Description

    BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention
  • The present invention relates to an atomizing cooling structure attachable to an umbrella, and particularly to an atomizing cooling structure attachable to any umbrella that may be attached to an umbrella and produce water mist for providing cooling effect on hot summer days.
  • 2. Description of Related Art
  • The world is getting intolerably hot under the impact of global climate change. Although air conditioning systems may be used to provide indoor cooling, outdoor sun exposure without the protection of any cooling device may cause discomfort or even heatstroke. It is common practice to use an umbrella to block sunlight and to carry a cooling packet or a portable fan or to wear a cooling neckerchief to provide cooling effect. But existing cooling packets may only be placed in the pocket or held in the hand for providing cooling effect with close contact to the skin; they also have the disadvantage of short use time. Portable fans, on the other hand, may not be carried around as easily; besides, they may easily get lost and do not provide satisfying effect.
  • In view of this, after laborious research and experiments, the applicant has devised an atomizing cooling structure attachable to an umbrella that may be attached to an umbrella and produce water mist for providing cooling effect on hot summer days.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • It is a primary objective of the present invention to provide an atomizing cooling structure attachable to an umbrella that may be attached to any umbrella and produce water mist for providing cooling effect on hot summer days.
  • A foregoing atomizing cooling structure attachable to an umbrella comprises a main body therein are disposed a holding tank and a water storage tank segmented from each other, wherein in the holding tank are disposed a control circuit and an ultrasonic oscillating element which extends to the water storage tank with an absorptive bar and corresponds to a release vent disposed in the holding tank. When in use, the main body is clamped onto an umbrella rib of an umbrella or any position below an umbrella canopy. After the control circuit is turned on, the absorptive bar picks up water from the water storage tank, which is oscillated by the ultrasonic oscillating element and turned into water mist to be released from the release vent and float beneath the umbrella for providing cooling effect on hot summer days.
  • A foregoing atomizing cooling structure attachable to an umbrella, wherein the main body may be disposed as an animal, a cartoon figure, a doll or any other design.
  • A foregoing atomizing cooling structure attachable to an umbrella, wherein beneath the release vent of the holding tank is disposed a bushing for the ultrasonic oscillating element to be sheathed into the bushing to correspond to the release vent.
  • A foregoing atomizing cooling structure attachable to an umbrella, wherein in the water storage tank in the main body is disposed an injection hole for water injection.
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
  • FIG. 1 is a three-dimensional view of the present invention;
  • FIG. 2 is a cut-away view of the present invention;
  • FIG. 3 is a drawing of the present invention in use;
  • FIG. 4 is a drawing of the present invention in operation;
  • FIG. 5 is another drawing of the present invention in use.
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
  • Please refer to FIG. 1 and FIG. 2, showing respectively a three-dimensional view and a cut-away view of the present invention. As the figures show, the present invention comprises a main body 1 therein are disposed a holding tank 11 and a water storage tank 12 segmented from each other. At an appropriate position on the holding tank 11 is disposed a release vent 111 and beneath the release vent 111 is disposed a bushing 112. In the holding tank 11 is also disposed a control circuit 2 which is connected to an ultrasonic oscillating element 3 and a switch 4. The ultrasonic oscillating element 3 is sheathed into the bushing 112 to correspond to the release vent 111, while the switch 4 protrudes from an appropriate position on the holding tank 11.
  • In the ultrasonic oscillating element 3 is disposed an absorptive bar 31 which extends to the water storage tank 12 for picking up water from the water storage tank 12 to the ultrasonic oscillating element 3 when the ultrasonic oscillating element 3 operates.
  • A foregoing main body 1 may be disposed as an animal, a cartoon figure, a doll or any other design. In the present embodiment, the main body 1 is disposed as a whale.
  • The water storage tank 12 is provided for storing an appropriate amount of water, at an appropriate position therein is disposed an injection hole 121 for water injection. In the injection hole 121 is inserted a soft plug 122.
  • The foregoing components are combined to form an atomizing cooling structure attachable to an umbrella. When in use, the main body 1 is clamped onto an umbrella rib of an umbrella or any position below an umbrella canopy. After the control circuit 2 is turned on through the switch 4, the absorptive bar 31 picks up water from the water storage tank 12, which is oscillated by the ultrasonic oscillating element 3 and turned into water mist to be released from the release vent 111 and float beneath the umbrella for providing cooling effect on hot summer days.
  • Please refer both to FIG. 3 and FIG. 4, showing respectively a drawing of the present invention in use and a drawing of the present invention in operation. Please also refer to FIG. 1 and FIG. 2. As the figures show, when using the present invention, first inject an appropriate amount of water into the water storage tank 12 through the injection hole 121. Then clamp the main body 1 onto an umbrella rib 51 of an umbrella 5 or any position below an umbrella canopy 52 (in the present embodiment, the present invention is hooked or wrapped onto the umbrella rib 51 by its tail which is made of a flexible material, but the present invention may also be clamped by various other means). Turn on the control circuit 2 through the switch 4 to make the absorptive bar 31 pick up water from the water storage tank 12, which is oscillated by the ultrasonic oscillating element 3 and turned into water mist to be released from the release vent 111 and float beneath the umbrella 5 for providing cooling effect on hot summer days.
  • Please refer to FIG. 5, showing another drawing of the present invention in use. Please also refer to FIG. 2. As the figures show, besides being clamped onto an umbrella for providing cooling effect in cooperation with the umbrella on hot summer days, the present invention may also be placed on a table surface. After the switch 4 is turned on, the absorptive bar 31 picks up water from the water storage tank 12, which is oscillated by the ultrasonic oscillating element 3 and turned into water mist to be released from the release vent 111 and float in its surroundings for providing humidifying effect when the air is too dry.
  • The foregoing preferred embodiments of the present invention are illustrated of the present invention rather than limiting of the present invention. They are intended to cover various modifications and changes included within the spirit and scope of the appended claims, the scope of which should be accorded the broadest interpretation so as to encompass all such modifications and similar structures.
  • In view of the foregoing considerations, the present invention relates to an atomizing cooling structure attachable to an umbrella, wherein in the main body are disposed a holding tank for storing an ultrasonic oscillating element and a water storage tank for storing water. The present invention may be attached to any umbrella and produce water mist for providing cooling effect on hot summer days.
