The lace material has a mesh structure with a predetermined eye size for anchoring hairs on an outer side of the mesh structure and enclosing a scalp portion of a user with an inner side of the mesh structure. The hair-tied portion covers a substantial portion of the top side of the lace material. The pre-tweezed portion covers a slit portion of the top side of the lace material and disposed in a middle of the hair-tied portion. The pre-tweezed portion is configured to provide a clear center part line, and the pre-tweezed portion has a predetermined width and a predetermined length. The hair-tied portion may have a plurality of hairs hand-tied, knotted, or planted.

Description

    BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • The present invention relates to a hairpiece with pre-tweezed parting.
  • Regular hand-tied hair parting looks very artificial in the hairpieces such as a lace front wig, full lace wig, wig, hair closure, and hair frontal piece.
  • Therefore, conventional hairpieces need to be improved for the satisfaction of the users of the hairpieces.
  • As shown in FIG. 1, the conventional hairpiece looks distinctively different from a real or real-looking parting, in which there are hairs planted evenly across a potential parting portion and as a result there is no clear portion of parting.
  • Accordingly, a need for a hairpiece with pre-tweezed parting.ng has been present for a long time considering the expansive demands in the everyday life. This invention is directed to solve these problems and satisfy the long-felt need.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • The present invention contrives to solve the disadvantages of the prior art.
  • An object of the invention is to provide a hairpiece with pre-tweezed parting.ng or parting.
  • An aspect of the invention provides a hairpiece comprising a lace material, a hair-tied portion, and a pre-tweezed portion.
  • The lace material has a mesh structure with a predetermined eye size and configured for anchoring hairs on an outer side of the mesh structure and enclosing a scalp portion of a user with an inner side of the mesh structure.
  • The hair-tied portion covers a substantial portion of the top side of the lace material.
  • The pre-tweezed portion covers a slit portion of the top side of the lace material and disposed in a middle of the hair-tied portion.
  • The pre-tweezed portion is configured to provide a clear center part line, and the pre-tweezed portion has a predetermined width and a predetermined length.

  • FIGS. 2-8 show hairpieces according to embodiments of the present invention, and FIGS. 9 and 10 show some of inventive features of the hairpiece according to the invention.
  • An object of the invention is to provide a hairpiece with pre-tweezed part or parting.
  • Even though the parting portion according to the invention is named and called ‘pre-tweezed’ portion, but it is just for the sake of naming, and does not limit how to make that portion. The pre-tweezed portion just represents the portion, in which almost no hair is tied or planted and therefore looking like a real parting. The pre-tweezed portion may be formed by not tiing or planting the hairs along an elongated portion in the middle portion of the hairpiece, otherwise planted or tied with pretty much hairs evenly.
  • As shown in FIG. 2, an aspect of the invention provides a hairpiece 100 comprising a lace material 10, a hair-tied portion 20, and a pre-tweezed portion 30.
  • The lace material 10 has a mesh structure with a predetermined eye size and configured for anchoring hairs on an outer side of the mesh structure and enclosing a scalp portion of a user with an inner side of the mesh structure as shown in FIGS. 6, 7, and 9.
  • The hair-tied portion 20 covers a substantial portion of the top side of the lace material 10.
  • The pre-tweezed portion 30 covers a slit portion of the top side of the lace material 10 and disposed in a middle of the hair-tied portion 20.
  • The pre-tweezed portion 30 is configured to provide a clear center part line, and the pre-tweezed portion 30 has a predetermined width (W) and a predetermined length (L) as shown in FIG. 8. In the illustrated embodiment, the length (L) and the width (W) are defined by general dimensions thereof, but in certain embodiments of the invention, the length may stand for the length of straight or curved slit portion, following the shape closely. Also, the width can be measured more clearly as shown in the middle portion of FIGS. 9 and 10.
  • The hair-tied portion 20 may have a plurality of hairs 80 hand-tied, knotted, or planted as shown in FIG. 9, for an example.
  • The plurality of hairs 80 may be provided on the top side of the lace material 10 with a predetermined density, number of hairs per unit area as shown in FIG. 10.
  • That is, as shown in FIG. 10, the density (D) of hairs may be a maximum (d1) in the hair-tied portion 20. And, the density (D) may be nearly zero in the pre-tweezed portion 30.
  • The predetermined density may decrease continuously from a first value (d1) at the vicinity between the hair-tied portion 20 and the pre-tweezed portion 30 to a second value
    Figure US20170290384A1-20171012-P00999
, which is zero in the illustrated embodiment, smaller than the first value (d1) at a portion of the pre-tweezed portion 30.
  • The hairpiece 100 may further comprise a pair of transition portions 40 provided on both sides of the pre-tweezed portion 30 and between the hair-tied portion 20 and the pre-tweezed portion 30, and the predetermined density changes from the first value to the second value over the transition portion 40 as discussed in the previous paragraph.
  • The width of the pre-tweezed portion 30 may be from about 2 mm to about 3 mm. In this case, the width is a width of the tight portion of the pre-tweezed portion 30.
  • Alternatively, the width between the pair of transition portions 40 including the pre-tweezed portion 30 in between may be from about 3 mm to about 6 mm. It takes any value between 3 mm and 6 mm.
  • The pre-tweezed portion 30 may be straight or curved, which can be determined according to the shape of the user's head or portion thereof.
  • The length of the pre-tweezed portion 30 may be predetermined according to the size groups thereof.
  • The pre-tweezed portion 30 may have a shape of zigzag defined by the varying of the predetermined density of hairs 80.
  • The hairpiece 100 may comprise wigs, hair closures, or hair frontal pieces. Also, the hairpiece 100 may further comprise a fixing pin 90 provided on the bottom side of the lace material 10, as shown in FIG. 8.
  • The hair density may follow a curve other than the illustrated linear function in FIG. 10. The density curve may fall more and more steeply over the transition portions 40 as going from the hair-tied portion 20 to the pre-tweezed portion 30. Alternately, the density curve may fall more and more slowly over the transition portions 40 as going from the hair-tied portion 20 to the pre-tweezed portion 30.
  • As discussed in the above, FIGS. 3 and 4 show just a method for manufacturing the hairpiece with pre-tweezed parting, for an example, for the purpose of showing how or where to remove or not plant hairs for the parting.
  • While the invention has been shown and described with reference to different embodiments thereof, it will be appreciated by those skilled in the art that variations in form, detail, compositions and operation may be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as defined by the accompanying claims.
