my invention, it is to be understood that I do not limit myself to the precise constructions herein disclosed and the right is reserved to all changes and modifications coming within the scope of the invention as dened in the appended claims.
