Description

    FIELD OF INVENTION
  • The present invention is in the field of beverage flasks that also have electronic vaporizer functionality.
  • DISCUSSION OF RELATED ART
  • A variety of different contraptions and beverage flasks provide electronic vaporizer functionality and improved methods of combining smoking with drinking. For example, U.S. Pat. No. 6,026,952, by inventor William Brooks, entitled Liquor And Cigar Combination Pack issued Feb. 22, 2000 provides for a liquor and cigar combination pack providing a cigar with a liquor beverage. Also, in U.S. Pat. No. 9,339,061 by inventor Jonathan Meyer issued May 17, 2016, entitled Method And Apparatus For Smoking And Drinking provides for a drink reservoir mounted above a cigarette for the convenience of those desiring to smoke and drink single handedly. Additionally, in United States patent application US20200163375A1 by inventor Bruno Baker Ubakar published May 28, 2020 entitled Beverage And Vapor Dispenser has a base unit with an electronic vaporizer that produces a vapor flow to a user while the user can also drink from the beverage container at the same time.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • The device can combine the functionality of a reusable water bottle and a cannabis flower vaporizer. A reusable water bottle has a liquid receptacle and a cap. The cap seals and contains the liquid within the receptacle. At the same time the cap allows for quick and easy dispensing of the liquid through a mouthpiece. The cap is connected to the liquid receptacle via threading. A Cannabis flower vaporizer is capable of heating a small chamber filled with Cannabis flower to its specific vaporization temperature without combusting any of the material. A vaporizer has a heating chamber, battery, controls, and a cooling mouthpiece to dispense the vapor.
  • This device contains all the components of a flower vaporizer within the cap of the reusable water bottle. The components are designed and positioned to prevent any liquid from entering the vaporizer portion of the device. There are two flip mouthpieces on the device. One mouthpiece is for dispensing liquid from the liquid receptacle. The other mouthpiece dispenses the vapor from vaporizer portion of the device. The liquid mouthpiece when closed fits within the body of the cap and seals the liquid outlet shut. The liquid mouthpiece when flipped to the upright position creates the path to dispense liquid. The liquid travels from the liquid receptacle through a straw into the liquid mouthpiece. The user can drink the liquid through the mouthpiece the same way as a straw.
  • The vapor mouthpiece is magnetically attached to the body of the device. The heating chamber is accessible by removing the vapor mouthpiece. Once removed, the user can load the chamber with flower. The vaporizer is controlled through one button and 4 LEDs. The device can also be controlled through a Bluetooth APP which allows for greater control and customization.
  • The flask and vape device has a main body. The main body is configured to retain liquid. The lid body is mounted to the main body over the main body. An electrical section is formed in the lid body. A heating chamber mounted in the electrical section. A heating chamber gasket is adapted to the heating chamber and fluidly connecting the heating chamber to a vapor mouthpiece. A straw tubing extends into the main body. A straw gasket is mounted to the lid body and receives the straw tubing. A liquid mouthpiece is connected to the main body and is in fluid communication with the straw. The electrical section of the lid body extends downwardly and at an electrical section extension. A liquid gap is formed between a main body sidewall and the electrical section.
  • The liquid section is formed in the lid body and is adjacent to the electrical section. A vertical partition is formed between the electrical section and the liquid section. The liquid section is open to and in fluid communication with the main body. A handle is formed on the lid body. The vapor mouthpiece is formed as a tube that folds downwardly to fit into a handle slot formed on the handle at a handle extension that extends outwardly. The vapor mouthpiece has an open position when the vapor mouthpiece is extended. The vapor mouthpiece has a closed position when the vapor mouthpiece is folded down. The liquid mouthpiece swivel is formed on the liquid mouthpiece. The liquid mouthpiece folds downwardly into a liquid ball swivel slot in a closed position and folds upwardly in an open position. The liquid ball swivel slot is formed on the lid body.

    DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
  • As seen in FIGS. 1-2 , the present invention has a vapor outlet 58 four user inhalation and a liquid outlet 31 for user beverage drinking. The lid body 30 is configured with a vaporizer that generates vapor, and the main body 20 is configured with a flask for holding beverages such as water. The lower body 40 has room for storage and can optionally include operable lower body storage vents 43. The lid body 30 further includes a handle 50 extending from a handle extension 52 and terminating in a hook tip 51. The handle extension 52 preferably includes a handle slot 53. The lower body storage vents 43 can be optionally closed and opened by turning the lower body relative to the main body 20.
  • As seen in FIG. 3 , the cross section of the present invention in closed mode shows a liquid vessel held within a main body 20. The main body sidewall 21 retains a liquid 38 which can be a beverage such as water. The main body sidewall 21 connects to the lower body 40 at a main body inside step 28. The lower portion of the main body sidewall 21 is recessed at the main body inside step 28 so that the main body sidewall 21 can be joined to the lower body connection 41 at the main body lower connection 22 while maintaining a flush sidewall profile.
  • The electrical system 60 is installed to the lid body 30. The electrical system 60 includes a USB connector socket 61 used for charging the battery 62. The battery 62 is mounted in the battery compartment 63 of the lid body 30. The battery compartment 63 is bounded at an interior vertical side by a vertical partition 24. The battery 62 powers activation of a heating chamber 64. The heating chamber 64 receives airflow from an opening on its underside which in turn draws air from outside the lid body 30. The lid body 30 may have a plug vent that allows air inlet. The heating chamber 64 has a heating chamber gasket 65 mounted at an upper edge of the heating chamber 64. The heating chamber gasket 65 connects to the vapor mouthpiece 66. The vapor mouthpiece 66 rests in a handle slot 53 that is formed on a handle extension 52. The vapor mouthpiece 66 also has a vapor mouthpiece base 67 having a vapor mouthpiece base opening that connects to the heating chamber gasket 65 to allow a user to draw from the heating chamber 64. The handle 50 also has a hook tip 51 that bends toward the heating chamber 64. A user can hold the handle 50 with the hook tip 51 and draw through the vapor mouthpiece 66.
  • The electrical system 60 is mounted in an electrical section 69 of the lid body 30. The lid body 30 is segmented into a front half and the rear half. The front half houses the liquid system including the straw tubing 37, while the rear half houses the battery compartment 63 and the heating chamber 64. The front half and the rear half are segmented at a vertical partition 24 which is an interior flat planar wall segmenting the liquid apparatus from the electrical apparatus. The battery compartment 63 extends downwardly at an electrical section extension 25. The electrical section extends downwardly further than the liquid section. The electrical section extension 25 has a liquid gap 26 between the electrical section extension 25 and the main body sidewall 21 that can cool the battery compartment 63.
  • The main body sidewall upper edge 27 has a main body gasket 23 that can seal to the lid body 30. Similarly, the straw tubing 37 used for receiving liquid 38 is connected to a straw gasket 36. The straw gasket 36 can be integrally formed with a mouthpiece swivel gasket 35. The straw tubing 37 is preferably inserted into the straw gasket 36, and the liquid ball swivel 34 preferably rests upon and seals against the mouthpiece swivel gasket 35. A mouthpiece swivel gasket indent can retain the mouthpiece swivel gasket 35. The liquid ball swivel 34 is mounted to a liquid mouthpiece swivel 33 to allow the liquid mouthpiece 32 rotation between and open position and a closed position. The liquid mouthpiece 32 has a liquid outlet 31.
  • The vapor mouthpiece base 67 is preferably magnetically retained at a vapor mouthpiece base magnet 68 to allow a user to remove the vapor mouthpiece 66 for cleaning. The heating chamber gasket 65 is also preferably removable to allow a user to clean the heating chamber 64. The heating chamber 64 can also be removable to allow a user to clean the heating chamber air inlet at the bottom of the heating chamber 64. Additionally, the main body 20 can be detached from the lid body 30 and the lower body 40 for dishwasher cleaning.
  • Controls can be mounted to the top of the lid body 30 at a control panel. The controls may include a power button and an LED array such as a first LED indicating 180° C., a second LED array indicating 193° C., a third LED array indicating 207° C., and a fourth LED indicating 221° C. In this way, the LED array can show different temperature levels. When the device first turns on, the LED array can show the battery level in quartiles percent charged. The startup can show the LED array activate sequentially as an animation from the first to the fourth LED in a fourth LED array display. The heating can also in many each LED separately in half second increments cycling through the LED display. During a session, the target temperature been reached can flash the current temperature level once the target temperature is reached. The LED can also flash the current temperature level quickly when there is one minute left in the session. When the session is ended, the LED can display the current temperature level and hold it.
  • The startup can also have a vibration which is actuated by an eccentric mass vibrator mounted in the electrical section 69. The shutdown can also have a vibration for tactile feedback. Different operation of the power button such as multiple prices can activate device on, device off and the temperature setting. A timer can be implemented with a countdown. The electrical system 60 preferably includes the timer in the controller. The controller can also have charge controller functionality that controls the battery 62 and heating chamber 64.
  • As seen in FIGS. 4-6 , the swivel for the vape mouthpiece can optionally be a magnetic swivel 54. The magnetic swivel or regular mechanical swivel is mounted within the handle slot 53. The vapor outlet 58 swivels into the handle slot 53. The liquid mouthpiece swivel 33 is formed in the liquid ball swivel slot 55 and houses the liquid mouthpiece when the liquid mouthpiece is folded to a folded position. The liquid mouthpiece is parallel to the vapor mouthpiece 66 when both are folded into a stowed position and when both are unfolded into a deployed position. The handle slot 53 is parallel to the liquid ball swivel slot 55. The liquid mouthpiece swivel 33 and the vapor mouthpiece 66 swivel can both be magnetic or mechanical or a combination of both.
  • One way air valves 70 can be installed to the lid body 30 for equalizing air pressure. The liquid air inlet valve 71 can be formed as a one-way air valve 70 and can be mounted in the liquid ball swivel slot 55 and a lower air intake to equalize air pressure during section on the liquid outlet 31. The vapor air inlet valve 72 can also be formed as a one-way air valve 70 and can equalize air pressure during section on the vapor section.

Claims (17)

1. A flask and vape device comprising:
a. a main body, wherein the main body is configured to retain liquid;
b. a lid body, wherein the lid body is mounted to the main body over the main body;
c. an electrical section, wherein the electrical section is formed in the lid body;
d. a heating chamber mounted in the electrical section;
e. a heating chamber gasket adapted to the heating chamber and fluidly connecting the heating chamber to a vapor mouthpiece;
f. a straw tubing extending into the main body;
g. a straw gasket mounted to the lid body, wherein the straw gasket receives the straw tubing; and
h. a liquid mouthpiece connected to the main body, wherein the liquid mouthpiece is in fluid communication with the straw.
2. The flask and vape device of claim 1, wherein the electrical section of the lid body extends downwardly and at an electrical section extension, wherein a liquid gap is formed between a main body sidewall and the electrical section.
3. The flask and vape device of claim 1, further including a liquid section, wherein the liquid section is formed in the lid body and is adjacent to the electrical section.
4. The flask and vape device of claim 3, further including a vertical partition formed between the electrical section and the liquid section, wherein the liquid section is open to and in fluid communication with the main body.
5. The flask and vape device of claim 1, further including a handle formed on the lid body; and wherein the vapor mouthpiece is formed as a tube that folds downwardly to fit into a handle slot formed on the handle at a handle extension that extends outwardly, wherein the vapor mouthpiece has an open position when the vapor mouthpiece is extended, and wherein the vapor mouthpiece has a closed position when the vapor mouthpiece is folded down.

The flask and vape device of claim 1, further including a liquid mouthpiece swivel formed on the liquid mouthpiece, wherein the liquid mouthpiece folds downwardly into a liquid ball swivel slot in a closed position and folds upwardly in an open position, wherein the liquid ball swivel slot is formed on the lid body.
7. The flask and vape device of claim 6, wherein the electrical section of the lid body extends downwardly and at an electrical section extension, wherein a liquid gap is formed between a main body sidewall and the electrical section.
8. The flask and vape device of claim 6, further including a liquid section, wherein the liquid section is formed in the lid body and is adjacent to the electrical section.
9. The flask and vape device of claim 8, further including a vertical partition formed between the electrical section and the liquid section, wherein the liquid section is open to and in fluid communication with the main body.
10. The flask and vape device of claim 6, further including a handle formed on the lid body; and wherein the vapor mouthpiece is formed as a tube that folds downwardly to fit into a handle slot formed on the handle at a handle extension that extends outwardly, wherein the vapor mouthpiece has an open position when the vapor mouthpiece is extended, and wherein the vapor mouthpiece has a closed position when the vapor mouthpiece is folded down.
11. The flask and vape device of claim 10, further including a liquid mouthpiece swivel formed on the liquid mouthpiece, wherein the liquid mouthpiece folds downwardly into a liquid ball swivel slot in a closed position and folds upwardly in an open position, wherein the liquid ball swivel slot is formed on the lid body.
12. The flask and vape device of claim 10, wherein the electrical section of the lid body extends downwardly and at an electrical section extension, wherein a liquid gap is formed between a main body sidewall and the electrical section.
13. The flask and vape device of claim 10, further including a liquid section, wherein the liquid section is formed in the lid body and is adjacent to the electrical section.
14. The flask and vape device of claim 13, further including a vertical partition formed between the electrical section and the liquid section, wherein the liquid section is open to and in fluid communication with the main body.
15. The flask and vape device of claim 14, further including a liquid mouthpiece swivel formed on the liquid mouthpiece, wherein the liquid mouthpiece folds downwardly into a liquid ball swivel slot in a closed position and folds upwardly in an open position, wherein the liquid ball swivel slot is formed on the lid body.
16. The flask and vape device of claim 14, wherein the electrical section of the lid body extends downwardly and at an electrical section extension, wherein a liquid gap is formed between a main body sidewall and the electrical section.
17. The flask and vape device of claim 16, further including a liquid mouthpiece swivel formed on the liquid mouthpiece, wherein the liquid mouthpiece folds downwardly into a liquid ball swivel slot in a closed position and folds upwardly in an open position, wherein the liquid ball swivel slot is formed on the lid body.
