Theextension tray 130 has a length of generally about 290 mm and a width of generally about 124 mm. Theextension tray 130 has a plurality ofopenings 132 sized for receipt of scissors, not shown andopenings 134 for trimmers, not shown. Twoopenings 132 have a dimension of generally about 38 mm by 50.8 mm for use in holding scissors. Threeopenings 134 have a dimension of generally about 25.4 mm square for use in holding clippers. Acircular opening 136 has a diameter generally about 100 mm and is used as a holder for a cup, mug or miscellaneous tray, not shown. Acell phone receptacle 140 is provided to hold a conventional sized cell phone, thereceptacle 140 having a width of generally about 25.4 mm and a length of generally about 120 mm. - In one embodiment the cooling
fan 100 includes aUSB receptacle 152 that is electrically coupled to the fan'sUSB inlet plug 102 wherein a cell phone, not shown, placed in thereceptacle 140 can be attached to the coolingfan USB receptacle 152 for recharging of a cell phone from the cooling fan'sUSB inlet port 102. Thestorage tray 70 may be directly placed on a table withnon slip bases 154 to maintain a distance between the fans and a table. Similarly thestorage tray 70 may be secured to a wall using fasteners placed throughwall hanging slots 156. In the preferred embodiment, two coolingfans 100 are employed having a substantially square shape wherein placement in a side by side position allows for a rectangular shape of thetray 70. - Referring now to
FIGS. 10-15 disclosed is an embodiment similar to that illustrated inFIGS. 6-9 having a coolingfan 200. In this embodiment thestorage tray 270 is aframe member 272 having asupport plate 274 with anupper surface 276 and alower surface 278 forming a plate having a thickness, the thickness depending upon the material employed with sufficient thickness to provide for the rigidity. In one embodiment theframe member 272 has a length generally about 270 mm and a width of generally about 124 mm. Thesupport plate 274 has a plurality of vent holes 280 extending between the upper 276 and lower 278 surface. Theframe member 272 further having afront side wall 282 spaced apart from arear side wall 284, and aleft side wall 286 spaced apart from aright side wall 288. The side walls extending upwardly from theupper surface 276 of thesupport plate 274. In the preferred embodiment theframe member 272 is constructed from plastic or aluminum. Theframe member 272 having a shape that allows ease of manufacturing, even by use of a 3D printer. - The
support plate 274 includes a plurality of slanted tray surfaces 290 positioned between theleft side wall 286 and theright side wall 288. Theslanted surface 290 constructed and arranged to receive the cutting blades, not shown. In operation the groomer may have multiple cutting blades placed on the slanted tray surfaces 290 wherein the cutting blades can be changed out so that the pet is not subjected to a hot blade. Frequent changing of the cutting blades is seen as a benefit to the welfare of the pet. The coolingfan 100 is secured to thelower surface 278 of thesupport plate 274. The coolingfan 100 electrically coupled to a power source and used to force air through the vent holes 280 to assist in dissipating heat from cutting blades placed on eachslanted surface 290. As with the previous embodiment, the coolingfan 100 includes aUSB plug 102 for electrically coupling to a power source having a USB port. The power source can be an electrical outlet or a portable rechargeable battery. - A
slide member 210 for securing theframe member 272 to thevertical grooming arm 150 of a pet grooming table. Theslide member 210 having at least oneaperture 212 constructed and arranged to be slidably positioned over the vertically disposedgrooming arm 150. Abracket member 220 can include 222, 224 to engage thefriction inducing tabs grooming arm 150 to stop theslide member 210 from descending thegrooming arm 150 which operates as a platform to maintain thestorage tray 270 at a height above the grooming table. Areceptacle 231 is provided to hold a conventional sized cell phone. Placement of thereceptacle 231 on the side edge allows ease of viewing from most every position on the grooming table. - In a previous embodiment the clamp mechanism is defined as a slide member attached to the rear wall of the frame member as illustrated in the previously described embodiment
FIGS. 1-5 . In this embodiment the clamp mechanism is defined as cavity bounded between the rear wall and a slanted surface, and the left side wall and the right side wall. In another embodiment, the friction inducing tabs can be threaded thumb screws that can be tightened to maintain the storage tray height. - An
extension tray 230 is securable to theslide member 210 to provide a further storage area to support the grooming procedure. In one embodiment, thestorage tray 270 andextension tray 230 hook to theslide member 210 allowing attachment and removal without tools. Theextension tray 230 has a length of generally about 290 mm and a width of generally about 124 mm. Theextension tray 230 has a plurality ofopenings 232 sized for receipt of scissors, not shown andopenings 234 for trimmers, not shown. Twoopenings 232 have a dimension of generally about 38 mm by 50.8 mm for use in holding scissors. Threeopenings 234 have a dimension of generally about 25.4 mm square for use in holding clippers. Acircular opening 236 has a diameter generally about 100 mm and is used as a cup holder, not shown. Areceptacle 240 is provided for a cell phone or any other item, thereceptacle 240 having a width of generally about 25.4 mm and a length of generally about 120 mm. - In accordance with the previous embodiment the cooling
fan 200 includes a USB receptacle that is electrically coupled to the fan's USB inlet plug wherein a cell phone, not shown, placed in thereceptacle 231 can be attached to the cooling fan USB receptacle for recharging of a cell phone from the cooling fan's USB inlet port. Thestorage tray 270 may be directly placed on a table withnon slip bases 254 to maintain a distance between the fans and a table. Similarly thestorage tray 270 may be secured to a wall using a hanging slot. - It is to be understood that while a certain form of the invention is illustrated, it is not to be limited to the specific form or arrangement herein described and shown. It will be apparent to those skilled in the art that various changes may be made without departing from the scope of the invention, and the invention is not to be considered limited to what is shown and described in the specification and any drawings/figures included herein.
