Abstract

A wheeled workout handle apparatus for a portable, full body workout includes a base comprising a pair of side bars and a cross bar extending between the pair of side bars. A handle has a pair of vertical portions coupled to a top side of the pair of side bars and a horizontal portion extending between the pair of vertical portions. The handle is configured to be gripped on the horizontal portion by a user or to receive a user's foot in the area between the cross bar and the handle. A plurality of wheels is coupled to a bottom side of the pair of side bars.

The disclosure and prior art relates to workout apparatus and more particularly pertains to a new workout apparatus for a portable, full body workout.

BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

An embodiment of the disclosure meets the needs presented above by generally comprising a base comprising a pair of side bars and a cross bar extending between the pair of side bars. A handle has a pair of vertical portions coupled to a top side of the pair of side bars and a horizontal portion extending between the pair of vertical portions. The handle is configured to be gripped on the horizontal portion by a user or to receive a user's foot in the area between the cross bar and the handle. A plurality of wheels is coupled to a bottom side of the pair of side bars.
There has thus been outlined, rather broadly, the more important features of the disclosure in order that the detailed description thereof that follows may be better understood, and in order that the present contribution to the art may be better appreciated. There are additional features of the disclosure that will be described hereinafter and which will form the subject matter of the claims appended hereto.
The objects of the disclosure, along with the various features of novelty which characterize the disclosure, are pointed out with particularity in the claims annexed to and forming a part of this disclosure.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

With reference now to the drawings, and in particular to FIGS. 1 through 6 thereof, a new workout apparatus embodying the principles and concepts of an embodiment of the disclosure and generally designated by the reference numeral 10 will be described.
As best illustrated in FIGS. 1 through 6, the wheeled workout handle apparatus 10 generally comprises a base 12 comprising a pair of side bars 14 and a cross bar 16 perpendicularly extending between the pair of side bars 14 such that each side bar lies along parallel axes. Each of the side bars 14 has rounded ends 18. A handle 20 is coupled to the base 12 and has a pair of vertical portions 22 coupled to a top side 24 of the pair of side bars 14 and a horizontal portion 26 extending between the pair of vertical portions 22. The handle 20 is rounded between each of the vertical portions 22 and the horizontal portion 26. The handle 20 is configured to be gripped on the horizontal portion 26 by a user or to receive a user's foot in the area between the cross bar 16 and the handle 20. A grip 28 is coupled to the handle 20 around the horizontal portion 26 for improved comfort and to reduce slippage.
A plurality of wheels 30 is coupled to the base 12 to allow the user to perform dynamic exercises. Each of the wheels 30 may have a round attachment hub 32 comprising an upper platform 34 coupled to a bottom side 36 of the side bar 14 and a lower platform 38 rotatably coupled to the upper platform 34. The wheel 30 has a pair of forks 40 extending from the lower platform 38 and a tire 42 rotatably coupled between the pair of forks 40. The plurality of wheels 30 may alternatively be fixed oriented along axes parallel with the axes of the side bars or along axes perpendicular to the axes of the side bars.
In use, the user secures one or a pair of the apparatus 10 by the grip 28 to perform upper body exercises such as pushups and planks and may utilize the plurality of wheels 30 to introduce dynamic variations. The user may alternatively place her feet on the cross bar 16 beneath the handle 20 to perform exercises such as lunges, mountain climbers, or others that involve moving the feet.
With respect to the above description then, it is to be realized that the optimum dimensional relationships for the parts of an embodiment enabled by the disclosure, to include variations in size, materials, shape, form, function and manner of operation, assembly and use, are deemed readily apparent and obvious to one skilled in the art, and all equivalent relationships to those illustrated in the drawings and described in the specification are intended to be encompassed by an embodiment of the disclosure.
Therefore, the foregoing is considered as illustrative only of the principles of the disclosure. Further, since numerous modifications and changes will readily occur to those skilled in the art, it is not desired to limit the disclosure to the exact construction and operation shown and described, and accordingly, all suitable modifications and equivalents may be resorted to, falling within the scope of the disclosure. In this patent document, the word “comprising” is used in its non-limiting sense to mean that items following the word are included, but items not specifically mentioned are not excluded. A reference to an element by the indefinite article “a” does not exclude the possibility that more than one of the element is present, unless the context clearly requires that there be only one of the elements.

Claims

I claim:

1. A wheeled workout handle apparatus comprising:

a base comprising a pair of side bars and a cross bar extending between the pair of side bars;

a handle coupled to the base, the handle having a pair of vertical portions coupled to a top side of the pair of side bars and a horizontal portion extending between the pair of vertical portions, the handle being configured to be gripped on the horizontal portion by a user or to receive a user's foot in the area between the cross bar and the handle; and

a plurality of wheels coupled to the base, the plurality of wheels being coupled to a bottom side of the pair of side bars.

2. The wheeled workout handle apparatus of claim 1 further comprising each of the side bars having rounded ends, the plurality of wheels being four wheels coupled adjacent the rounded ends.

3. The wheeled workout handle apparatus of claim 1 further comprising the cross bar perpendicularly extending between the pair of side bars such that each side bar lies along parallel axes.

4. The wheeled workout handle apparatus of claim 3 further comprising the plurality of wheels being oriented along axes parallel with the axes of the side bars.

5. The wheeled workout handle apparatus of claim 3 further comprising the plurality of wheels being oriented along axes perpendicular with the axes of the side bars.

6. The wheeled workout handle apparatus of claim 3 further comprising the plurality of wheels being rotatable.

7. The wheeled workout handle apparatus of claim 1 further comprising a grip coupled to the handle, the grip being coupled around the horizontal portion.

8. The wheeled workout handle apparatus of claim 1 further comprising the handle being rounded between each of the vertical portions and the horizontal portion.

9. The wheeled workout handle apparatus of claim 1 further comprising each of the wheels having a round attachment hub, the attachment hub having an upper platform coupled to the side bar and a lower platform rotatably coupled to the upper platform, the wheel having a pair of forks extending from the lower platform and a tire rotatably coupled between the pair of forks.

10. A wheeled workout handle apparatus comprising:

a base comprising a pair of side bars and a cross bar perpendicularly extending between the pair of side bars such that each side bar lies along parallel axes, each of the side bars having rounded ends;

a handle coupled to the base, the handle having a pair of vertical portions coupled to a top side of the pair of side bars and a horizontal portion extending between the pair of vertical portions, the handle being rounded between each of the vertical portions and the horizontal portion, the handle being configured to be gripped on the horizontal portion by a user or to receive a user's foot in the area between the cross bar and the handle;

a grip coupled to the handle, the grip being coupled around the horizontal portion; and

a plurality of wheels coupled to the base, each of the wheels having a round attachment hub, the attachment hub having an upper platform coupled to a bottom side of the side bar and a lower platform rotatably coupled to the upper platform, the wheel having a pair of forks extending from the lower platform and a tire rotatably coupled between the pair of forks.
