Description

    BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • The following includes information that may be useful in understanding the present invention(s). It is not an admission that any of the information provided herein is prior art, or material, to the presently described or claimed inventions, or that any publication or document that is specifically or implicitly referenced is prior art.
  • FIELD OF THE INVENTION
  • The present invention relates generally to the field of clothing accessories and more specifically relates to a cloth gathering system entitled, “t-TAG”.
  • DESCRIPTION OF RELATED ART
  • Conventionally ponytail holders (rubber bands) are used to restrain clothes in place. These are not attractive in their look. These bands are limited in scope and use and offer minimal support to keep the cloth attached to the body should a woman choose to wear a t-shirt/shirt, fabric or sarong as an article of clothing. This is not desirable.
  • Several attempts have been made to solve the above-mentioned problems such as those found in U.S. Patent and U.S. Publication numbers: U.S. Pat. No. 8,769,780 to Alan Segel; U.S. Pat. No. 6,175,961 to Linden et al.; and U.S. Pat. No. 4,854,572 to Knight. This art is representative of clothing accessories. However, none of the above inventions and patents, taken either singly or in combination, is seen to describe the invention as claimed.
  • Preferably, a cloth gathering system should provide means to gather a t shirt, shirt or other garments to shorten or tighten them for the reason of fashion or comfort and, yet would operate reliably and be manufactured at a modest expense. Thus, a need exists for a reliable cloth gathering system to avoid the above-mentioned problems.
  • BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • In view of the foregoing disadvantages inherent in the known clothing accessory art, the present invention provides a novel clothing accessory. The general purpose of the present invention, which will be described subsequently in greater detail is to provide a cloth gathering system.
  • A cloth gathering system is disclosed herein in a preferred embodiment comprising: a cloth gathering assembly having a plate-member comprising a front surface, a back surface at least one aperture, and at least one personalized design, and a rubber band. The cloth gathering system comprises the cloth gathering assembly. The cloth gathering assembly comprises in functional combination the plate-member and the rubber band. The plate-member is defined by the front surface, the back surface, and includes the at least one aperture and the at least one personalized design.
  • The plate-member comprises a planar profile and a circular body having seven apertures in preferred embodiments. The personalized design comprises indicia for visual recognition. The personalized design may comprise an emblem. The rubber band is affixed to the plate-member. The rubber band comprises neoprene. The rubber band is fabric covered. The rubber band is affixed to a center of the circular member. The rubber band is flexible and deformable for wrapping around and restraining cloth at the waist of the user. The cloth gathering assembly is useful for gathering and holding a garment at a waist of a wearer for comfort and personalization of outfits.
  • The present invention holds significant improvements and serves as a cloth gathering system. For purposes of summarizing the invention, certain aspects, advantages, and novel features of the invention have been described herein. It is to be understood that not necessarily all such advantages may be achieved in accordance with any one particular embodiment of the invention. Thus, the invention may be embodied or carried out in a manner that achieves or optimizes one advantage or group of advantages as taught herein without necessarily achieving other advantages as may be taught or suggested herein. The features of the invention which are believed to be novel are particularly pointed out and distinctly claimed in the concluding portion of the specification. These and other features, aspects, and advantages of the present invention will become better understood with reference to the following drawings and detailed description.
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
  • The figures which accompany the written portion of this specification illustrate embodiments and method(s) of use for the present invention, cloth gathering systems, constructed and operative according to the teachings of the present invention.
  • FIG. 1 shows a perspective view illustrating a cloth gathering system comprising a cloth gathering assembly during an ‘in-use’ condition showing a user with the device gripping a shirt according to an embodiment of the present invention.
  • FIG. 2 is a perspective view illustrating the cloth gathering assembly comprising a plate-member and a rubber band according to an embodiment of the present invention of FIG. 1.
  • FIG. 3 is a perspective view illustrating the plate-member having apertures and at least one personalized design according to an embodiment of the present invention.
  • The various embodiments of the present invention will hereinafter be described in conjunction with the appended drawings, wherein like designations denote like elements.
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION
  • As discussed above, embodiments of the present invention relate to a clothing accessory and more particularly to a cloth gathering system as used to improve the means for gathering t-shirts and shirts at the bottom of the fabric or at the waist of a user-wearer.
  • Generally speaking, cloth gathering systems as disclosed herein is useful for providing a cloth gathering device to gather and hold a t-shirt/shirt or other fabric at bottom of the cloth at the waist of the wearer. The device includes a flexible circular member having a circumference, and a structure fixed on the outer surface of the flexible circular member. The structure fixed on the outer surface of the flexible circular member is of different shape, size, word, number, logo, design or color. The device may comprise neoprene, PVC, EVA or the like material. Cloth gathering systems allows wearers to personalize their outfits. The device is decorative and aesthetically appealing.
