- The disclosure and prior art relates to workout apparatus and more particularly pertains to a new workout apparatus for a portable, full body workout.
- An embodiment of the disclosure meets the needs presented above by generally comprising a base comprising a pair of side bars and a cross bar extending between the pair of side bars. A handle has a pair of vertical portions coupled to a top side of the pair of side bars and a horizontal portion extending between the pair of vertical portions. The handle is configured to be gripped on the horizontal portion by a user or to receive a user's foot in the area between the cross bar and the handle. A plurality of wheels is coupled to a bottom side of the pair of side bars.
- There has thus been outlined, rather broadly, the more important features of the disclosure in order that the detailed description thereof that follows may be better understood, and in order that the present contribution to the art may be better appreciated. There are additional features of the disclosure that will be described hereinafter and which will form the subject matter of the claims appended hereto.
- The objects of the disclosure, along with the various features of novelty which characterize the disclosure, are pointed out with particularity in the claims annexed to and forming a part of this disclosure.
- The disclosure will be better understood and objects other than those set forth above will become apparent when consideration is given to the following detailed description thereof. Such description makes reference to the annexed drawings wherein:
-
FIG. 1 is an isometric view of a wheeled workout handle apparatus according to an embodiment of the disclosure. -
FIG. 2 is a bottom plan view of an embodiment of the disclosure. -
FIG. 3 is a side elevation view of an embodiment of the disclosure. -
FIG. 4 is a front elevation view of an embodiment of the disclosure. -
FIG. 5 is an in-use view of an embodiment of the disclosure. -
FIG. 6 is an in-use view of an embodiment of the disclosure. - With reference now to the drawings, and in particular to
FIGS. 1 through 6 thereof, a new workout apparatus embodying the principles and concepts of an embodiment of the disclosure and generally designated by thereference numeral 10 will be described. - As best illustrated in
FIGS. 1 through 6 , the wheeledworkout handle apparatus 10 generally comprises abase 12 comprising a pair ofside bars 14 and across bar 16 perpendicularly extending between the pair ofside bars 14 such that each side bar lies along parallel axes. Each of theside bars 14 hasrounded ends 18. Ahandle 20 is coupled to thebase 12 and has a pair ofvertical portions 22 coupled to atop side 24 of the pair ofside bars 14 and ahorizontal portion 26 extending between the pair ofvertical portions 22. Thehandle 20 is rounded between each of thevertical portions 22 and thehorizontal portion 26. Thehandle 20 is configured to be gripped on thehorizontal portion 26 by a user or to receive a user's foot in the area between thecross bar 16 and thehandle 20. Agrip 28 is coupled to thehandle 20 around thehorizontal portion 26 for improved comfort and to reduce slippage. - A plurality of
wheels 30 is coupled to thebase 12 to allow the user to perform dynamic exercises. Each of thewheels 30 may have around attachment hub 32 comprising anupper platform 34 coupled to abottom side 36 of theside bar 14 and alower platform 38 rotatably coupled to theupper platform 34. Thewheel 30 has a pair offorks 40 extending from thelower platform 38 and atire 42 rotatably coupled between the pair offorks 40. The plurality ofwheels 30 may alternatively be fixed oriented along axes parallel with the axes of the side bars or along axes perpendicular to the axes of the side bars. - In use, the user secures one or a pair of the
apparatus 10 by thegrip 28 to perform upper body exercises such as pushups and planks and may utilize the plurality ofwheels 30 to introduce dynamic variations. The user may alternatively place her feet on thecross bar 16 beneath thehandle 20 to perform exercises such as lunges, mountain climbers, or others that involve moving the feet. - With respect to the above description then, it is to be realized that the optimum dimensional relationships for the parts of an embodiment enabled by the disclosure, to include variations in size, materials, shape, form, function and manner of operation, assembly and use, are deemed readily apparent and obvious to one skilled in the art, and all equivalent relationships to those illustrated in the drawings and described in the specification are intended to be encompassed by an embodiment of the disclosure.
- Therefore, the foregoing is considered as illustrative only of the principles of the disclosure. Further, since numerous modifications and changes will readily occur to those skilled in the art, it is not desired to limit the disclosure to the exact construction and operation shown and described, and accordingly, all suitable modifications and equivalents may be resorted to, falling within the scope of the disclosure. In this patent document, the word “comprising” is used in its non-limiting sense to mean that items following the word are included, but items not specifically mentioned are not excluded. A reference to an element by the indefinite article “a” does not exclude the possibility that more than one of the element is present, unless the context clearly requires that there be only one of the elements.
