Description

    BACKGROUND
  • The cycle of laundry is ongoing and can be a task requiring detail regarding color and fabric sorting along with monitoring varied pairs of socks. This is compounded by the issue of addressing socks that go missing and/or are mixed-matched, which is a common problem in the laundry process that adds frustration to an already repetitive task. There have been no products available as original equipment or as an aftermarket to address this problem.
  • An apparatus to simplify the process of sorting socks from the rest of the laundry while also aiding not losing socks is not being met by any known device or system at present. There have been no products available as original equipment or as an aftermarket to address this problem either.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • The main purpose of the Wall Mounted Sock Hamper is to provide users with a wall-mounted, detachable laundry bag made especially to manage socks separate from regular apparel clothing.
  • A disclosed clothing hamper includes a laundry net comprising a closing end, a frame including a mouth configured to hold open the closing end of the laundry net, and teeth extending from the mouth and configured to hang the laundry net on the frame against gravity.
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
  • FIG. 1 is a perspective view of the Wall Mounted Sock Hamper in accordance with an embodiment of the present disclosure.
  • Throughout the description, similar reference numbers may be used to identify similar elements depicted in multiple embodiments. Although specific embodiments of the invention have been described and illustrated, the invention is not to be limited to the specific forms or arrangements of parts so described and illustrated. The scope of the invention is to be defined by the claims appended hereto and their equivalents.
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION
  • Reference will now be made to exemplary embodiments illustrated in the drawings and specific language will be used herein to describe the same. It will nevertheless be understood that no limitation of the scope of the disclosure is thereby intended. Alterations and further modifications of the inventive features illustrated herein and additional applications of the principles of the inventions as illustrated herein, which would occur to one skilled in the relevant art and having possession of this disclosure, are to be considered within the scope of the invention.
  • FIG. 1 is a perspective view of the Wall Mounted Sock Hamper showing: laundry bag made of mesh or breathable material referenced as A, self-adhesive backing referenced as B, rings around holes in laundry bag to attach to hooks referenced as C, hooks on 4 inner sides referenced as D, plastic frame comes in different sizes referenced as E, in accordance with an embodiment of the present disclosure. The view also includes a handle H attached proximal the closing end of the laundry net to enable a detachment of the laundry net upward against gravity from the teeth.
  • The present disclosed Wall Mounted Sock Hamper, also known as “SokBox”, offers a novel clothing accessory unit that provides a separate area for socks to be placed to ensure they are not mixed or lost with other laundry. Expanding on the initial design of an average laundry bag, the SokBox introduces a novel wall-mounted laundry bag system that uses adhesive strips or wall anchors to attach to the wall and hooks inside the frame to hold a primary mesh drawstring laundry bag. Users simply fill the bag with socks, close the drawstring when it's full or when it is laundry time, permitting them to place the bag in the wash, directly. With SokBox, the chances of misplacing or losing socks while doing laundry are significantly reduced as the socks are contained with a single bag instead of being lost during the wash/dry cycle. As a result, this innovative, top quality product allows for an improved and simplified laundry experience.
  • Although the operations of the method(s) herein are shown and described in a particular order, the order of the operations of each method may be altered so that certain operations may be performed in an inverse order or so that certain operations may be performed, at least in part, concurrently with other operations. In another embodiment, instructions or sub-operations of distinct operations may be implemented in an intermittent and/or alternating manner.
