If it is desired to use cured to an intermediate ring 23. The purpose a partition of a particular size with a larger bed of the intermediate ring 23 is to facilitate apall that is necessary is to manipulate the eye-bolts 55 in the nuts outwardly from the cleats and partltion and vice versa.
While I have shown concrete exemplications of the application of the principle of my invention these forms do not circumscribe my invention but my invention is capable of being exemplified in a large variety of forms.
It will be apparent that by my invention means easy of handling have been provided to accomplish the objects set forth. In addition, by the means VI have provided as will be apparent it will be a simple matter to remove the covering and the like. It will also be apparent that my invention is capable of application to any bed and that the means provided are not only simple in operation and manufacture, but are inexpensive, besides being capable of ready application by any one.
While I have illustrated and described the preferred form of construction for carrying my invention into effect this is capable of variation and modification without departing from the spirit of the invention. I, therefore, do not wish to be limited to the precise details of construction set forth, but desire to avail myself of such variations and modifications as come within the scope of the appended claims.
Having thus described my invention, what I claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patent is:
l. In a device of the kind described a bed frame having a foot end support and head end support and tie rod means connecting said supports, a partition for dividing said bed into two portions, eye-bolts secured to the respective ends of said partition, locking rod means adapted to be inserted through said eyebolts, and an attaching member provided with tension means for engaging a locking rod at opposite ends and extending over an end support.
2. In a device of the kind described a bed frame having a foot end support and head end support and tie rod means connecting said supports, a partition for dividing said bed into two portions, eye-bolts secured to the respective ends of said partition, locking rod means adapted to be inserted through said eye-bolts, and an attaching member having a tension spring and provided with rings for engaging a locking rod at opposite ends for maintaining said partition in position adjacent an end support.
3. In a device of the kind described a bed frame having a foot end support and head end support and tie rod means connecting said supports, a partition for dividing said bed into two portions, eye-bolts secured to the respective ends of said partition, locking rod means adapted to be inserted through said eye-bolts, and an attaching member having a tension spring with rings for engaging a locking rod at opposite ends and provided with an intermediate ring for manual engage-ment.
4. In a device of the kind described a bed frame having a. foot end support and head end support and tie rod means connecting said supports, a partition for dividing said bed into two portions, eye-bolts secured to the respective ends of said partition, locking rod means adapted to be inserted through said eye-bolts, and an attaching member having a tension spring and provided with rings for engaging a locking rod at opposite ends for maintaining said partition in position adjacent an end support, said locking rod having an upper enlarged head adapted to rest upon the upper ring of said attaching member.
