- Not Applicable.
- The present disclosure relates to the technical field of living goods, and particularly, to a portable binding device.
- When binding bundled objects in open air, if gaps between the bundled objects are relatively large, and the bundled objects are of high hardness and elasticity, it may impossible for humans to tightly bind the objects with ropes or the like, resulting in the bundled objects not being compact and being bulky. However, existing binding devices are bulky, heavy, and inconvenient to carry, and thus may be impractical for many outdoor uses
- The present disclosure relates to a portable binding device, comprising a main shaft and a chain. Ratchets are fixed at each end of the main shaft and rotated in the same direction therewith. An outer ring of the ratchet is provided with a gear ring. A middle part of the main shaft is installed with a compression bar which is perpendicular to an axis of the main shaft. One end of the chain is connected to the middle part of the main shaft, and other end or the middle part of the chain is engaged with the gear ring.
- In some embodiments, a positioning disc which is welded with a positioning plate, is arranged on the main shaft and adjacent to the ratchet.
- In some embodiments, the positioning plate is provided with a chain positioning slot on a side far from the main shaft, and the chain positioning slot is in line with the gear ring.
- In some embodiments, the positioning plate is provided with a chain tension skew plate located between the chain positioning slot and the gear ring.
- In some embodiments, a positioning pin is provided on the main shaft and located between the positioning disc and the compression bar; the one end of the chain is provided with a positioning hole in which the positioning pin is inserted.
- In some embodiments, the compression bar comprises a base portion and a rod portion, wherein the base portion is welded on the main shaft, and the rod portion is connected with the base portion by threaded connection.
-
FIG. 1 is a schematic view of a portable binding device according to the present disclosure. - In order to enable the possible advantages of a binding device according to the present disclosure to be clear and comprehensible, example embodiments are further described in detail below, with reference to the accompanying drawings. It should be understood that the specific embodiments described herein are only explanatory, and are not intended to limit the scope of the present disclosure.
-
FIG. 1 is a schematic view of an example embodiment of a portable binding device according to the present disclosure. The present embodiment of a portable binding device comprises a main shaft 1 and achain 11, wherein aratchet 2 is fixed at each end of the main shaft 1. Theratchets 2 are rotated in the same direction as the main shaft 1, An outer ring of eachratchet 2 is provided with agear ring 3. The middle part of the main shaft 1 is installed with acompression bar 4 which is perpendicular to the axis of the main shaft 1. - One end of the
chain 11 is connected to the middle part of the main shaft 1, and the other end or the middle part of thechain 11 is engaged with thegear ring 3. - In one embodiment of the present invention, in order to make the device portable, the
compression bar 4 may comprise a base portion 4-1 and a rod portion 4-2, wherein the base portion 4-1 is affixed to, such as welded on. the main shaft 1, and the rod portion 4-2 is connected with the base portion 4-1, for example, by a threaded connection. When not in use, the rod portion 4-2 may be removed from the base portion 4-1, so the binding device takes up less space and is more convenient for carrying. - In another embodiment, in order to make the device more portable, a
positioning pin 10 is provided on the main shaft 1 and located between apositioning disc 5 and thecompression bar 4. One end of thechain 11 is provided with a positioning hole in which thepositioning pin 10 is inserted. When not in use, thechain 11 can be detached from the device and placed separately. - In another embodiment, in order to make it convenient for the user to put forth his strength when binding, the
positioning disc 5 which is affixed to, for example by welding, with apositioning plate 6, is arranged on the main shaft 1 adjacent to theratchet 2. When thecompression bar 4 is pushed upwards, thechain 11 is tensioned tightly, and thepositioning plate 6 can directly press on the bundled object to bear the force of thecompression bar 4 when binding. - In another embodiment, in order to ensure the operational stability of the
chain 11, thepositioning plate 6 may be provided with achain positioning slot 7 on the side far from the main shaft 1. Thechain positioning slot 7 may be in line with thegear ring 3. Thechain 11 is thus always in line with thegear ring 3 by reason of the positioning of thechain positioning slot 7 to prevent failures such as disengaging and dropping of thechain 11. - In another embodiment, in order to further ensure the operational stability of the
chain 11, thepositioning plate 6 may be provided with a chaintension skew plate 8 located between thechain positioning slot 7 and thegear ring 3. More specifically, the bottom of the chaintension skew plate 8 may be hingedly coupled to thepositioning plate 6, and the chaintension skew plate 8 may be supported by ajackstay 9, or may be configured as a spring such that the chaintension skew plate 8 always jacks against the bottom of the chain to retain the chain in a tensioned state. - In the actual application of a device according to the present disclosure, one end of the
chain 11 is connected to the main shaft 1, and the other end of the chain is passed through the bottom of the bundled object and then engaged with thegear ring 3, so as to drive thecompression bar 4 to reciprocate. Due to the presence of theratchets 2, thecorresponding gear rings 3 can only rotate unidirectionally. By the unidirectional rotation of thegear rings 3, thechain 11 is continuously tightened, and finally binding the bundled object tightly. In addition, in the tensioned state, user can bind the bundled object with ropes or the like, and then pull up the chain from thegear ring 3 and retrieve the device. - The present invention is simple in structure, convenient for carrying, and has a good binding effect and high practicality.
- Although only a few examples have been described in detail above, those skilled in the art will readily appreciate that many modifications are possible in the examples. Accordingly, all such modifications are intended to be included within the scope of this disclosure as defined in the following claims.
