Abstract

The invention relates to an improved device for suspension training, having a central pulley which is secured by a carabiner with a safety closure and through the channel of which slides an 8 mm cord restricted by sliding cord loops into which are hooked flat carabiners that connect same to handles formed by a flat strap and a tube with a cushioned surface, the device also having a strap of loops.

Description

    FIELD OF THE INVENTION
  • The present invention relates to an improved device for suspension training.
  • The field of application of the invention is related to leisure and physical and sports activities, specifically in synergy with systems for sports training and readaptation of injuries that it is able to improve.
  • That is, the simultaneous use of the device with some training devices causes the former to improve the latter, making it possible for them to do things for which they were not initially designed, achieving a significant improvement in athletic performance and the processes of readaptation. Independently of the fact that the device, in and of itself, used on its own, also produces these improvements in said areas of intervention.
  • STATE OF THE ART
  • Suspension training has gained in popularity, and it is commonly used as an efficient technique for the development and acquisition of physical fitness and health by people. To date, and despite the evolution that it has undergone over the last decade, suspension training has been limited by the need to move body weight by the persons own efforts, which represents a handicap for certain populations that lack a series of minimum absolute strength values to achieve this. Likewise, the design of the large majority of the existing devices, based on loops of flat webbing and/or buckles, complicate the dynamic transition between tasks and sometimes generate rubbing and lacerations, which is a situation that is uncomfortable for users. Furthermore, the use of additional devices is often necessary to make it possible to complement the exercises done by the existing suspension devices, because they do not allow them to be executed.
  • OBJECT OF THE INVENTION
  • The purpose of the present invention is therefore to present an Improved Device for Suspension Training, which integrates a set of technical and structural modifications that make it possible to expand the current field of intervention of these products, responding to different needs that are currently not addressed by the existing suspension training devices, and without the need to use a different device for each situation.
  • Likewise, the simultaneous use of the invention with some training devices, results in an improvement in the functions of the training devices, making it possible for them to do things for which they were not initially designed, and achieving a significant improvement in athletic performance and the processes of readaptation.
  • For all of these reasons, the novelty of the present invention represents a clear and substantial improvement on all known devices in the current state of the art.
  • DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
  • The invention is comprised of a central pulley, equipped with a carabiner with safety closure, and through whose groove slides a rope 8 mm in diameter. The device allows the regulation of the height of the arms by means of a loop of cord 6 mm in diameter that constricts the 8 mm rope by means of a prusik knot (a knot commonly used in sport climbing and that is not used in any of the devices of the competition), which allows much faster, easier, and smoother adjustment.
  • Likewise, the device has several handle loops made up of two pieces, a tube and flat webbing, connected to the cord loop by means of one flat carabiner for each. The flat webbing can be used as a waist harness, to anchor the rest of the device to it, making it possible to diversify the force vectors, one of the advantages with respect to the competition.
  • Likewise, the device has a band with loops that is used to secure the device to other structures (for example wall bars, wall anchors, trees, railings, etc.) and to make it possible to work in different and innovative ways.
  • DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
  • FIG. 1 . This figure shows an image of the invention as a whole, indicating its components.
  • FIG. 2 . This figure shows a detailed view of a band with loops as an accessory of the invention, which allows it to be secured to other structures and/or devices.
  • PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION
  • As shown in FIG. 1 , the invention consists of a central pulley (1), equipped with an upper opening, through which a carabiner with a safety closure (2) is passed. An 8 mm rope (3), finished at the ends with knots, slides over the groove of the central pulley (1). A sliding cord loop (4), with a diameter of 6 mm, is tied on the 8 mm rope (3), and constricts the 8 mm rope by means of a prusik knot, thus allowing controlled adjustment. Likewise, the sliding cord loop (4) is hooked to several flat carabiners (5), which hold the handle loops formed by flat webbing (6) and a cushioned cover tube (7), with a band with loops (8) included as an accessory.
  • FIG. 2 likewise shows the band with loops (8), which allows the device to be secured to other structures.
  • The essential features of the invention include the detailed variations, which are likewise protected, with possible variations of the morphology and type of the central pulley, the diameter of the ropes used, the type of sliding knots used, the type of anchor buckles, the webbing and the tube that make up the handle loops, as well as the different possibilities for use and applications deriving from the possible configurations of the present utility model.

Claims (4)

1. 2. The improved device for suspension training according to claim 1, wherein the sliding cord enables the adjustment of the grip length.
3. The improved device for suspension training according to claim 1, wherein the flat webbing is a waist harness, to anchor the the device to the flat webbing which diversify the force vectors.
