- The Invention relates to the field of ball sport commodities, particularly to a non-sewing softball/baseball glove.
- The invention (patent No. 200920053805.7) published on Jun. 2, 2010 disclosed a baseball glove, comprising a lining, a shell and a web, wherein, the lining is set in the shell, and the web and shell are connected by means of sewing; the lining is composed of an inner palm integrally formed and several inner finger slices sewed together with the inner palm; the inner palm has an inner palm area and five inner finger areas where inner palm extends outwardly; the shell has an outer full palm and an outer full opisthenar, wherein the outer full palm has an outer palm area and five outer finger areas extending outwardly from the outer palm area. The outer full opisthenar has an outer opisthenar area and five finger back areas extending outwardly from the outer opisthenar area. The outer full palm and outer full opisthenar are sewed together. In the invention, the inner full palm and the outer full opisthenar are respectively formed integrally, thus saving manpower and costs. Meanwhile, the integrally formed material can reduce the weight of the glove and manufacture a satisfied baseball glove.
- However, the three parts of the baseball glove (lining, shell and web) need to be formed by mechanically sewing multiple of small pieces and manually running rope, so there are some defects: 1. very complex process, just reducing about 20% of workload during sewing; 2. very rough process, failing to realize anti-slip and sweating prevention, resulting in uneasy wear and uncomfort. Therefore, it is not a practical invention.

- S2. Injecting the shell mold and web mold respectively for one-time molding with an injector; after molding, the polyurethane glove is obtained;
- Preferably, in order to improve the hand feel, bursting and tear resistance of the glove, firstly, the surface of the inner mold is sleeved with a cloth glove with dimensions consistent the inner mold; the shell mold and the web mold are injected with polyurethane material respectively for one-time molding; the polyurethane material is combined with the cloth glove and the cloth glove is integrated with the inner wall of the glove when the glove is injected for molding.
- Wherein, as the cloth glove is combined with the inner wall of the non-sewing softball/baseball glove, it is integrally molded by a knitting device or by mechanical high-temperature pressing of cloth sheets.
- The non-sewing softball/baseball glove with base cloth combined with the inner wall of the polyurethane glove has the advantages including better bursting and tear resistance, good flexibility, good hand feel and comfort, comparable with leather glove.
- S3. Manually running a rope for connecting the shell and web made in
Step 2 to complete the fabrication of the non-sewing softball/baseball glove. - The manually-running rope has a flexible selection for different softness or hardness and elasticity requirements of different grades of shell and web. For example, with the elastic rope of elastic function, the tightness between the web and fingers may be adjusted for better stretching effect and easy catching and griping ball according to the palm size of different users, similar to the function of fastening shoe lace.
- Preferably, one more rope in different color may be provided for the user to obtain free different matching effect, increase personalized use fun and adapt to market demand. Therefore, an increased service fun can be achieved based on overall rope running and flexible matching of the web and the shell, richer color and more beautiful appearance.
- Preferably, in S1, the outer mold is provided with a palm texture for catching ball with anti-slip effect.
- Preferably, in S1, the outer mold is provided with a palm thickness layer for increasing cushioning and damping strength.
- Preferably, in S1, the inner mold is provided with a concave pattern at the finger joints.
- Preferably, in S2, the material for injection is polyurethane.
- The beneficial effects of the Invention lie in that:
- 1. By virtue of one-time molding with an injector, the mold is provided with micropores for automatic exhaust, making the softball/baseball glove have air ventilation, anti-slip and sweating prevention functions. Concave patterns are provided on the thickness layer of the palm and the finger joints in the inner mold to realize wear resistance, anti-strike, buffer relieving and easy grip. Additionally, during fabrication, the sewing procedure, about 110 steps of manufacturing the conventional glove, is exempted, reducing 100% sewing workload by virtue of its simpleness.
- 2. The outer mold claimed in the Invention can be directly injected, printed, hot-stamped or stickered with various appearance designs like patterns and fonts and LOGO according to the preferences of the different purchasers for more beautiful appearance and special meaning.
