Abstract
A chest wader includes a trouser body, a shoe body, and a connecting ring unit. The trouser body and the shoe body wader are detachably connected through the connecting ring unit. The chest wader not only has the advantage of being able to replace the shoe body independently, but also increases the adaptability of matching the trouser bodies and the shoe bodies of different sizes greatly. When a user wears the chest wader in the water for work or leisure activities, the chest wader provides a waterproof function for the lower half of the human body.
Description
- The present invention relates to a chest wader, and more particularly to a chest wader having a trouser body and a shoe body that are detachably connected.
- When people fish in fish farms, farm ponds or streams, they wear chest waders that extend from the soles of their feet upwards to their chests. This kind of clothing is waterproof, so the lower half of the human body will not get wet even if it is soaked in water for a long time.
- In the prior art, most chest waders are in the form of an integral structure. When in use, the user often walks on the bottom of a pool or on stones, so the soles are easily broken due to wear and tear. As a result, the whole west wader is discarded. This is one of the shortcomings of the existing products. Besides, existing chest waders are almost made in universal sizes because manufacturers want to minimize inventory and the number of items. Existing chest waders are available in a single size that is wide enough to fit most people. For a person that is relatively short or thin, it is inevitable that his/her movement will be impeded because the size of the chest wader is too large and does not fit properly. If the chest wader is too large in size for the user, it is prone to water ingress. Although a few manufacturers are willing to provide fit items in a variety of sizes, due to the traditional one-piece structure, not only do they need to consider the waistlines and lengths of trousers of different sizes, but also they need to consider shoes of different sizes, which results in that the number of items of different sizes as well as the amount of inventory and cost are staggering. Thus, this model had to be abandoned.
- From the above, it can be seen that the one-piece structural design of the conventional chest wader is highly unsatisfactory. If the trousers and shoes of the chest wader can be changed to a separate and combined design, not only can the consumables be replaced when shoes are damaged to reduce costs, but it can also reduce the variety of items in stock. However, if the trousers and shoes of the chest wader are changed to a separate and combined design, the biggest difficulty is whether the waterproof and airtightness of the joint is reliable.
- In view of the shortcomings of the prior art, the primary object of the present invention is to provide a chest wader.
- In order to achieve the forgoing object, the present invention provides a chest wader. The chest wader comprises a trouser body, a shoe body, and a connecting ring unit. The trouser body and the shoe body wader are detachably connected through the connecting ring unit.
- Preferably, two shoulder straps are provided on a top of the trouser body.
- Preferably, the connecting ring unit includes a first connecting member and a second connecting member. The first connecting member and the second connecting member each have a ring-shaped structure.
- Preferably, the first connecting member includes a first coupling plate. An outer edge of a top of the first coupling plate is in tight connection with an inner edge of a bottom of the trouser body.
- Preferably, the second connecting member includes a second coupling plate. An outer edge of a bottom of the second coupling plate is in tight connection with an inner edge of a top of the shoe body.
- Preferably, an inner edge of a lower end of the first coupling plate has at least one first engaging portion. A cross-section of the first engaging portion includes a first hook.
- Preferably, an inner edge of a lower end of the second coupling plate has at least one first engaging groove. The first engaging groove is configured to receive the first engaging portion. A cross-section of the first engaging groove has a first groove.
- Preferably, an inner edge of an upper end of the first coupling plate has at least one second engaging portion. A cross-section of the second engaging portion includes a second hook.
- Preferably, an inner edge of an upper end of the second coupling plate has at least one second engaging groove. The second engaging groove is configured to receive the second engaging portion. A cross-section of the second engaging groove has a second groove.
- Preferably, a corrugated section is provided between the first engaging groove and the second engaging groove of the second coupling plate.
- Preferably, an outer covering layer extends from the inner edge of the bottom of the trouser body above the first coupling plate. A tightening belt is connected to a bottom of the outer covering layer.
- The beneficial effects of the present invention are described below.
- 1. In the present invention, the trouser body and the shoe body of the chest wader are detachably connected. If the shoe body is damaged, consumers can replace the shoe body independently, so as to reduce costs, extend the service life of the chest wader, treasure the resources, and contribute to the reduction of waste.
- 2. In the present invention, the trouser body and the shoe body of the chest wader are detachably connected. In this way, when manufacturers want to stock a variety of sizes that fit well, they still need to stock trouser bodies and shoe bodies of different sizes, but the corresponding combinations of trouser bodies and shoe bodies of different sizes can be reduced, so as to increase profitability by reducing the variety and cost of inventory items.
- 3. In the present invention, the trouser body and the shoe body of the chest wader are detachably connected. The connecting ring unit is a multi-joint structure, which provides a good connection and is not easy to separate. It remains airtight and waterproof even when twisted in the water.
- 4. In the present invention, the trouser body and the shoe body of the chest wader are detachably connected. No tools are required for connection and disconnection of the trouser body and the shoe body. The trouser body and the shoe body can be disconnected by applying little force to pull them apart. The trouser body and the shoe body can be connected by applying force to press the connecting ring unit. It is very convenient in use.
