Abstract

A clothing has a clothing fastening portion that includes the one-side clothing fastening section and the other-side clothing fastening section, each of the two clothing fastening sections including a sequence of a plurality of fastener mounting portions facing opposite each other on which the respective fasteners are to be mounted and wherein the fasteners for the clothing include the respective button-like base portions and the respective sharply protruding sections extending from and through the back sides of the button-like base portions, each of the fastener mounting portions having an insertion hole formed thereon through which the respective sharply protruding section is to be inserted and having the form corresponding to the form in cross section of the sharply protruding section, the sharply protruding section of the fastener mounting portion which is to be inserted through the corresponding insertion hole having the engaging part on the tip end thereof.

Description

BACKGROUND

Technical Field

The present invention relates to a combination of the clothing and the fasteners for the clothing.

Description of the Prior Art

It is known to the prior art that various forms of the combination of the clothing and the fasteners for the clothing have heretofore been proposed. As one example, there is Patent Document 1 in which it is proposed that one pair of button body portions are provided on either side of the clothing so that both of the button body portions can appear outward or on the front side of the clothing and the buttons, the button fastening structure, the clothing and the trousers or pants are designed so that they can be used as the reversible.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

An object of the present invention is to propose a combination of the newly designed clothing and the fasteners for such clothing.
As it is used herein, it should be understood that the term “clothing” means that it includes an article of the clothing such as a kimono, a garment and the like.
In accordance with the present invention, the combination of the clothing and the fasteners for the clothing is provided, wherein the clothing has a clothing fastening portion including the one-side clothing fastening section and the other-side clothing fastening section, the one-side clothing fastening section comprising a sequence of a plurality of the one-side fastener mounting portions and the other-side clothing fastening section comprising a plurality of the other-side fastener mounting portions and wherein the fasteners for the clothing (which hereinafter may be referred to simply as the clothing fastener or fasteners) are to be mounted on the corresponding fastener mounting portions. In its specific form, the combination has the structure that is now described below.
Each of the clothing fasteners includes a button-like base portion having the ornamental surface on the front side thereof and a sharply protruding section extending from and through the back side thereof opposite to the ornamental surface of the button-like base portion.
The one-side clothing fastening section and the other-side clothing fastening section will be fastened together when the clothing is worn on a human body, the one-side clothing fastening section being provided on the end side of the one-side front main section of the clothing and the other-side clothing fastening section being provided on the end side of the other-side front main section of the clothing.
The fastener mounting portions comprise the sequence of the one-side fastener mounting portions provided on the end side of the one-side front main section of the clothing and spaced away from each other at regular intervals in the vertical direction and the sequence of the other-side fastener mounting portions provided on the end side of the other-side front main section of the clothing and spaced away from each other at regular intervals in the vertical direction, the one-side fastener mounting portions having the vertical height, the number of fastener mounting portions and the position between any two adjacent fastener mounting portions that are the same as those of the other-side fastener mounting portions.
Each of the plurality of the one-side fastener mounting portions and each of the plurality of the other-side fastener mounting portions have an insertion hole formed at the center thereof through which the respective sharply protruding section is to be inserted, the insertion hole having the form in cross section that corresponds to that of the sharply protruding section.
Each of the insertion holes formed on each of the plurality of the one-side fastener mounting portions and formed on each of the plurality of the one-side fastener mounting portions and each of the insertion holes formed on each of the plurality of the other-side fastener mounting portions and formed on each of the plurality of the other-side fastener mounting portions have the look or appearance that may be visually perceived as the figures, patterns or ornaments when it is viewed from the front of the clothing.
The sharply protruding section of the clothing fastener that is to be inserted through the insertion hole formed on the corresponding one-side fastener mounting portion and then through the insertion hole formed on the corresponding other-side fastener mounting portion facing opposite that one-side fastener mounting portion and having the same vertical height as that of the insertion hole on that one-side fastener mounting portion has an engaging part at the tip end thereof.
The button-like base portion has an area that is larger than that of the insertion hole on the fastener mounting portion.
The engaging part formed at the tip end side of the sharply protruding section acts as the receiver that is mounted to the tip end of the sharply protruding section and has the area that is larger than that of the insertion hole formed on the fastener mounting portion
The combination of the clothing and the fasteners for the clothing having the structure described above is now described below.
In accordance with the present invention, the combination of the newly designed clothing and the fasteners for such clothing has the advantages over any of the corresponding combinations that are known to the prior art.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS

FIG. 1 is a diagram that illustrates the general structure of the combination of the clothing and the fasteners for the clothing in accordance with one embodiment of the present invention;

FIG. 2 is a diagram that illustrates the combination of the clothing and the clothing fastener in accordance with one embodiment of the present invention, showing how the clothing is to be fastened together; and

FIG. 3 is a cross sectional view that illustrates how the clothing is to be fastened together in accordance with the embodiment shown in FIG. 2.

BEST MODE OF EMBODYING THE INVENTION

FIG. 1 is a general diagram illustrating one example of the combination of the clothing 20 and the fasteners for the clothing 1, 1 a, 1 b in accordance with the current embodiment.
The clothing 20 shown in FIG. 1 is composed of a left-side front main section 23 and a right-side front main section 24 and includes a clothing fastening portion where the left-side front main section 23 and the right-side front main section 24 are to be fastened together on the respective left end side and right end side thereof as shown in FIG. 1.
The clothing fastening portion where the left-side front main section 23 and the right-side front main section 24 are to be fastened together include the one-side clothing fastening section comprising a sequence of a plurality of the one-side fasteners-mounting portions 11, 11 a, 11 b provided on the end side of the left-side front main section 23 and a sequence of a plurality of the other-side fastener mounting portions 21, 21 a, 21 b provided on the end side of the right-side front main section 24, those fastener mounting portions 11, 11 a, 11 b, 21, 21 a, 21 b being so designed as to allow the respective fasteners to be described later to be mounted on the corresponding fastener mounting portions. Specifically, the clothing fastening process takes place at the point where the fastener mounting portion 21 on the left-side front main section 23 and the fastener mounting portion 11 on the right-side front main section 34 meet together. Specifically, the clothing fastening process takes place at the point where the fastener mounting portion 21 a on the left-side front main section 23 and the fastener mounting portion 11 a on the right-side front main section 34 meet together. Similarly, the clothing fastening process also takes place at the point where the fastener mounting portion 21 b on the left-side front main section 23 and the fastener mounting portion 11 b on the right-side front main section 34 meet together.
The clothing fasteners 1, 1 a, 1 b that are involved in the clothing fastening process as described above have the respective button- like base portions 2, 2 a, 2 b and the respective sharply protruding sections 3, 3 a, 3 b extending from and through the back sides of the respective button- like base portions 3, 3 a, 3 b.
The fastener mounting portions 11, 11 a, 11 b, 21, 21 a, 21 b have the respective insertion holes 12, 22, 12 a, 22 a, 22 b formed thereon through which the sharply protruding sections 3, 3 a, 3 b on the respective fastener mounting portions 1, 1 a, 1 b are to be inserted.
The insertion holes 12, 22 have the forms that correspond to the form in cross section of the sharply protruding section 3 of the clothing fastener that is involved in the clothing fastening process that takes place at the point where the fastener mounting portions 11 and 21 on which the respective insertion holes are formed are meeting together. Specifically, the insertion holes 12 and 22 have the forms that are similar to the form in cross section of the sharply protruding section 3. In the embodiment shown, the sharply protruding section 3 has the square form in cross section and the corresponding insertion holes 12 and 22 also have the square forms.
Similarly, the insertion holes 12 a and 22 a have the forms that correspond to the form in cross section of the sharply protruding section 3 a of the clothing fastener 1 a which is involved in the clothing fastening process that takes place at the point where the fastener mounting portions 11 a and 21 a on which the respective insertion holes 12 a and 22 a are formed are meeting together. Specifically, the insertion holes 12 a and 22 a have the forms that are similar to the form in cross section of the sharply protruding section 3 a. In the embodiment shown, the sharply protruding section 3 a has the circular form in cross section and the corresponding insertion holes 12 a and 22 a also have the circular forms.
The insertion holes 12 b and 22 b have the forms that correspond to the form in cross section of the sharply protruding section 3 b of the clothing fastener 1 b that is involved in the clothing fastening process that takes place at the point where the fastener mounting portions 11 b and 21 b on which the respective insertion holes 12 b and 22 b are formed are meeting together. Specifically, the insertion holes 12 b and 22 b have the forms that are similar to the form in cross section of the sharply protruding section 3 b. In the embodiment shown, the sharply protruding section 3 b has the rectangular form in cross section having the two longer sides facing opposite each other in the vertical direction as shown in FIG. 1 and the corresponding insertion holes 12 b and 22 b also have the forms having the two longer sides facing opposite each other in the vertical direction as shown in FIG. 1.
The button- like base portions 2, 2 a, 2 b have the respective areas that are larger than those of the corresponding insertion holes 12, 22, 12 a, 22 a, 12 b, 22 b formed on the respective fastener mounting portions 11, 11 a, 11 b, 21, 21 a, 21 b.
In the current embodiment, the fasteners for the clothing 1, 1 a, 1 b have the sharply protruding sections 3, 3 a, 3 b that are to be inserted through the corresponding respective insertion holes 12, 22, 12 a, 22 a, 12 b, 22 b and the sharply protruding sections 3, 3 a, 3 b have the respective engaging parts at the tip ends thereof.
In the embodiment shown in FIGS. 1 through 3, the engaging parts formed at the tip ends of the sharply protruding sections 3, 3 a, 3 b of the fasteners for the clothing 1, 1 a, 1 b that are to be inserted through the corresponding respective insertion holes 12, 22, 12 a, 22 a, 12 b, 22 b serve as the receivers 31, 31 a, 31 b that are mounted to the tip ends of the sharply protruding sections 3, 3 a, 3 b and have the respective areas that are larger than those of the corresponding insertion holes 22, 22 a, 22 b (FIG. 2).
As shown in FIG. 2, the receiver 31 has the area that is larger than that of the corresponding insertion hole 22 of the clothing fastener (FIG. 1) and has the square-form fitting hole 33 at the center that engages with the tip end of the sharply protruding section 3.
After the sharply protruding section 3 of the fastener mounting portion 1 extending from and through the back side of the button-like base portion 2 is inserted through the insertion hole 12 on the fastener mounting portion 11 on the right end side of the right-side front main section 24 of the clothing 20 in FIG. 1 and then through the insertion hole 22 on the fastener mounting portion 21 on the left end side of the left-side front main section 23 of the clothing 20 in FIG. 1, its tip end is made to engage with the fitting hole 33 on the receiver 31 (FIG. 3). The two left-side and right-side front main sections 23 and 24 are thus fastened together.
Similarly, after the sharply protruding section 3 a of the fastener mounting portion 1 a extending from and through the back side of the button-like base portion 2 a is inserted through the insertion hole 12 a on the fastener mounting portion 11 a on the right end side of the right-side front main section 24 of the clothing 20 in FIG. 1 and then through the insertion hole 22 a on the fastener mounting portion 21 a on the left end side of the left-side front main section 23 of the clothing 20 in FIG. 1, its tip end is made to engage with the fitting hole 33 a on the receiver 31 a (FIG. 3). The left-side and right-side front main sections 23 and 24 are thus fastened together.
Similarly, after the sharply protruding section 3 b of the fastener mounting portion 1 b extending from and through the back side of the button-like base portion 2 b is inserted through the insertion hole 12 b on the fastener mounting portion 11 b on the right end side of the right-side front main section 24 of the clothing 20 in FIG. 1 and then through the insertion hole 22 b on the fastener mounting portion 21 b on the left end side of the left-side front main section 23 of the clothing 20 in FIG. 1, its tip end is made to engage with the fitting hole 33 b on the receiver 31 b (FIG. 3). The two left-side and right-side front main sections 23 and 24 are thus fastened together.
In the embodiment shown in FIGS. 1 through 3, the clothing fastener and the receiver which has the fitting hole to be engaged by the tip end of the sharply protruding section of the clothing fastener can be coupled together by means of any not shown coupling means such as the string member, chains and the like. The clothing fastener may previously have been combined with the receiver. In this case, the receiver may have the fitting hole whose form corresponds to the form in cross section of the tip end of the sharply protruding section of the clothing fastener.
In the embodiment described above, the other side of the button- like base portion 2, 2 a, 2 b, 42 that is opposite to the back side thereof and from which the respective sharply protruding section 3, 3 a, 3 b, 43, 46 a, 46 b extends, that is, the front side of each of the button- like base portions 2, 2 a, 2 b, 42 of each of the clothing fasteners 1, 1 a. 1 b, 41 may have the ornamental surface on which the variously colored objects, the variously patterned objects, the variously designed objects or any other similar object may appear.
When the left-side front main section 23 and the right-side front main section 24 of the clothing 20 are fastened together as shown in FIG. 3, the front side of each of the button- like base portions 2, 2 a, 2 b, 42 of each of the clothing fasteners 1. 1 a. 1 b, 41 can appear on the front side of the clothing 20.
When each of the button- like base portions 2, 2 a, 2 b, 42 of each of the clothing fasteners 1, 41 has the ornamental surface on the front side thereof as described above, the ornamental surface can appear on the front side of the clothing 20. Thus, the clothing 20 can provide the ornamental or decorative effects.
When the clothing 20 is to be worn, the appropriate button-like base portions having the ornaments that meet the needs of TPO (Time, Place, Occasion) 2, 2 a, 2 b, 42 can be selected.
In accordance with the current embodiment, the fastener mounting portions 11, 11 a, 11 b, 21, 22 a, 21 b that are involved in the process of fastening together the left-side and right-side front main sections 23 and 24 of the clothing 20 as well as the insertion holes 12, 22, 12 a, 22 a, 12 b 22 b that are to be inserted through the center of the corresponding respective fastener mounting portions each have the look or appearance that can be visually perceived as figures, patterns or ornaments when it is viewed from the front of the clothing 20 as shown in FIG. 1.
More specifically, the plurality of the one-side fastener mounting portions 11, 11 a, 11 b as well as the insertion holes 12, 12 a, 12 b that are to be inserted through the center of the corresponding one-side fastener mounting portions 11, 11 a, 11 b each have the look or appearance that can be visually perceived as the figures, patterns or ornaments when it is viewed from the front of the clothing 20.
Similarly, the plurality of the other-side fastener mounting portions 21, 21 a, 21 b as well as the insertion holes 21, 21 a, 21 b that are inserted through the center of the corresponding other-side fastener mounting portions 21, 21 a, 21 b each have the look or appearance that can be visually perceived as the figures, patterns or ornaments when it is viewed from the front of the clothing 20.
This permits the clothing fastening process to take place only at any desired clothing fastening portion, and the any desired clothing fastening portion can be selected so that it can be visually perceived from the outside. For example, the fastener mounting portions 11, 11 a, 11 b, 21, 21 a, 21 b that can be visually perceived when they are viewed from the front of the clothing 20 as well as the insertion holes 12, 22, 12 a, 22 a, 12 b, 22 b each should have the look or appearance that presents the highly enhanced ornaments. The clothing 20 can thus provide the highly enhanced ornamental effects.
For example, the clothing fastening process described above may take place at the clothing fastening section involved by the fastener mounting portions 11 a,11 b,21 a, 21 b whereas the fastener mounting portions 11, 21 may be able to be visually perceived as the figures, patterns or ornaments applied onto the clothing 20 when they are viewed from the front of the clothing 20. In this way, the form of the fastener mounting portions 11, 21 having the square form as well as the form of the corresponding insertion holes 12, 22 on the central side of the fastener mounting portions 11, 21 may be able to be visually perceived from the front of the clothing 20.
Similarly, the clothing fastening process should occur at the clothing fastening portions involved by the fastener mounting portions 11,11 a,21, 21 a whereas the clothing fastening portion involved by the fastener mounting portions 11 b, 21 b should be able to be visually perceived as the figures, patterns or ornaments applied onto the clothing 20 when they are viewed from the front of the clothing 20.
When the clothing fastening process takes place only at any desired clothing fastening section as described above and then the any desired clothing fastening portion is selected so that it can be visually perceived from the outside, the fastener mounting portions 11, 11 a, 11 b, 21, 21 a, 21 b that can be visually perceived when they are viewed from the front of the clothing 20 as well as the corresponding insertion holes 12, 22, 12 a, 22 a, 12 b, 22 b can have the look or appearance that presents the highly enhanced decorative figures, patterns or ornaments. The clothing 20 can thus offer the highly enhanced ornamental effects.
For the conventional clothing, it is required that the clothing fastening section that is involved in the clothing fastening process must include, for the one part, the clothing fastening members such as the buttons and the like and, for the other part, the buttonholes through which the clothing fastening members such as the buttons and the like are to be inserted.
It should be noted, however, that for the combination of the clothing and the fasteners for the clothing in accordance with the embodiment of the present invention, the clothing fastening section which is involved in the clothing fastening process can be such that it includes only the fastener mounting portions 11, etc that include the respective insertion holes 12, etc having the particular form and the respective sharply protruding sections 3, etc having the form that can conform to the particular form in cross section of the sharply protruding sections 3.
It should also be noted that, as opposed to the prior art combination using the clothing fastening portion that includes the clothing fastening members such as the buttons and the like, the combination according to the present invention includes the new conceptual and newly designed clothing that has not been found in any of the prior art combinations.
Instead of using the buttons or the like as the clothing fastening members, the present invention provides the combination of the new conceptual and newly designed clothing and the fasteners for the clothing that include the respective button-like base portions having the ornamental surface on the front sides thereof. This can thus enhance the ornamental effects.
It may be understood from the above description that in the clothing fastening portion of the present invention, the buttons or the like are not used as the clothing fastening members. For this reason, the clothing can be used as the reversible or can be used by either of both sexes, male or female (called as the unisex clothing).
In accordance with the combination of the clothing and the fasteners for the clothing of the present invention as described above, the new conceptual and newly designed clothing or fashionable clothing can be offered.
Although this is not shown, for example, the fastener mounting portion 11 may have the form which is shown as a square form when it is viewed from the front of the clothing 20 and the fastener mounting portion 21 may have the form which is shown as a circular form when it is viewed from the front of the clothing 20. By placing the right-side front main section 24 of the clothing 20 under the left-side front main section 23 of the clothing 20, then, the above-described clothing fastening process should be allowed to take place on the clothing fastening portion involved by the fastener mounting portions 11 a, 11 b, 21 a, 21 b whereas the clothing fastening process should not be allowed to take place on the clothing fastening portion involved by the fastener mounting portions 11, 21. In this way, the figures, patterns or ornaments would be visually perceived as different from those which are visually perceived when they are viewed from the front of the clothing 20.
Although the present invention has been described above with reference to the preferred embodiment thereof by referring to the accompanying drawings, it should be understood that the present invention is not limited to those preferred embodiment and may be changed in various ways without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as defined in the appended claims.

Claims

1. A combination of the clothing and the fasteners for the clothing, said clothing having a clothing fastening portion that includes two clothing fastening sections that involve the respective sequences of fastener mounting portions facing opposite each other and said fasteners for the clothing being to be mounted on the respective fastener mounting portions, wherein

said fastener for the clothing includes a button-like base portion which has an ornamental or decorative surface on the front side thereof and a sharply protruding section extending from and through the back side opposite to the front side of said button-like base portion;

said clothing fastening portion comprises two clothing fastening sections to be fastened together when said clothing is worn on a human body, one of which is provided on the end side of the one-side front main section of said clothing and the other of which is provided on the end side of the other-side front main section of said clothing;

said fastener mounting portion comprises the sequence of the one-side fastener mounting portions and the sequence of the other-side fastener mounting portions, said sequence of the one-side fastener mounting portions including a plurality of fastener mounting portions arranged at regular intervals in the vertical direction on the end side of said one-side front main section of said clothing and said sequence of the other-side fastener mounting portion including a plurality of fastener mounting portions having the same vertical height or number as those of said one-side fastener mounting portions and arranged at regular intervals in the vertical direction on the end side of said other-side front main section of said clothing;

each of said one-side fastener mounting portions and each of said other-side fastener mounting portions have an insertion hole formed on the central side thereof through which said sharply protruding section is to be inserted and which has the form in cross section that is similar to that of said sharply protruding section;

said button-like base portion of said clothing fastener has an area that is larger than said insertion hole formed on each of said fastener mounting portions; and

said engaging part formed at the tip end of said sharply protruding section is provided at the tip end of said sharply protruding section and serves as the receiver that has an area that is larger than that of said insertion hole formed on each of said fastener mounting portions.
