Abstract
Description
- The present invention relates to headwear technology and more particularly, to a diversified head wear ornament, which can be worn on the user's head and can be changed according to the nature of different activities, occasions and festivals.
- At present, many activities, such as sports competitions, Christmas, Thanksgiving, Halloween, birthday parties and the days to be celebrated, most people will wear ornamental accessories that match the sport or festival nature and dress themselves up to enhance the fun and to increase the atmosphere of joy.
- Most of the traditional dressing accessories are worn with wigs or headscarves on the top of the head, or headband with fixed accessories on the head to achieve the desired dress. However, a wig is not easy to obtain, and its price is high. Further, the use of a headscarf for dressing the head is not dazzling, and the use of a headband type ornament is monotonous and less attractive. Further, in order to match different sports competitions and festival activities, it is necessary to purchase headband-type ornaments with various representative ornaments, which will cost more money and require more space for storage.
- The present invention has been accomplished under the circumstances in view. It is one object of the present invention to provide a diversified head wear ornament, which can be worn on the user's head and can be changed according to the nature of sports competitions, different activities and festivals.
- It is another object of the present invention to provide a diversified head wear ornament, which can be fastened to a cap, a sun visor or a pair of eyeglasses, greatly improving the practicality of the product.
- To achieve these and other objects of the present invention, a diversified head wear ornament includes a wearing member having an arched elastomer made in the form of a headband and an outer fabric layer covered on the arched elastomer, and one or two ornamental members detachably fastened to the wearing member. Each ornamental member includes a mount, an ornament, a pivoting device connected between the ornament and the mount for allowing adjustment of the angular position of the ornament relative to the mount, and a fastener provided at the opposing bottom side of the mount for fastening the mount to the wearing member.
- Other advantages and features of the present invention will be fully understood by reference to the following specification in junction with the accompanying drawings, in which like reference signs denote like components of structure.

The diversified head wear ornament comprises a wearing member (1) and at least one, for example, two ornamental members (2) detachably fastened to the wearing member (1). The wearing member (1) comprises an arched elastomer (11) in the form of a headband, and an outer fabric layer (12) covering the arched elastomer (11). Each ornamental member (2) comprises a mount (21), an ornament (23), a pivoting device (24) connected between a bottom side of the ornament (23) and a top side of the mount (21) for allowing adjustment of the angular position of the ornament (23) relative to the mount (21) and a fastener (22) provided at an opposing bottom side of the mount (21) for securing the mount (21) to the wearing member (1). The fastener (22) can be, but not limited to, a clamp. The ornamental members (2) can be variously shaped (see alsoFIG. 3 ). - Referring to
FIGS. 3A and 3B , in this alternate form, the ornament (23′) is a bows-tie fastened to the mount (21); the wearing member (1′) is an elastic band that can be fastened to the user's head or arm; the fastener (22) is a clamp for securing the mount (21) to the wearing member (1′). - In the alternate form shown in
FIGS. 3C and 3D , the ornament (23″) has the configuration of a bat; the wearing member (1″) is an elastic band (11″) that can be fastened to the user's head or arm; the fastener (22) is a clamp for securing the mount (21) to the wearing member (1″). - In the alternate form shown in
FIGS. 3E and 3F , the wearing member (1′″) is a hair clip having an elongated mounting hole (11′″) at one end thereof; the fastener is a T-shaped fastening rod (221) that can be inserted through the elongated mounting hole (11′″) and then rotated through 90° to secure the mount (21) to the wearing member (1′″). - Referring to
FIGS. 4 and 5 , a diversified head wear ornament in accordance with a second embodiment of the present invention is shown. The diversified head wear ornament of this second embodiment comprises a wearing member (1) and at least one, for example, two ornamental members (3) detachably fastened to the wearing member (1). The wearing member (1) comprises an arched elastomer (11) in the form of a headband. Each ornamental member (3) comprises an ornament (33), a mount (31) having a clamping portion (32) provided at a bottom side thereof for fastening to the wearing member (1), and a pivoting device (34) connected between a bottom side of the ornament (33) and a top side of the mount (31) for allowing adjustment of the angular position of the ornament (33) relative to the mount (31). - Referring to
