Abstract
The footwear protector for skate practice has as its main function the protection of the outer front part of the footwear from the wear caused by the contact with the sandpaper of the surface of the skate, when executing maneuvers, and with the floor, when the impulsion for the acquisition of speed or to brake it, The surfaces (1 and 5) being manufactured in different textures, designs and thicknesses (7), providing different combinations of strength, elasticity and aesthetics, while the inner front surface (2) is adapted to different shoe models, since fabricated in attention (3) and the outer lower surface (8) have the function of protecting the front sole of the footwear from extreme wear, the connection of the front part of the device (1, 2, 3 and 8) to the rear part 4, by means of side strips 5, which have the function of fixing the device to the footwear, finally the surface 7 represents the thickness of the material to be used which Must be sturdy and elastic.
Description
- The present invention relates to the “FOOTWEAR PROTECTOR FOR SKATE PRACTICE”, which is a device in natural or synthetic material that fits perfectly to the shoes of skateboarders, providing durability as it mitigates damage Due to the friction with the skate sandpaper and with the floor, whether due to maneuvering, or due to the impulse to speed acquisition, or even to braking, besides contributing to the safety and performance of the athlete when maneuvering, due to to the improvement in the adhesion of the skate to the feet.
- As is known by skateboarders, there are currently shoes developed for the practice of the sport, but all of them, without exception, suffer the effect of early wear, reducing the life of the footwear due to the constant friction with the surface sandpaper of the skate and also with the floor, since, due to the inexistence of brakes in the skate, the only option to interrupt its operation is the direct contact of the feet with the floor, thus, all the external parts of the footwear suffer some type of damage, The front sole in excess.
- Therefore, the object of the present invention is the design of an easy-to-use footwear protective device which unite function and performance.
- For a better understanding of the present device, a detailed description thereof is given below, with references to the accompanying drawings, where:
-
FIG. 1 represents a perspective view, highlighting the details of the front of the device; -
FIG. 2 illustrates another perspective view, however, highlighting the details of the inner part of the device; -
FIG. 3 shows a top view of the device; and the -
FIG. 4 shows a bottom view of the device. - According to these illustrations and in their details, more particularly
FIGS. 1 to 4 , the device of the present invention, FOOTWEAR PROTECTOR FOR SKATE PRACTICE, is of the type manufactured from natural or synthetic rubberized material, with resistant and elastic characteristics, through the use of an appropriate injection or vulcanization process, or resistant fabric, natural or synthetic, with a resilient and elastic characteristic, through the use of sewing methods, having as main function the protection of the front part of the footwear, being the outer upper front surface of the device (1) responsible for the protection of the upper front part of the shoe, from wear caused by contact with the sandpaper surface of the skate, when performing maneuvers, this outer upper front surface of the device (1) can be manufactured with different textures, designs and thicknesses (7), in this way, it provides different combinations of strength, elasticity and aesthetics, while the upper inner surface of the device (2) is in direct contact with the upper front part of the footwear, since, due to its elastic rubber material, it can perfectly adapt to the different footwear models, and the lower inner front surface of the device (3) is in direct contact with the front of the footwear's sole, and the outer lower surface of the device (8) stays in direct contact with the sandpaper surface of the skate and with the floor, and aims at the protection of the front of the footwear's sole, which suffers extreme wear due to constant friction, either when the skater gets a kick to propel the skate forward, to perform maneuvers or even to stop abruptly and brake it. - The entire front part of the device (1), (2), (3), (8) is connected to the rear part of the device (4) which is in contact with the back of the footwear by means of the side handles of the device (5), which are in contact with the sides of the footwear.
- The side handles of the device (5) and the rear part of the device (4) have the function of securing and fixing the entire front part of the device (1), (2), (3), (8) to the footwear in such a way that it stays well fitted and do not loose itself, now the device surface (7) represents the thickness of the material which, by the use of resilient and elastic material, allows it to be stretched tightly to the footwear, giving even better grip during maneuvers.
