-
FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a urine scattering prevention device according to an embodiment, andFIG. 2 is an exploded perspective view of the urine scattering prevention device according to an embodiment. - Referring to
FIGS. 1 and 2 , the urinescattering prevention device 100 according to an embodiment includes awater supply unit 1, ahousing 2, aguide unit 3, aspraying unit 4, and a mountingpar 5. - The
water supply unit 1 is provided so that water can flow into the urinescattering prevention device 100. Water is introduced into thewater supply unit 1 to guide the water toward thehousing 2. At this time, thewater supply unit 1 may be provided in the form of a tube or tube so that water may be guided from a water supply source (not shown) in the space where the toilet bowl is installed into the urinescattering prevention device 100. - The
housing 2 is connected to thewater supply unit 1 and forms the appearance of the urinescattering prevention device 100. The connection method between thehousing 2 and thewater supply unit 1 is not limited. An additional component may be connected between thehousing 2 and thewater supply unit 1, or thehousing 2 and thewater supply unit 1 may be directly connected. - For example, depending on the purpose of use, a Y-shaped pipe may be connected between the
water supply part 1 and thehousing 2 so that water may be divided, or if the water pressure of the water supply source is too strong, a part such as a pressure reducer may be used. may be installed. - A recessed
portion 22 may be formed in thehousing 2. The recessedportion 22 will be described later. - The
housing 2 may include an opening/closingpart 23 to block the internal space from the outside of the urinescattering prevention device 100 or to be open to the outside of the urinescattering prevention device 100. Thus, when the urinescattering prevention device 100 malfunctions, it is possible to conveniently perform internal repairs. - The
guide unit 3 may be connected to the housing to guide water discharged from thehousing 2. Specifically, theguide unit 3 may guide the water discharged from thehousing 2 to aspraying unit 4 to be described later. - The
housing 2 may include apressing part 24. Thepressing portion 24 is a contact portion of a tighteningunit 52 to be described later. Since thehousing 2 is generally made of plastic, excessive pressure on thehousing 2 may cause the housing to crack or break. Since thehousing 2 is pressurized by the tighteningunit 52, it can be protected by thepressing part 24. - A
first contact portion 25 protects thehousing 2 and can prevent shaking when thehousing 2 is coupled to the toilet bowl. Thefirst contact portion 25 may include an inclined contact surface along the outer surface of the toilet to adhere to the outer surface of the toilet. Specifically, the lower portion of the first contact portion 35 is longer than the upper portion, so that the contact surface may be directed upward rather than the front side. - The
guide unit 3 may be provided in the form of a tube or tube. Theguide unit 3 may extend toward the inside of the toilet bowl. Theguide unit 3 may serve as a passage for guiding water introduced into thehousing 2 to thespraying unit 4. Therefore, it is preferable that theguide unit 3 is provided to be bent. - When the
guide unit 3 is provided in the form of a pipe, the bending point may be the same as the inside of the toilet or a little more inside than the inner boundary of the toilet bowl. - The
spraying unit 4 may be coupled with theguide unit 3. Also, thespraying unit 4 may communicate with theguide unit 3. Water guided from theguide unit 3 may be injected into the toilet bowl through thespraying unit 4. - The
spraying unit 4 may be provided in the form of a nozzle. Thespraying unit 4 may inject the introduced water into the toilet bowl. At this time, water may be sprayed into the toilet bowl. At this time, water may be sprayed in the form of mist. - When the mist is sprayed from the
spraying unit 4, it can be sprayed to cover the inner cross-section of the toilet. Currently, the mist does not have to cover all the inner cross section of the toilet bowl. - The mist sprayed from the
spraying unit 4 may form a water film that prevents urine from splashing into the user or the space where the toilet is installed when the user urinates. Of course, since the mist sprayed by thespraying unit 4 flows into the toilet bowl by gravity, there is no need to clean the space where the toilet is installed to remove the mist. - In addition, the mist sinks into the toilet over time, but the mist is continuously sprayed from the
spraying unit 4 while water is continuously supplied from thewater supply unit 1. Therefore, the mist can form a water film that shields the opening portion of the toilet bowl. - The mounting
part 5 is provided to mount thehousing 2 to the toilet bowl. The mountingpart 5 includes aholder 51 and a tighteningunit 52. - The
holder 51 is preferably provided with a material with excellent rigidity. As will be described later, theholder 51 is pressed toward the toilet by the tighteningunit 52. In addition, since theholder 51 supports the weight of thehousing 2, if it is easily deformed even with a small force, it is difficult to predict the maximum effect according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. - The
holder 51 may include a first holdingpart 511, asecond holding part 512, and athird holding part 513. Thefirst holding part 511, thesecond holding part 512, and the third holdingpart 513 are merely separately described for convenience of description. That is, the first holdingpart 511, thesecond holding part 512, and the third holdingpart 513, which will be described later, may be integrally formed, or may be integrally combined in an assembly type. - The
first holding part 511 is a portion connected to thehousing 2. Thefirst holding part 511 may be connected to the housing and directly provide support to thehousing 2. In detail, thehousing 2 may be seated on the first holdingpart 511. Thefirst holding part 511 may be provided in a form extending toward the toilet bowl. - In detail, the first holding
part 511 may include a shape extending in the transverse direction of the toilet bowl. Specifically, the first holdingpart 511 may be mounted on the upper surface of the toilet bowl. Here, the upper surface of the toilet may be a surface on which the toilet seat cover is placed. Thefirst holding part 511 may include a shape extending in the width direction of thehousing 2. - The
first holding part 511 may include atightening connection portion 5111. Thetightening connection portion 5111 is a part connected to the tighteningunit 52 to be described later. Thetightening connection portion 5111 may be provided on one side of the first holdingpart 511. - In detail, the
holder 51 extends in the width direction of thehousing 2 and is bent at the side of thehousing 2 and the toilet bowl to have a closed structure. At this time, atightening connection portion 5111 may be provided at a bent portion of thehousing 2 side. - The
tightening connection portion 5111 may include anut part 5111 a to which a bolt part 522 to be described later is coupled. - The
second holding part 512 may be a portion that is bent at the other side of the first holdingpart 511 and extends to the lower side of the toilet bowl. In detail, thesecond holding part 512 may extend below a portion of the toilet bowl that meets the toilet seat cover. Specifically, thesecond holding part 512 may be provided along the inner wall of the toilet or inclined toward the inner wall of the toilet. - The
third holding part 513 is a portion that is bent from thesecond holding part 512 and extends toward the inner circumferential surface of the toilet bowl. Thethird holding part 513 may couple the urinescattering prevention device 100 according to an embodiment to the toilet bowl together with the first holdingpart 511. Thethird holding part 513 may extend more inclined toward the inner wall of the toilet bowl than thesecond holding part 512. - That is, the third holding
part 513 may provide support to thehousing 2 by being in close contact with the inside of the toilet bowl. - The
third holding part 513 may be removed if necessary. If there is no third holdingpart 513, thesecond holding part 512 bent from the first holdingpart 511 and extended to the inside of the toilet bowl is connected to the inner circumferential surface of the toilet bowl, thereby the urinescattering prevention device 100 can be coupled to the toilet bowl. - The
third holding part 513 may further include asecond contact portion 5131. Thethird holding part 513 may not include thesecond contact portion 5131 if necessary. This is because the toilet bowl has excellent rigidity compared to thehousing 2. Accordingly, thesecond contact portion 5131 may be detachably provided. - That is, the
housing 2 is provided with afirst contact portion 25 provided so that the toilet bowl and thehousing 2 come into close contact, and thesecond holding part 512 is provided so that the inside of the toilet bowl and thesecond holding part 512 are in close contact. Asecond contact portion 5131 is provided, and thefirst contact portion 25 and thesecond contact portion 5131 press the outside and inside of the toilet bowl and prevent thehousing 2 from moving. - The tightening
unit 52 is connected to thetightening connection portion 5111 and is provided to press thehousing 2. - According to one embodiment, the tightening
unit 52 may include acap part 521 and a bolt part 522. The bolt part 522 can push thehousing 2 as it is coupled to thetightening connection portion 5111 a and rotated. - At this time, the
cap part 521 may be provided so that the user can conveniently rotate the bolt part 522. -
FIG. 1 to 10 show a method of moving thehousing 2 toward the toilet by pressing thehousing 2 while rotating the tighteningunit 52 but is not limited thereto. It is also possible to fix thehousing 2 to the toilet by pressing the tighteningunit 52. The method of pressurizing thehousing 2 is not limited. -
FIG. 3 is a view showing a connection structure between a water supply unit and a housing according to an embodiment. - Referring to
FIG. 3 , thewater supply unit 1 may be doubly coupled with thehousing 2. Accordingly, it is possible to prevent water supplied from the water supply source from contaminating the space in which the toilet bowl is installed. - According to one embodiment, the
water supply unit 1 may be inserted into thehousing 2 and connected to thehousing 2 by rotating a watersupply connection unit 21 to one side. - The user can easily remove the
water supply unit 1 from the urinescattering prevention device 100 by rotating the watersupply connection unit 21 to the other side, and the user can easily install, exchange, and remove the product. -
FIG. 4 is a view showing the spray angle control unit of the urine scattering prevention device according to an embodiment. - Referring to
FIG. 4 , a sprayingangle adjusting unit 514 may be provided in thesecond holding part 512. - The spraying
angle adjusting unit 514 includes anextension 5141 and aguide connection 5142. - The
extension 5141 is a part connected to thesecond holding part 512. Theextension 5141 may be provided on both sides of thesecond holding part 512. Theextension 5141 may be provided so that theguide connection 5142 to be described later can freely rotate. - The
extension 5141 may be provided to surround a part of thesecond holding part 512. The lengths of one side and the other side of theextension 5141 surrounding thesecond holing part 512 may be different from each other. Accordingly, attachment and detachment of theextension 5141 may be facilitated. However, it is not limited thereto, and the lengths of one side and the other side may be the same depending on the material or coupling type of theextension 5141. - The
extension 5141 may be movably provided along thesecond holding part 512. When theextension part 5141 is provided to surround thesecond holding part 512, it can easily move along thesecond holding part 512 while being coupled with thesecond holding part 512. Accordingly, it is possible to effectively create a urine scattering prevention water film regardless of the type and size of the toilet bowl. - The
guide connection 5142 is a part to which theguide unit 3 is connected. As described above, theguide unit 3 may be appropriately bent according to the type or size of the toilet. Thus, the effect of the urine scattering prevention water film can be maximized. - The
guide connection 5142 is rotatably coupled to theextension 5141. By changing the direction of theguide unit 3, it is possible to effectively create a urine scattering prevention water films. As theguide connection 5142 rotates, the direction thespraying unit 4 faces may change. - That is, the urine
scattering prevention device 100 according to an embodiment may include a sprayingangle adjusting unit 514 on thesecond holding part 512. The sprayingangle adjusting unit 514 may be provided so that at least a part of theguide unit 3 is connected and the position of thespraying unit 4 can be changed. -
FIGS. 5A and 5B are views showing the operation of the urine scattering prevention device according to an embodiment.FIG. 5A is a view showing a state in which water is blocked from being discharged to the guide unit because the operation unit does not rotate, andFIG. 5B is a view showing a state in which water is discharged to the guide unit as the operation unit rotates. - Referring to

Theoperating unit 6 is rotatably provided on one side of thehousing 2 and is provided to discharge or block water introduced from thewater supply unit 1 to theguide unit 3 according to movement. -
FIGS. 5A and 5B shows that the water is discharged to theguide unit 3 when theoperating unit 6 is rotated counterclockwise, but the movement of theoperating unit 6 is not limited. - It is sufficient if the
operating unit 6 can perform a role of allowing the water introduced into thehousing 2 to be discharged to theguide unit 3 or blocking it from being discharged. - Specifically, the
operating unit 6 may be connected to thewater supply unit 1. Theoperating unit 6 is provided so that theguide unit 3 and thewater supply unit 1 communicate when theoperating unit 6 rotates in one direction, and when theoperating unit 6 rotates in the other direction, theoperating unit 6 rotates. Water guided from thewater supply unit 1 may be connected to theguide unit 3. That is, water supplied from thewater supply unit 1 may be guided to theguide unit 3 or restricted from being guided to theguide unit 3 according to the rotation direction of theoperating unit 6. -
FIG. 6 is a view showing the installation state of the urine scattering prevention device according to one embodiment,FIG. 7 is a view showing the installation method of the urine scattering prevention device according to an embodiment. Specifically,FIG. 7 (a) is a view showing the appearance of the urine scattering prevention device before installation,FIG. 7 (b) is a view showing the installation of the urine scattering prevention device. - Referring to
FIGS. 6 and 7 , the urinescattering prevention device 100 according to an embodiment may be seated on the top of the toilet bowl T to determine the installed position. This is because when the third holdingpart 513 does not come into close contact with the toilet bowl, the first holdingpart 511 can move freely at the upper end of the toilet bowl T. - When the installation location is determined, the user may move the
housing 2 toward the toilet bowl T through the tighteningunit 52. - For example, as described above, if the tightening
unit 52 is provided with thecap part 521 and the bolt part 522, the user can rotate thecap part 521. Accordingly, the bolt part 522 may pass through thenut part 5111 a and transmit force to thepressing part 24 of thehousing 2. Since thepressing part 24 is integrally coupled with the housing, as the bolt part 522 advances toward thehousing 2, thehousing 2 can come into close contact with the toilet bowl T. - In other words, the distance between the
housing 2 and the third holdingpart 513 may be shortened. Thefirst contact portion 25 may contact the outer surface of the toilet bowl T, and the third holdingpart 513 may contact the inner surface of the toilet bowl T. - After the
first contact portion 25 or thehousing 2 is connected to the outside of the toilet bowl T and the third mountingpart 513 is connected to the inside of the toilet bowl T, thehousing 2 and the third mounting part The length of 513 may not vary or may be slightly shortened. After that, as the bolt part 522 rotates, the fixing force of the urinescattering prevention device 100 may increase. When the user determines that the bolt part 522 is no longer rotated or the urinescattering prevention device 100 is not removed, the operation of the tighteningpart 52 can be stopped and the installation can be completed. - After the
first contact portion 25 or thehousing 2 is connected to the outside of the toilet bowl T and the third holdingpart 513 is connected to the inside of the toilet bowl T, the length of thehousing 2 and third holdingpart 513 may not vary or may be slightly shortened. After that, as the bolt part 522 rotates, the fixing force of the urinescattering prevention device 100 may increase. When the user determines that the bolt part 522 is no longer rotated or the urinescattering prevention device 100 is not removed, the operation of the tighteningunit 52 can be stopped and the installation can be completed. - According to one embodiment, it is possible to provide a device that can easily prevent urine scattering without electronic equipment. Since electronic equipment is not used, the production cost can be lowered, and the urine scattering prevention device according to an embodiment of the present disclosure can be provided to consumers at a reasonable price.
-
FIG. 8 is a view showing a urine scattering prevention device including a cleaning unit according to an embodiment. - The urine
scattering prevention device 100 according to an embodiment may further include a cleaning unit 7. The cleaning unit 7 may contain a liquid or solid cleaning agent. - The cleaning unit 7 may be provided to communicate with the inside of the
housing 2. The cleaning unit 7 may be provided so that at least a portion of the cleaning agent is discharged to thespraying unit 4 together with water as water introduced from thewater supply unit 1 flows into theguide unit 3. - The structure through which the cleaning agent is discharged is not limited. For example, when the cleaning agent is solid, water to be introduced into the
housing 2 may pass through the cleaning unit 7 and be guided to theguide unit 3. Similarly, when the cleaning agent is a liquid, if thehousing 2 and the cleaning unit 7 are in communication, the cleaning agent can be melted in water and guided to theguide unit 3 together. - The cleaning unit 7 may be detachably provided. Thus, the cleaning unit 7 can be easily replaced.
- Thus, even if the urine
scattering prevention device 100 further includes the washing unit 7, it can also perform a function of washing the inside of the toilet bowl T without a separate electrical component. -
FIG. 9 is a perspective view of the urine scattering prevention device according to an embodiment. - According to one embodiment, in the urine
scattering prevention device 100, an electric appliance accommodating part (not shown) may be accommodated in thehousing 2, and anoperating unit 6′ may be provided as an electric appliance. At this time, theoperating unit 6′ may include a control unit (not shown). A sensor (not shown) may be provided on the outside of the electrical component accommodating unit or thehousing 2. - The sensor detects the user's use of the toilet bowl (T) and the urine
scattering prevention device 100 may automatically operate. - Specifically, the sensor unit may detect the opening and closing of the toilet seat cover placed on the upper surface of the toilet bowl T. The toilet seat cover may be composed of a seat portion where a user does not sit and a cover portion covering the seat portion. Here, the sensor may detect a state in which both the seat portion and the cover portion are opened and closed.
- Specifically, the sensor may use at least one of a proximity sensor and a pressure sensor. The sensor may detect a closed state of the toilet seat cover when a nearby toilet cover is detected and may detect an open state of the toilet seat cover when no nearby toilet cover is detected. Alternatively, the sensor may detect a closed state of the toilet seat cover when pressure is applied by the toilet seat cover and may detect an open state of the toilet seat cover when no pressure is applied.
- When the sensor detects that the lid or the toilet seat of the toilet bowl T is opened, the

part 511 to a specific position. Specifically, the user may feel that height adjustment is necessary according to the structure or shape of the toilet in which the urinescattering prevention device 100 according to an embodiment is installed. At this time, if the first holdingpart 511 can always be located only on the uppermost side of the recessedportion 22, the user's satisfaction when using the urinescattering prevention device 100 may not be great. Therefore, the hanging portion 221 may be provided to adjust the height of the urine scattering prevention device according to the user's selection. - The hanging portion 221 may limit the movement of the first holding
part 511 when the first holdingpart 511 is coupled to thehousing 2. When there is a need to remove the urinescattering prevention device 100 from the toilet, abutton portion 222 may be provided so that the urinescattering prevention device 100 can be easily removed. - The
button portion 222 is provided on the outside of thehousing 2, and when the user presses thebutton portion 222, a hanging portion 221 is inserted into thehousing 2 to enable removal of theholder 51. - The shape of the hanging portion 221 is not limited. The hanging portion 221 suffices if the movement of the first holding
part 511 is restricted. - For example, as shown in
FIG. 10 , when the first holdingpart 511 is coupled to thehousing 2, when thebutton portion 222 is pressed, the hooking portion 221 is formed in a concave-convex shape. The position of the first holdingpart 511 may be adjusted in the state of being inserted inside, and the first holdingpart 511 may be fixed to a specific position by releasing thebutton portion 222. - In addition, when the hanging portion 221 is provided in the form of upwardly inwardly of the recessed
portion 22 from both sides of the recessedportion 22, the user simply inserts the first holdingpart 511 into the recessedportion 22. By inserting it, the position of the first holdingpart 511 can be determined. At this time, by pressing thebutton portion 222, the first holdingpart 511 can be removed. - Although representative embodiments of the present invention have been described in detail above, those skilled in the art will understand that various modifications are possible to the above-described embodiments without departing from the scope of the present invention. Therefore, the scope of the present invention should not be limited to the described embodiments and should not be defined and should be defined by not only the claims to be described later, but also those equivalents to these claims.
