Abstract

This is a Combined Ashtray and Sifter. This product serves as an ashtray and sifter combination for Cannabis smokers. Its function is that it allows the Cannabis smoker to ash their Cannabis cigarettes through the top portion of the ashtray. Then the ashes flow through the sifter located in the mid-section of the Combined Ashtray and Sifter, separating the ashes from the top portion. The ashtray is now ashes free and the smoker can save their Cannabis Cigarettes for reuse in a clean and ash free ashtray. The ashes have now been filtered to the bottom part of the Combined Ashtray and Sifter, where they are held until they are discarded.

BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
• • 1) This product serves as an ashtray and sifter combination for Cannabis smokers. Its UNIQUE utility function is that it allows the Cannabis smoker to ash their Cannabis cigarettes through the top portion of the ashtray. Then the ashes flow through the sifter located in the mid-section of the Combined Ashtray and Sifter, separating the ashes from the top portion. The ashtray is now ashes free and the smoker can save their Cannabis Cigarettes for reuse in a clean and ash free ashtray. The ashes have now been filtered to the bottom part of the Combined Ashtray and Sifter, where they are held until they are discarded.
BACKGROUND OF INVENTION
• • 1) I thought up this idea in the 1990's when I was at a friend's house and everyone would throw their Cannabis Cigarettes into a big ashtray in the middle of the table. They did this so that when they ran out of Cannabis, they can reuse the unused portion of the Cannabis cigarettes later. Either by re-rolling them or by just smoking whatever was left over. The problem was that it didn't taste very good because the Cannabis cigarettes have been sitting in ashes. That is when I thought of a way to eliminate the taste of the ashes, by eliminating the ashes all together with my Combined Ashtray and Sifter.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
• • 1) This combined ashtray and sifter is an ashtray that allows the ashes to travel through the top of the ashtray and through the sifter, storing the ashes on the bottom of the ashtray while maintaining the contents on top, clean and free from any ashes. This product is portable and airtight when closed. Making it waterproof and odorless, perfect for the everyday Cannabis users. The unique sifter screen and funnel design prevent the ashes from re-entering the top portion of the Combined Ashtray Sifter, so the contents on top are always clean from any ashes and ready for reuse.

Claims (3)

1) The purpose of this invention is to provide Cannabis users with a product that is used every day, such as an ashtray. But with a unique added function, that filters out the ashes and allows the user to store their Cannabis Cigarettes in a clean compartment for reuse at a later time.

2) The mid-section of this invention, the sifter. The sifter consists of 2 metal screens that intersect each other with a funnel attached at the bottom which helps filter the ashes down to where they will be held, stored and discarded. Leaving the top portion of the ashtray and its contents clean and ash free.

3) This invention, besides the functionality described. Is also portable, airtight, and water resistant.
