FIGS. 1 through 7 thereof, a new seat device embodying the principles and concepts of an embodiment of the disclosure and generally designated by thereference numeral 10 will be described. - As best illustrated in
FIGS. 1 through 7 , thetoilet seat assembly 10 generally comprises aseat 12 is positionable on atoilet bowl 14 of atoilet 16 for having auser 17 sit thereon. Thetoilet 16 may be a plumbed fixture of any conventional design such as residential toilets or the like. Theseat 12 has a concave profile such that theseat 12 spreads the user'sbuttocks 18 when theuser 17 sits on theseat 12. In this way theseat 12 enhances sanitary conditions for theuser 17 when theuser 17 defecates. - The
seat 12 has afirst end 19, asecond end 20, atop surface 22 and abottom surface 24. Theseat 12 has acurved portion 26 extending between a pair ofstraight portions 28. Additionally, thecurved portion 26 is centrally positioned between thefirst end 19 and thesecond end 20 having thefirst end 19 being spaced from thesecond end 20 such that theseat 12 has a U shape. Theseat 12 has aninner edge 30 defining aslot 32 extending between thestraight portions 28. Theinner edge 30 has arounded section 34 defining ahole 36 that is aligned with thecurved portion 26 to accommodate feces when theuser 17 sits on theseat 12 to defecate. Additionally, thetop surface 22 is concavely arcuate with respect to thebottom surface 24. - The
bottom surface 24 has a pair ofridges 38 each extending downwardly therefrom and each of theridges 38 is positioned on a respective one of thestraight portions 28. Each of theridges 38 extends from theinner edge 30 toward thecurved portion 26 of theseat 12. Moreover, each of theridges 38 curves outwardly from theslot 32 such that each of theridges 38 defines an ovoid shape. Thebottom surface 24 has aprominence 40 extending downwardly therefrom and theprominence 40 extends around theslot 32. Theprominence 40 has an outer edge 42 that is spaced from each of theridges 38 thereby defining abowl space 44 between theprominence 40 and theridges 38. Thus, thebowl space 44 receives atop edge 46 of thetoilet bowl 14 thereby inhibiting theseat 12 from sliding on thetoilet bowl 14. - A

In this way theseat 12 is secured to thetoilet bowl 14 thereby ensuring theseat 12 does not move or displace when theuser 17 sits on theseat 12. Moreover, the concavetop surface 22 of theseat 12 not only enhances blood flow in the user'slegs 92 when theuser 17 sits on theseat 12, theseat 12 also spreads the user'sbuttocks 18 to enhance cleanliness when theuser 17 defecates. Thecover 82 can be positioned in the deployed position when thetoilet 16 is not being employed and thecover 82 can be positioned in the stored position to facilitate thetoilet 16 to be employed. - With respect to the above description then, it is to be realized that the optimum dimensional relationships for the parts of an embodiment enabled by the disclosure, to include variations in size, materials, shape, form, function and manner of operation, assembly and use, are deemed readily apparent and obvious to one skilled in the art, and all equivalent relationships to those illustrated in the drawings and described in the specification are intended to be encompassed by an embodiment of the disclosure.
- Therefore, the foregoing is considered as illustrative only of the principles of the disclosure. Further, since numerous modifications and changes will readily occur to those skilled in the art, it is not desired to limit the disclosure to the exact construction and operation shown and described, and accordingly, all suitable modifications and equivalents may be resorted to, falling within the scope of the disclosure. In this patent document, the word “comprising” is used in its non-limiting sense to mean that items following the word are included, but items not specifically mentioned are not excluded. A reference to an element by the indefinite article “a” does not exclude the possibility that more than one of the element is present, unless the context clearly requires that there be only one of the elements.
