Abstract

Vaporizers are provided. A representative vaporizer includes multiple ovens, multiple valve seats, a needle valve, and an adjustment wheel. The multiple ovens are configured to vaporize a substance that is placed within the multiple chambers. The multiple valve seats that are coupled to the multiple ovens and each includes a valve chamber, outside air path, and oven path, wherein the multiple valve seats is configured to allow outside air to enter the multiple valve seat from the outside air path through the valve chamber and the oven path and into the multiple ovens. The needle valve that is rotatably received in the valve chambers of the multiple valves. The adjustment wheel that includes a thread bore, wherein the threads of the needle valve is rotatably received in the thread bore, wherein the adjustment wheel rotates and moves the needle valve to adjust the opening of the valve chambers, which adjusts the amount of air entering the multiple ovens.

    CROSS REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATIONS
  • This application claims the benefit of U.S. provisional application entitled, “SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR VAPORIZING SUBSTANCE,” having Ser. No. 62/438,497, filed on Dec. 23, 2016, all of which are entirely incorporated herein by reference.
  • TECHNICAL FIELD
  • The present disclosure is generally related to vaporizer and, more particularly, is related to systems and methods for vaporizing substance
  • BACKGROUND
  • Vaporizers are becoming more popular for various reasons. One reason is that vaporizers produce less carcinogens than regular cigarettes. Desirable in the art is an improved vaporizer that would improve upon the conventional vaporizer.
  • SUMMARY
  • Vaporizers are provided. A representative vaporizer includes multiple ovens, multiple valve seats, a needle valve, and an adjustment wheel. The multiple ovens are configured to vaporize a substance that is placed within the multiple chambers. The multiple valve seats that are coupled to the multiple ovens and each includes a valve chamber, outside air path, and oven path, wherein the multiple valve seats is configured to allow outside air to enter the multiple valve seat from the outside air path through the valve chamber and the oven path and into the multiple ovens. The needle valve that is rotatably received in the valve chambers of the multiple valves. The adjustment wheel that includes a thread bore, wherein the threads of the needle valve is rotatably received in the thread bore, wherein the adjustment wheel rotates and moves the needle valve to adjust the opening of the valve chambers, which adjusts the amount of air entering the multiple ovens.

  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION
  • Exemplary vaporizers are discussed with reference to the figures. Although these vaporizers are described in detail, they are provided for purposes of illustration only and various modifications are feasible.
  • FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a vaporizer 100 in accordance with an embodiment of the invention. The vaporizer 100 includes multiple ovens 110 and oven seals 115 that seal the ovens 110 onto the housing of the vaporizer 100. The vaporizer 100 includes an airway port 105 that allows vaporized substance from the multiple ovens 110 to merge into an outtake airway 730 (FIG. 7) and an adjustment wheel 125 that adjusts the amount of outside air entering the multiple ovens 110. The vaporizer 100 includes a mouthpiece 130 that aligns in the outtake airway 730 of the vaporizer 100 and allows a user to draw vaporized substance from the multiple ovens 110.
  • FIG. 2 is an exploded pre-assembly view of an oven door 200 of a vaporizer in accordance with an embodiment of the invention. The oven door 200 includes an outer shell 205 and a lock retainer plate 240, which includes a lock mechanism 230 that locks to the outer shell 205. The lock retainer plate 240 includes an oval cutoff that is received by a filter seal 225 that is placed on top of the ovens 110 and includes openings that allows vaporized substance to pass therethrough.
  • A filter 220 is placed on top of the filter seal 225 and a filter backer plate 215 is placed on top of the filter 220. An air path insulation 210 is placed on top of the filter backer plate 215. The vaporized substance from the ovens 110 flows through the openings of the filter seal 225, through the filter 220, through the airway port 105 (FIG. 1), and into the outtake airway 730 (FIG. 7). The lock retainer plate 240 can be unlock so that the components shown in FIG. 2 can be cleaned.
  • FIG. 3 is a cross-sectional view of an assembled oven door 200 of a vaporizer 100 in accordance with an embodiment of the invention. A clotted line shows the path of the vaporized substance from the ovens 110 flows through the openings of the filter seal 225, through the filter 220, and into the airway port 105 (FIG. 1).
  • FIG. 4 is a perspective view of an airflow adjustment device 400 in accordance with an embodiment of the invention. The airflow adjustment device 400 includes a needle valve 405 and an adjustment wheel 125 and multiple valve seats 410, 415. The adjustment wheel 125 is placed between the multiple valve seats 410, 415 and the needle valve 405 is received inside the multiple valve seats 410, 415. The airflow adjustment device 400 is further described in more detail in connection to FIGS. 5-7.
  • FIG. 5 is a cross-sectional view of an airflow adjustment device 400 in accordance with an embodiment of the invention. Each valve seat 410, 415 includes a valve chamber 505, outside air path (air), valve-oven path 510 and oven path 515. The multiple valve seats 410, 415 are configured to allow outside air to enter the multiple valve seats 410, 415 from the outside air path through the valve chamber 505 and the oven path 515 and into the multiple ovens 110. A needle valve is rotatably received in the valve chambers 505 of the multiple valve seats 410, 415 and includes threads. An adjustment wheel 125 includes a thread bore that rotatably receives the threads of the needle valve 405. The adjustment wheel 125 rotates and moves the needle valve 405 to adjust the opening of the valve chambers 505, which adjusts the amount of air entering the multiple ovens 110. When the user inhales, cold air passes through the bottom hole in the valve chambers 505, flows past the needle valve 405, through the valve-oven path 510, and down into the oven path 515 between the oven backer plate 215 and the rear housing 520.
  • FIG. 6 is a cross-sectional view of an airflow adjustment device 400 that shows air movement inside the vaporizer 100 in accordance with an embodiment of the invention. The airflow adjustment device 400 provides the user the ability to mix and balance the air flow through two different canisters simultaneously. The needle valve adjusts the opening of the valve chambers 505 such that the multiple valve chambers receives equal or unequal amount of air. For example, the needle valve can be adjusted by way of the adjustment wheel 125 such that 100% air flow passes through oven A or such that 100% air flow passes through oven B. The needle valve can be adjusted such that 50% air flow passes through ovens A, B. One skilled in the art can appreciate that the percentage of the air flow through ovens A or B can be adjust from 0% to 100%.
  • FIG. 7 is a cross-sectional view of a vaporizer that shows air movement inside the vaporizer in accordance with an embodiment of the invention. From the oven path 515, air passes up through a bottom tube 705, into the oven 110, into the canister 120, through the canister contents 710, through a canister lid 715, through the lid filter plate 220, merges with air corning from the other oven 110 in the space 720 between the filter plate and the filter backer plate 210, passes through the airway port 725 into the removable airway 730 and out through the mouth piece 130. Insulation 735 can prevent the hot air from heating up the outside surface of the housing.
  • FIG. 8 is a cross-sectional view of a vaporizer 100 and a perspective view of an oven 110 in accordance with an embodiment of the invention. Thermistors 805 can be electrically coupled to the multiple ovens 110 to monitor the temperatures of the multiple ovens. The temperatures of the canisters 120 (FIG. 1) are monitored with thermistors 805 which can be soldered to the inductive heater flexible circuit and which contact the bottom of the ferrous ovens.
  • FIG. 9 is a cross-sectional view and a perspective view of an herb canister and an oil/wax canister in accordance with an embodiment of the invention. A user can vaporize herbs and oil/wax using the vaporizer 100. To use the vaporizer with herbs, a canister 120 is placed with a filter 910 and lid 905 therein. To use the vaporizer with oil/wax, the canister 120 is placed with an air diverter 915, a wick 920, and the lid 905 therein. It should be noted that the herb canister includes perforations at the bottom surface and the oil/wax canister includes a center opening that is raised inward.
  • FIG. 10 is a cross-sectional view and a preassembly view of an oil/wax canister 120 that shows air movement inside the canister 120 in accordance with an embodiment of the invention. The air diverter 915 covers the center opening of the oil/wax canister 120 and includes a flat base that sits on top of the bottom surface of the oil/wax canister 120 and a top cover that covers the center opening. The side walls of the air diverter 915 includes openings that allow airs to flow towards the wick 920. The air diverter 915 in the canister 120 forces air flow towards the wick 920 to best ensure oil evaporation. The tightly packed metal fibers of the oil wick trap oil with capillary action. The raised lip of the center opening at the bottom of the canister 120 and the lid 905 can prevent leakage of any oil which escapes the wick.

Obvious modifications or variations are possible in light of the above teachings. The embodiments discussed, however, were chosen to illustrate the principles of the disclosure, and its practical application. The disclosure is thus intended to enable one of ordinary skill in the art to use the disclosure, in various embodiments and with various modifications, as are suited to the particular use contemplated. All such modifications and variation are within the scope of this disclosure, as determined by the appended claims when interpreted in accordance with the breadth to which they are fairly and legally entitled.

Claims (16)

Therefore, having thus described the disclosure, at least the following is claimed:
1. A vaporizer comprising:
multiple ovens that are configured to vaporize a substance that s placed within the multiple chambers;
multiple valve seats that are coupled to the multiple ovens and each includes a valve chamber, outside air path, and oven path, wherein the multiple valve seats are configured to allow outside air to enter the multiple valve seat from the outside air path through the valve chamber and the oven path and into the multiple ovens;
a needle valve that is rotatably received in the valve chambers of the multiple valve seats and includes threads; and
an adjustment wheel that includes a thread bore, wherein the threads of the needle valve is rotatably received in the thread bore, wherein the adjustment wheel rotates and moves the needle valve to adjust the opening of the valve chambers, which adjusts the amount of air enter the multiple ovens.
2. The vaporizer as defined in claim 1, wherein the needle valve adjusts the opening of the valve chambers such that the multiple valve chambers receives equal amount of air.
3. The vaporizer as defined in claim 1, wherein the needle valve adjusts the opening of the valve chambers such that the multiple valve chambers receives unequal amount of air.
4. The vaporizer as defined in claim 2, further comprising a canister that includes a wick and an air diverter that forces air flow through the wick.
5. The vaporizer as defined in claim 4, further comprising thermistors that are electrically coupled to the multiple ovens to monitor the temperatures of the multiple ovens.
6. The vaporizer as defined in claim 1, further comprising an outtake airway that receives vaporized substances from the multiple ovens.
7. A vaporizer comprising:
multiple ovens that are configured to vaporize a substance that s placed within the multiple chambers;
multiple valve seats that are coupled to the multiple ovens and each includes a valve chamber, outside air path, and oven path, wherein the multiple valve seats is configured to allow outside air to enter the multiple valve seat from the outside air path through the valve chamber and the oven path and into the multiple ovens;
a needle valve that is rotatably received in the valve chambers of the multiple valves; and
adjustment wheel that includes a thread bore, wherein the threads of the needle valve is rotatably received in the thread bore, wherein the adjustment wheel rotates and moves the needle valve to adjust the opening of the valve chambers, which adjusts the amount of air entering the multiple ovens, wherein the needle valve adjusts the opening of the valve chambers such that the multiple valve chambers receives equal or unequal amount of air.
8. The vaporizer as defined in claim 7, further comprising a canister that includes a wick and an air diverter that forces air flow through the wick.
9. The vaporizer as defined in claim 8, further comprising thermistors that are electrically coupled to the multiple ovens to monitor the temperatures of the multiple ovens.
10. The vaporizer as defined in claim 7, further comprising an outtake airway that receives vaporized substances from the multiple ovens.
11. A method of sing a vaporizer comprising:
providing power to multiple ovens to vaporize a substance that is placed within the multiple chambers;
allowing air to flow through multiple valve seats that are coupled to the multiple ovens, wherein each valve seat includes a valve chamber, outside air path, and oven path, wherein the air enters from the outside air path through the valve chamber and the oven path and into the multiple ovens, wherein a needle valve is received in the valve chambers of the multiple valves; and
rotating an adjustment wheel of a vaporizer to control the amount of the air through multiple ovens of the vaporizer, wherein the adjustment wheel includes a bore that the needle valve is received therein, wherein the adjustment wheel rotates and moves the needle valve to adjust the opening of the valve chambers, which adjusts the amount of air entering the multiple ovens.
12. The vaporizer as defined in claim 11, further comprising moving the needle valve to adjust the opening of the valve chambers such that the multiple valve chambers receives equal amount of air.
13. The vaporizer as defined in claim 11, further comprising moving the needle valve to adjust the opening of the valve chambers such that the multiple valve chambers receives unequal amount of air.
14. The vaporizer as defined in claim 12, further comprising a canister that includes a wick and an air diverter that forces air flow through the wick.
15. The vaporizer as defined in claim 14, further comprising thermistors that are electrically coupled to the multiple ovens to monitor the temperatures of the multiple ovens.
16. The vaporizer as defined in claim 11, further comprising an outtalk airway that receives vaporized substances from the multiple ovens.
