Description

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention
  • The present invention relates to headwear technology and more particularly, to a diversified head wear ornament, which can be worn on the user's head and can be changed according to the nature of different activities, occasions and festivals.
  • 2. Description of the Related Art
  • At present, many activities, such as sports competitions, Christmas, Thanksgiving, Halloween, birthday parties and the days to be celebrated, most people will wear ornamental accessories that match the sport or festival nature and dress themselves up to enhance the fun and to increase the atmosphere of joy.
  • Most of the traditional dressing accessories are worn with wigs or headscarves on the top of the head, or headband with fixed accessories on the head to achieve the desired dress. However, a wig is not easy to obtain, and its price is high. Further, the use of a headscarf for dressing the head is not dazzling, and the use of a headband type ornament is monotonous and less attractive. Further, in order to match different sports competitions and festival activities, it is necessary to purchase headband-type ornaments with various representative ornaments, which will cost more money and require more space for storage.

It is one object of the present invention to provide a diversified head wear ornament, which can be worn on the user's head and can be changed according to the nature of sports competitions, different activities and festivals.
  • It is another object of the present invention to provide a diversified head wear ornament, which can be fastened to a cap, a sun visor or a pair of eyeglasses, greatly improving the practicality of the product.
  • To achieve these and other objects of the present invention, a diversified head wear ornament includes a wearing member having an arched elastomer made in the form of a headband and an outer fabric layer covered on the arched elastomer, and one or two ornamental members detachably fastened to the wearing member. Each ornamental member includes a mount, an ornament, a pivoting device connected between the ornament and the mount for allowing adjustment of the angular position of the ornament relative to the mount, and a fastener provided at the opposing bottom side of the mount for fastening the mount to the wearing member.

The wearing member (1) comprises an arched elastomer (11) in the form of a headband, and an outer fabric layer (12) covering the arched elastomer (11). Each ornamental member (2) comprises a mount (21), an ornament (23), a pivoting device (24) connected between a bottom side of the ornament (23) and a top side of the mount (21) for allowing adjustment of the angular position of the ornament (23) relative to the mount (21) and a fastener (22) provided at an opposing bottom side of the mount (21) for securing the mount (21) to the wearing member (1). The fastener (22) can be, but not limited to, a clamp. The ornamental members (2) can be variously shaped (see also FIG. 3).
  • Referring to FIGS. 3A and 3B, in this alternate form, the ornament (23′) is a bows-tie fastened to the mount (21); the wearing member (1′) is an elastic band that can be fastened to the user's head or arm; the fastener (22) is a clamp for securing the mount (21) to the wearing member (1′).
  • In the alternate form shown in FIGS. 3C and 3D, the ornament (23″) has the configuration of a bat; the wearing member (1″) is an elastic band (11″) that can be fastened to the user's head or arm; the fastener (22) is a clamp for securing the mount (21) to the wearing member (1″).
  • In the alternate form shown in FIGS. 3E and 3F, the wearing member (1′″) is a hair clip having an elongated mounting hole (11′″) at one end thereof; the fastener is a T-shaped fastening rod (221) that can be inserted through the elongated mounting hole (11′″) and then rotated through 90° to secure the mount (21) to the wearing member (1′″).
  • Referring to FIGS. 4 and 5, a diversified head wear ornament in accordance with a second embodiment of the present invention is shown. The diversified head wear ornament of this second embodiment comprises a wearing member (1) and at least one, for example, two ornamental members (3) detachably fastened to the wearing member (1). The wearing member (1) comprises an arched elastomer (11) in the form of a headband. Each ornamental member (3) comprises an ornament (33), a mount (31) having a clamping portion (32) provided at a bottom side thereof for fastening to the wearing member (1), and a pivoting device (34) connected between a bottom side of the ornament (33) and a top side of the mount (31) for allowing adjustment of the angular position of the ornament (33) relative to the mount (31).

The diversified head wear ornament of this third embodiment comprises a wearing member (4) shaped like a headband, a plurality of ornaments (42) fixedly connected to the wearing member (4), and two fasteners, for example, hooks (41) respectively affixed to two opposite ends of the wearing member (4) and respectively defining therein a hook groove (411). The hooks (41) can be fastened to two opposite bottom edges (51) of a cap (5) to secure the wearing member (4) to a top side of the cap (5). Further, two wearing members (4) can be arranged together in a crossed manner for securing to a cap (5) using the hooks (41) (see FIGS. 8 and 9).
  • Further, the wearing member (4) is arch shaped, and selectively made of plastics, metal, or an elastic band material.
  • In the alternate form shown in FIGS. 10 and 11, two wearing members (4) are symmetrically arranged at opposing left and right sides, each having a top side of one end thereof fixedly provided with an ornament (42) and an opposite end thereof connected with a hook (41) using a pivoting member (43). The hook (41) defines therein a hook groove (411). The design of the pivoting member (43) allows angular adjustment of the hook (41) relative to the associating wearing member (4). Through the hooks (41), the two wearing members (4) can be bilaterally fastened to the rim (61) of a sun visor (6) or the frame (71) of a pair of eyeglasses (7) (see FIG. 12).
  • In the embodiment shown in FIG. 13, the fastener (44) is a clip angularly adjustably fastened one end of the wearing member (4) using a pivoting member (43), comprising a curved clamping plate (442), a clamping mouth (441) defining in the curved clamping plate (442) and two opposite clamping tips (443) bilaterally located on a distal end of the clamping plate (442). By means of the fasteners (44), the two wearing members (4) can be respectively fastened to two opposite sides of the rim (61) of a sun visor (6) or the frame (71) of a pair of eyeglasses (7). Further, the wearing member (4′) shown in FIG. 14 is retractable fixedly provided with an ornament (42′), comprising a base strip (45′) that defines thereof a sliding groove (451′) and an extension strip (452′) coupled to the sliding groove (451′) and movable in and out of the base strip (45′).
  • In the embodiment shown in FIGS. 15-17, the fastener (41) at one end of each wearing member (4) is a clip, defining a downward clamping mouth (411). Through the clips, the two wearing members (4) can be respectively fastened to the rim (61) of a sun visor (6) or the frame (71) of a pair of eyeglasses (7) at opposing left and right sides. Further, as shown in FIG. 18, an ear hook (412) is provided at the bottom side of the fastener (41) for hooking on the user's ear.
  • In the embodiment shown in FIG. 19, the ornamental member (2) comprises a mount (21), a nameplate (231) that displays the sign of “ANGELS” and is affixed to a top side of the mount (21), and a fastener (22) made in the form of a clamp and provided at an opposing bottom side of the mount (21).
  • In the embodiment shown in FIG. 20, the diversified head wear ornament comprises a wearing member (4) shaped like a headband, a nameplate (421) that displays the sign of “L A” and is affixed to the wearing member (4), and two fasteners, for example, hooks (41) respectively affixed to two opposite ends of the wearing member (4) and respectively defining therein a hook groove (411).
  • The hooks (41) can be fastened to two opposite bottom edges (51) of a cap (5) to secure the wearing member (4) to a top side of the cap (5). Further, two wearing members (4) can be arranged together in a crossed manner for securing to a cap (5) using the hooks (41) (see FIGS. 8 and 9).
