Abstract

The Moist Toilet Tissue Dispenser is a cylindrical container that dispenses pre-moistened sheets of toilet tissue from a roll. The dispenser has a removable end where new rolls of moistened toilet tissue can be inserted. The toilet tissue is threaded through a long slit in the side of the dispenser, through which it can be pulled out for use. The dispenser fits onto the sprocket of standard wall mounted or freestanding toilet roll holders without need of any further equipment. The container is designed so that the pre-moistened toilet tissue remains moist for an acceptable time. The invention has a disposable version made of low cost recyclable plastics and a durable variant made of metal, rubber or acrylic. In addition, the invention comprises pre-moistened rolls of toilet tissue, manufactured to industry standard size tolerances for conventional dry toilet tissue.

Description

  • The Moist Toilet Tissue Dispenser allows pre-moistened rolls of toilet tissue to be conveniently dispensed from standard wall mounted or freestanding toilet roll holders without need of any further box or equipment.
  • The invention is a uniquely designed cylindrical container that allows convenient dispensing of pre-moistened toilet tissue. It is designed to be used with almost all standard toilet roll holders. The container is designed so that the pre-moistened toilet tissue remains moist for an acceptable time.
  • In addition, the invention comprises pre-moistened rolls of toilet tissue, manufactured to the industry standard size tolerances for conventional dry toilet tissue.
  • The invention has a disposable and a durable variant. Both the disposable and the durable version are of similar shape and design and are made to fit standard toilet roll holders. The disposable version is made of low cost recyclable plastics and contains a single roll of pre-moistened toilet tissue. The durable version is made of metal, rubber or acrylic and can be repeatedly filled with replacement rolls of pre-moistened toilet tissue.

    •  KEY FOR DRAWINGS
  • A: Unique curved flap hole through which the wall mounted, or floor standing, fixed toilet roll holder spindle is threaded. This curved flap hole is manufactured into each end of the cylinder (both the screw on end and the fixed end), so that the toilet roll holder spindle threads completely through the cylinder.
  • B: Unique ‘Wave’ shaped slit through which the pre-moistened toilet paper is dispensed. The slit is 4.75″ long. The slit allows for convenient dispensing of toilet tissue whilst retaining moisture in the toilet tissue.
  • C. The removable adhesive cover that sticks over the curved flap hole and helps to keep the toilet tissue moist until it is removed and the toilet tissue is used.

  • I: Toilet Roll Spindle. ¾″ round stamped hole with curved wave edges. This is where the wall mounted fixed toilet roll holder spindle goes into and through the Moist Toilet Tissue Dispenser from one end to the other to hold and support it.

Claims (3)

1. A one use disposable container and dispenser of pre-moistened biodegradable and flushable toilet tissue on a roll that can be conveniently dispensed from a standard toilet roll holder with no other box or equipment.
2. A durable cylindrical dispenser of pre-moistened biodegradable and flushable toilet tissue on a roll that can accommodate and dispense numerous replacement rolls of pre-moistened toilet tissue with no other box or equipment needed.
3. A continuous roll of pre-moistened biodegradable and flushable toilet tissue separated Into separate sheets by serrated cuts, manufactured to standard dry toilet tissue roll size specifications.
