  • FIG. 5 is a diagram of a system of roll adaptive packaging technology according to an embodiment of the present disclosure.
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION
  • Systems and methods described herein provide two string loops that are stretched taut, positioned vertically and parallel to one another several inches apart, and hung from a horizontal toilet paper holder. The loops at their lower ends attach via hooks to a package of sanitary wipes. Such wipes may be preferable to ordinary toilet paper for many users.
  • The string for the loops may be made of flexible fabric or synthetic material which at their lower ends hold carabiner hooks that themselves hold and suspend the package via holes in the edge of the package. The package would effectively be hanging down from the toilet paper holder. The string comprising the loop may be about twelve inches in length such that when converted into a loop, the loop is six inches in length when pulled taut.
  • Many packages of sanitary wipes are flat and rectangular with a slot for dispensing wipes at an upward facing surface when the package is laying flat on a table surface, for example. The present disclosure teaches that holes may be placed at an edge area of the packaging such that when the package is turned ninety degrees and the slot faces outward toward the user instead of upward, and with the user seated on a toilet, the edge with the holes facing upward can be grasped by the hooks that are hanging down from bottom ends of the loops. The package effectively hangs within easy reach of the user with the slot dispensing wipes facing the user as accessible to the user while seated.
  • In an embodiment, the two strings made into loops may as noted be positioned about four or five inches apart from each other in a parallel manner as they hang down from the toilet paper holder. Their distance apart of course may be adjusted to meet the distance apart of the holes in the edge of the package of the sanitary wipes.
  • The design of the system may enhance accessibility to sanitary wipes, reduce required user range of motion for access to the wipes, and maintain aesthetic and functional integrity of the restroom space. It may eliminate the need for separate wipe holders and may alleviate inconvenience associated with placing of wipes in less accessible locations. These features may also be helpful for users with limited mobility or ailments wherein ease of access is important. In an embodiment, the loops with clamps and hooks may be contained in a back of the packaging and affixed by the user after purchase.
  • Turning to the figures, FIG. 1 depicts components and interactions of a system 100 of a roll adaptive packaging technology according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. System 100 comprises a loop 102 which is the string only formed into a loop. System 100 also comprises an upper end 104, a lower end 106, a hook 108, a lower clamp 110, and an upper clamp 112. The upper end 104 fits over the horizontal toilet paper holder. The lower end 106 holds the hook 108 which is a carabiner. The clamps 110, 112 grasp the adjacent strands of the loop 102, keep the strands together, and help the loop to be kept taut.
  • FIG. 2 depicts components and interactions of a system 200 of a roll adaptive packaging technology according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. Components of the system 200 are indexed to the components of the system 100. Components 200 a and 200 b are identical to system 100 and are commonly used in pairs as shown in FIG. 2 .
  • FIG. 2 depicts the system as it is applied in practice. FIG. 2 depicts a package 214, holes 216 a-b, and a slot 218 for dispensing sanitary wipes. The holes 216 a-b are where the hooks 108 shown in FIG. 1 would be inserted. The view in FIG. 2 is how the system is seen by a user seated on a toilet. As noted above, the package 214 which normally would lay flat on a table surface is turned ninety degrees so the upper surface where the slot is located faces out instead of up and the edge of the package 214 faces up such that the holes 216 a-b can be grasped by the hooks 108 provided by the system 100.
  • FIG. 3 depicts components and interactions of a system 300 of a roll adaptive packaging technology according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. Components of the system 300 are indexed to the components of the system 100.
  • FIG. 3 is similar to FIG. 2 and adds a toilet paper holder 320 to the depiction. FIG. 3 depicts how upper ends 306 a-b would loop over a horizontal tubular part of the toilet paper holder 320.
  • FIG. 4 depicts components and interactions of a system 400 of a roll adaptive packaging technology according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. Components of the system 400 are indexed to the components of the system 100.
  • In an embodiment, the package 414 may have only one hole 416 instead of two as described above. In this embodiment, both hooks 408 a-b would connect and grasp the package 414 at the single hole 416.
  • FIG. 5 depicts components and interactions of a system 500 of a roll adaptive packaging technology according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. Components of the system 500 are indexed to the components of the system 100.
  • In an embodiment, there may be no need to remove conventional toilet paper 522 from the toilet paper holder 520. Upper ends 506 a-b may be installed around the horizontal bar of the toilet paper holder 520 such that a user can access toilet paper and sanitary wipes while not needing to move from his/her sitting position on the toilet.
  • The system provides improved accessibility as the sanitary wipes may be within reach in a bathroom setting, without requiring additional counter space or fixtures. Waterproof packaging maintains the moisture and integrity of the wipes for an extended period. The system is versatile as it is compatible with standard toilet paper holders found in most home, office, and other bathrooms and restrooms. The system may be easy to use as it provides a simple mechanism for attaching and detaching the packaging from the holder, facilitating easy replacement and adjustment. The system may be aesthetically pleasing as it is directed to blending with bathroom interiors without disrupting the existing bathroom setup.
