Abstract

A toothbrush cover includes a shell body having a first opening formed on an end thereof and configured to provide a toothbrush to mount into the shell body therethrough; a press strip disposed on a top of the shell body and having an end disposed on an upper edge of the first opening, and other end extended and drooped downwardly into the shell body and configured to hold down the toothbrush. When the toothbrush is covered by the toothbrush cover, a brush handle of the toothbrush faces the top of the shell body and upwardly pushes the drooped press strip, so that a downward force of the press strip can hold down the toothbrush to fasten a brush head of the toothbrush in the shell body, thereby preventing bristles of the toothbrush from separating out of the toothbrush cover and being dirtied.

Description

  • This application claims priority for Chinese patent application no. 202010613886.2 filed on 30 Jun. 2020, the content of which is incorporated by reference in its entirely.
  • BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION Field of the Invention
  • The present invention relates to a technical field of daily commodity, and more particularly to, a toothbrush cover which can protect bristles of a toothbrush.
  • Description of the Prior Art
  • A toothbrush is an oral cleaning product, which has bristles disposed on a head of a brush handle. When using the toothbrush, a user can add toothpaste on the bristles and then brush parts of teeth. For the user, objects entering the mouth need to be kept clean to prevent disease from entering through mouth, so the toothbrush must also be kept in a clean state.
  • In recent years, dust in the air is increasing day by day, but the existing toothbrushes are usually placed in an open status without being protected from dust, so the dust protection for the brush head of the toothbrush is very important in order to prevent the dust stuck to the brush head of the toothbrush from directly entering the mouth. Furthermore, when the toothbrush is carried out of the door and placed in a bag, the bristles of the toothbrush are easy to get dust or dirt, or even be crushed and deformed if there is no cover to protect the bristles. Therefore, a toothbrush cover is needed to prevent dust from accumulating in the brush head of the toothbrush and to prevent crushing and deformation of the bristles. Furthermore, since the frequency of use of the toothbrush is very high, bacteria in the oral cavity are likely to remain on the brush head of the toothbrush. Furthermore, the toothbrush is usually placed in the bathroom or kitchen where is relatively easy to breed bacteria, and it is also easy to accelerate the growth of bacteria on the toothbrush, so the toothbrush cover is usually also provided with an opening for ventilation.
  • However, the conventional toothbrush covers are often only adapted to toothbrushes of special specifications, and unable to mount the toothbrush heads with too large sizes. On the other hand, the toothbrush with a too small head is easily depart from the conventional toothbrush cover, and it is quite inconvenient for the user.
  • In view of this, the present invention proposes a toothbrush cover to effectively solve the above-mentioned conventional problems and satisfy future needs. The particular architecture and implementation of the proposed toothbrush cover will be described in following paragraphs.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • An objective of the present invention is to provide a toothbrush cover, and the toothbrush cover includes a press strip disposed on a shell body of the toothbrush cover; when the toothbrush is covered by the toothbrush cover, the press strip can provide the effect of fastening the toothbrush and preventing the toothbrush from falling out of the toothbrush cover.
  • Another objective of the present invention is to provide a toothbrush cover having strip-shaped leg parts and the press strip, so that the toothbrush can be fastened tightly with the toothbrush cover, and the toothbrush cover can have more flexibility in space to adapt various toothbrushes having different sizes.
  • Another objective of the present invention is to provide a toothbrush cover, and a plurality of leg parts on two sides of the shell body of the toothbrush cover are inwardly inclined and configured to clip the toothbrush, thereby preventing the toothbrush cover from slipping out.
  • In order to achieve the aforementioned objectives, the present invention provides a toothbrush cover including a shell body and a press strip. The shell body has a first opening formed on an end thereof, and the first opening is configured to provide a toothbrush to mount into the shell body therethrough. The press strip is disposed on the shell body, and has an end disposed on an upper edge of the first opening and other end extended and drooped downwardly into the shell body and configured to hold down the toothbrush.
  • According to an embodiment of the present invention, the shell body has a second opening formed on a top thereof, and the press strip is drooped into the shell body along a length direction of the second opening.
  • According to an embodiment of the present invention, the shell body includes a plurality of leg parts disposed on two sides thereof, respectively, and the plurality of leg parts are upwardly extended from bottoms of two sides of the shell body and inwardly bent to the second opening at the top of the shell body.
  • According to an embodiment of the present invention, a gap is formed between the adjacent two of the plurality of leg parts at the same side of the shell body.
  • According to an embodiment of the present invention, the shell body has an accommodation space formed in the inside thereof and configured to accommodate bristles of the toothbrush and a front section of a brush handle of the toothbrush.
  • According to an embodiment of the present invention, the shell body has at least one through hole formed on other end, opposite to the first opening, thereof.
  • According to an embodiment of the present invention, each of the plurality of leg parts has a fastening part formed on a middle section thereof and protruded toward the inside of the shell body, and the fastening parts are configured to fasten the toothbrush.
  • According to an embodiment of the present invention, each of the plurality of leg parts has a portion located on the side of the shell body and inclined toward the inside of the shell body, and configured to clip the toothbrush.

  • DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
  • The present invention provides a toothbrush cover for protecting bristles on a header of a toothbrush, so as to prevent the bristles from contacting with and being polluted by other object when a user carries the toothbrush, and also prevent the bristles from being crushed and deformed.
  • Please refer to FIGS. 1 and 2, which are a perspective view and a schematic cross section view of a toothbrush cover of the present invention, respectively.
  • The toothbrush cover 10 includes a shell body 12 having an accommodation space 24 formed in the inside thereof, and the shell body 12 has a first opening 14 formed on an end thereof and configured to provide a toothbrush to mount into the accommodation space 24 of the shell body 12 therethrough. For example, the shell body 12 can be, but not limited to, made by plastic material or other flexible material. The shell body 12 has a second opening 22 formed and a press strip 16 disposed on a top thereof. The press strip 16 has an end disposed on an upper edge of the first opening 14, and other end extended toward the second opening 22; in this embodiment, the end of the press strip 16 is a fixed end disposed on an upper edge of the first opening 14, and other end of the press strip 16 is a free end which is elastically movable. Furthermore, the press strip 16 is downwardly drooped into the shell body 12 along a length direction of the second opening 22. The drooped press strip 16 can hold down a brush handle of the toothbrush by an elastic deformation force thereof. The shell body 12 has a plurality of leg parts 18 disposed on two sides thereof, respectively, the plurality of leg parts 18 are upwardly extended from bottoms of two sides of the shell body 12, and inwardly bent into the second opening 22 from the top of the shell body 12.
  • Each of the plurality of leg parts 18 has a portion located on the side of the shell body 12 and inclined toward the inside of the shell body 12, so that the whole shell body 12 is in an inwardly-retracted shape to clip the toothbrush, and the press strip 16 can further apply force to fasten the toothbrush from above.
  • Furthermore, as shown in FIG. 2, each of the plurality of leg parts 18 has a fastening part 26 disposed on a middle section thereof and protruded toward the inside of the shell body 12, and configured to fasten the toothbrush; for example, the fastening parts 26 can be abutted with the brush handle or the bristles of the toothbrush, so as to fasten the toothbrush from sides.
  • In the present invention, a gap 20 is formed between the adjacent two of the plurality of leg parts 18 on the same side of the shell body 12, so that the side of the shell body 12 looks like to have railings. This configuration of the gaps can make the leg parts 18 more elastic to provide a wider toothbrush to mount into the accommodation space 24, and also improve a ventilation effect of the accommodation space 24 to prevent the toothbrush from being damp.
  • The shell body 12 has at least one through hole 23 formed on other end, opposite to the first opening 14, thereof, so as to improve ventilation effect; when a damp toothbrush is mounted into the toothbrush cover, the gaps 20 between the leg parts 18, the through hole 23 and the second opening 22 can facilitate to circulate air through the accommodation space 24 to speed up a toothbrush drying process, so as to prevent the toothbrush from being mounted in the unventilated shell body to breed bacteria and mold.
  • Please refer to FIG. 3, which is a side sectional view of a toothbrush cover of the present invention. As shown in FIG. 3, when no toothbrush is mounted into the toothbrush cover 10, the press strip 16 droops and is in an original molded shape; when the press strip 16 is upwardly pushed to elastically deform by the toothbrush, as shown in FIG. 4, the accommodation space 24 inside the shell body 12 can accommodate the bristles and the brush handle of the brush head of the toothbrush, and when being pushed upwardly, the press strip 16 generates a restoring force to downwardly press. Therefore, after the toothbrush 30 is mounted into the toothbrush cover 10 of the present invention, the bristles 34 of the toothbrush 30 contact a bottom of the shell body 12, and the brush handle 32 of the toothbrush 30 is held downed by the press strip 16.
  • In the embodiment shown in FIG. 4, the fastening parts 26 can fasten the bristles of the toothbrush 30 from sides; however, in other embodiment, the fastening parts 26 can be upwardly moved to dispose on higher positions, so as to fasten the brush handle 32 of the toothbrush 30 from sides.
  • According to above-mentioned contents, in the toothbrush cover of the present invention, the shell body has an opening formed thereon and configured to provide the toothbrush to mount into the shell body therethrough, and the shell body also has the press strip extended inwardly from the upper part of the opening, and after the toothbrush is mounted into the shell body, the press strip applies a downward force to hold down the toothbrush, thereby achieving a better fastening effect. Furthermore, the toothbrush cover of the present invention is provided with the press strip, so the leg parts on two sides of the shell body can have more elastic spaces, and even if the forces applied to clip two sides of the toothbrush is smaller, the press strip can fasten the toothbrush from above, thereby preventing the toothbrush cover from separating from the toothbrush; Furthermore, the toothbrush cover of the present invention has better compatibility to accommodate various toothbrushes having different sizes.

Claims (8)

What is claimed is:
1. A toothbrush cover, comprising:
a shell body having a first opening formed on an end thereof, wherein the first opening is configured to provide a toothbrush to mount into the shell body therethrough; and
a press strip disposed on the shell body, wherein the press strip has an end disposed on an upper edge of the first opening, and other end extended and drooped downwardly into the shell body and configured to hold down the toothbrush.
2. The toothbrush cover according to claim 1, wherein the shell body has a second opening formed on a top thereof, and the press strip is drooped into the shell body along a length direction of the second opening.
3. The toothbrush cover according to claim 2, wherein the shell body comprises a plurality of leg parts disposed on two sides thereof, respectively, and the plurality of leg parts are upwardly extended from bottoms of two sides of the shell body and inwardly bent to the second opening at the top of the shell body.
4. The toothbrush cover according to claim 3, wherein a gap is formed between the adjacent two of the plurality of leg parts at the same side of the shell body.
5. The toothbrush cover according to claim 1, wherein the shell body has an accommodation space formed in the inside thereof and configured to accommodate bristles of the toothbrush and a front section of a brush handle of the toothbrush.
6. The toothbrush cover according to claim 1, wherein the shell body has at least one through hole formed on other end, opposite to the first opening, thereof.
7. The toothbrush cover according to claim 3, wherein each of the plurality of leg parts has a fastening part formed on a middle section thereof and protruded toward the inside of the shell body, and the fastening parts are configured to fasten the toothbrush.
8. The toothbrush cover according to claim 3, wherein each of the plurality of leg parts has a portion located on the side of the shell body and inclined toward the inside of the shell body, and configured to clip the toothbrush.
