Abstract
A cigarette filter includes a mouthpiece, a filter, a connection member, a cigarette seat, and a filter cotton. The mouthpiece has an air duct. The filter is combined with the mouthpiece and has a first and a second containing spaces. The first containing space is connected with the air duct. The connection member has a first and a second connection portions in opposite to the connection member. The first connection portion is in the second containing space. The second connection portion is disposed out of the second containing space. The cigarette seat is fastened to the second connection portion and receives the cigarette. The filter cotton is removably disposed between the air duct and the first containing space. The removable filter cotton is porous and absorbs an oil liquid which improves flavor of smoke.
Description
- The present invention relates to cigarette filters, and more particularly, to a rolled cannabis and tobacco cigarette filter preventing hazardous substance from entering human body.
- Manufactured rolled cannabis and tobacco cigarettes have various hazardous substances, which may cause substantial damage to human body of people who smoke.
- For lowering the risk of damaging human body during smoking, the industry has developed a filter for a rolled cannabis and tobacco cigarette to be inserted thereon, so that the filter cotton in the filter is able to filter the hazardous substance in the tobacco. However, conventional filter cotton is mostly formed of materials such as synthetic fiber, glass fiber, or non-woven fabric. Therein, the filter cotton does not contain other ingredients which can enhance the filter effect. Thus, the filter effect of filter cotton is relatively limited. Also, conventional filter cotton is flavorless and unable to provide additional flavors to the rolled cannabis and tobacco.
- To improve the issues above, a cigarette filter is disclosed, which enhances the flavors of the rolled cannabis and tobacco through the oil liquid absorbed by the removable filter cotton.
- For achieving the aforementioned objectives, a cigarette filter is provided, comprising:
- a mouthpiece comprising a mouth held portion and a connection portion in opposite to the mouthpiece portion, with an air duct passing through the mouth held portion and the connection portion, the mouth held portion applied for contacting a mouth of a user;
- a filter combined with the connection portion of the mouthpiece, the filter comprising a first containing space and a second containing space that are connected, the first containing space further connected with the air duct;
- a connection member comprising a first connection portion and a second connection portion in opposite to the connection member, the first connection portion disposed in the second containing space, the second connection portion disposed out of the second containing space;
- a cigarette seat fastened with the second connection portion of the connection member, the cigarette seat receiving a cigarette; and
- a removable filter cotton is disposed between the air duct of the mouthpiece and the first containing space of the filter, the removable filter cotton formed of a porous material and absorbing an oil liquid.
- With such configuration, the present invention improves the filter effect and enhances the flavors of rolled cannabis and tobacco cigarette through the oil liquid absorbed by the removable filter cotton, facilitating medical or recreational effects, resolving the relatively limited filter effects of conventional filter cotton.

- The directional terms of, for example, “up”, “down”, “front”, “rear”, “left”, “right”, “inner”, “outer”, and “side” are only used herein for illustrating the relative directions shown in the drawings. Therefore, the directional terms are applied for the purpose of illustration and understanding of the present invention, instead of limiting the present invention.
- Referring to
FIG. 1 toFIG. 5 , the present invention provides acigarette filter 100, comprising amouthpiece 10, afilter 20, aconnection member 30, acigarette seat 40, and aremovable filter cotton 50. - The
mouthpiece 10 comprises a mouth heldportion 11 and aconnection portion 12 in opposite to the mouth heldportion 11. The mouth heldportion 11 is applied for contacting the mouth of a user. Therein, anair duct 13 passes through the mouth heldportion 11 and theconnection portion 12, as shown byFIG. 1 andFIG. 2 . In the embodiment, themouthpiece 10 is formed of an eco-friendly resin material. - The
filter 20 is combined with theconnection portion 12 of themouthpiece 10. Thefilter 20 comprises afirst filter portion 21 and asecond filter portion 22. The outer diameter of thefirst filter portion 21 is smaller than the outer diameter of thesecond filter portion 22. Thefirst filter portion 21 is disposed in theconnection portion 12 of themouthpiece 10, as shown byFIG. 2 andFIG. 3 . - Also, the
filter 20 comprises a first containingspace 23 and asecond containing space 24 that are connected, wherein the first containingspace 23 is disposed in thefirst filter portion 21, and thesecond containing space 24 is disposed in thesecond filter portion 22. The first containingspace 23 is connected with theair duct 13. In the embodiment, thefilter 20 is formed of an eco-friendly resin material. - Further, the
filter 20 comprises adivision member 25, which divides the inner portion of thefilter 20 into the first containingspace 23 and thesecond containing space 24. Therein, thedivision member 25 has a plurality of throughholes 251, and each throughhole 251 connects the first containingspace 23 and thesecond containing space 24, as shown byFIG. 2 . - The
connection member 30 comprises afirst connection portion 31 and asecond connection potion 32. Thefirst connection portion 31 of theconnection member 30 is disposed in thesecond containing space 24 of thefilter 20, and thesecond connection portion 32 of theconnection member 30 is disposed out of thesecond containing space 24 of thefilter 20. In the embodiment, the outer periphery of thesecond connection portion 32 is threaded. Theconnection member 30 is formed of a metal material. - Also, a
bore channel 33 passes through thefirst connection portion 31 and thesecond connection portion 32, and thebore channel 33 is connected with each throughhole 251 of thefilter 20. - The
cigarette seat 40 is fastened to thesecond connection portion 32 of theconnection member 30 for receiving thecigarette 1, as shown byFIG. 2 andFIG. 5 . Therein, thebore channel 33 is connected between thefilter 20 and thecigarette seat 40. In the embodiment, thecigarette seat 40 is formed of a metal material. - The
removable filter cotton 50 is disposed between theair duct 13 of themouthpiece 10 and the first containingspace 23 of thefilter 20. Theremovable filter cotton 50 is formed of a porous material. Theremovable filter cotton 50 absorbs an oil liquid, wherein the oil liquid is an organic compound. In the embodiment, the oil liquid is terpene, linalool, or myrcene. - Referring to
FIG. 3 andFIG. 4 , user can replace thefilter cotton 50 according to actual demands. When the oil liquid is terpene, the terpene increases the function of cannabinoids in thecigarette 1. When the oil liquid is linalool, the linalool lowers the detrimental effect caused by delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol to medical user. Also, the linalool reduces the desire of smoking, drinking alcohol and abusing drugs. When the oil liquid is myrcene, the myrcene increases the potency of the delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol to recreational users. - Two
washers 60 are spaced and mounted around thefirst connection portion 31 of theconnection member 30. In the embodiment, referring toFIG. 2 , onewasher 60 is mounted around one end of thefirst connection portion 31 and disposed in adjacent to thedivision member 25. Theother washer 60 is mounted around the other end of thefirst connection portion 31 and disposed in adjacent to thesecond connection portion 32. Therefore, the twowashers 60 of thecigarette filter 100 improve the tightness between theconnection member 30 and thefilter 20, thereby preventing the separation between thefilter 20 and theconnection member 30. - When the user uses the
cigarette filter 100, the user can select theremovable filter cotton 50 which absorbed different oil liquids according to usage demands. The selectedfilter cotton 50 is placed in the first containingspace 23 of thefilter 20, and thecigarette 1 is inserted on thecigarette seat 40. Then, when the user smokes thecigarette 1, the smoke of thecigarette 1 enters thefilter 20 through thebore channel 33 and through each throughhole 251, and the oil liquid absorbed by theremovable filter cotton 50 filters the smoke and generates corresponding flavors in the smoke of thecigarette 1. The smoke filtered through theremovable filter cotton 50 then enters the mouth of the user through theair duct 13. - Therefore, the
filter 20 of thecigarette filter 100 filters the smoke of thecigarette 1 first. When the smoke passes through theremovable filter cotton 50, a flavor is added in the smoke by the oil liquids absorbed by theremovable filter cotton 50. As a result, through the filter function of thefilter 20 and the oil liquid absorbed by theremovable filter cotton 50, the flavor of the smoke is improved, and the impact of thecigarette 1 to the human body is reduced, improving the recreational effect. - Also, the
mouthpiece 10, thefilter 20, theconnection member 30, and thecigarette seat 40 of thecigarette filter 100 of the present invention can be washed after use. The reusable nature assures the environmental friendly design. - Although particular embodiments of the invention have been described in detail for purposes of illustration, various modifications and enhancements may be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention. Accordingly, the invention is not to be limited except as by the appended claims.
Claims (10)
1. A cigarette filter, comprising:
a mouthpiece comprising a mouth held portion and a connection portion in opposite to the mouthpiece portion, with an air duct passing through the mouth held portion and the connection portion, the mouth held portion applied for contacting a mouth of a user;
a filter combined with the connection portion of the mouthpiece, the filter comprising a first containing space and a second containing space that are connected, the first containing space further connected with the air duct;
a connection member comprising a first connection portion and a second connection portion in opposite to the connection member, the first connection portion disposed in the second containing space, the second connection portion disposed out of the second containing space;
a cigarette seat fastened with the second connection portion of the connection member, the cigarette seat receiving a cigarette; and
a removable filter cotton disposed between the air duct of the mouthpiece and the first containing space of the filter, the removable filter cotton formed of a porous material and absorbing an oil liquid.
2. The cigarette filter of claim 1 , wherein the filter comprises a division member; the division member divides an inner portion of the filter into the first containing space and the second containing space.
3. The cigarette filter of claim 2 , wherein the division member comprises a plurality of through holes; each through hole connects the first containing space and the second containing space.

The cigarette filter of claim 1 , wherein the filter comprises a first filter portion and a second filter portion; the first containing space is in the first filter portion; the second containing space is in the second filter portion; the first filter portion is disposed in the connection portion of the mouthpiece.
5. The cigarette filter of claim 4 , wherein an outer diameter of the first filter portion is smaller than an outer diameter of the second filter portion.
6. The cigarette filter of claim 1 , wherein the oil liquid is an organic compound.
7. The cigarette filter of claim 6 , wherein the oil liquid is selected from a group consisting of terpene, linalool, and myrcene.
8. The cigarette filter of claim 1 , further comprising two washers that are spaced with each other and mounted around the first connection portion of the connection member.
9. The cigarette filter of claim 1 , wherein a bore channel passes through the first connection portion and the second connection portion; the bore channel connects the filter and the cigarette seat.
10. The cigarette filter of claim 1 , wherein the mouthpiece is formed of an eco-friendly resin material; the filter is formed of an eco-friendly resin material; the connection member is formed of a metal material; and the cigarette seat is formed of a metal material.
