Description
- The present invention relates to a crossbow structure, and more particularly to a crossbow body and limb combining and fixing structure.
- In general, a conventional crossbow is formed by a body and a limb, and a stock is disposed at a rear end oformed by combining and fixing structure.y cting plate of a male base body in accordance with a preferred emboimen the body, and a trigger mechanism is installed on a side of the stock, and the limb is substantially in an arc shape and installed near a front end of the body and crossing the body to form a cross shape, and a bowstring is combined between both ends of the limb, such that when the crossbow is used, the bowstring is pulled backward, so that the bowstring is tense and latched with the trigger mechanism, and then an arrow is put on the body and attached to the stretched bowstring, and the trigger mechanism is pressed to shoot the arrow by the bowstring. However, the limb is installed and fixed to the body directly, so that a simple and easy installation or uninstallation cannot be achieved effectively, and it is inconvenient to transport and store such conventional crossbow and repair or replace the limb of the crossbow.
- Therefore, some manufacturers developed a crossbow limb combining and fixing structure comprising a

When thelatch 104 closes thepocket 102, ascrew member 105 is secured to limit thelimb 20 in thepocket 102; and when thelatch 104 opens thepocket 102, thelimb 20 may be installed into thepocket 102 or removed from thepocket 102, and thelimb 20 is substantially in an arc shape. - Although the conventional crossbow limb combining and fixing structure provides a simple and easy way of installing or uninstalling the
limb 20 and thebody 10 to overcome the drawbacks of the conventional crossbow including the inconvenient installation and uninstallation, transportation and storage, and repair and replacement of thelimb 20. However, when thelatch 104 closes thepocket 102, ascrew member 105 is secured directly, so that if thescrew member 105 is loosened or fallen off, thelimb 20 and thebody 10 may be separated. In addition, when thelimb 20 and thebody 10 are installed, it is necessary to accommodate thelimb 20 into thepocket 102 of thebody 10 and use thelatch 104 to pivotally close thepocket 102, and hold thelatch 104 by one hand and screw thescrew member 105 by the other hand. Obviously, such operation is very inconvenient to assemble and replace thelimb 20. - The present invention provides a crossbow limb combining and fixing structure comprising a body and a limb, characterized in that the body is long-rod shaped and extended along a front-and-rear direction and has a front end and a rear end, and a receiving slot is formed near the front end of the body, and a releasable fixing member is installed at the body and opposite to the receiving slot, and the fixing member is provided for fixing the limb to the body by clamping and forcing, and a slide is formed on a bottom side of the body and extended from the front end to the rear end and passing through the receiving slot, and the slide is slidably combined with a carriage, and the carriage is capable of slidably closing or opening the receiving slot, such that when the carriage opens the receiving slot, the limb may be installed into the receiving slot or removed from the receiving slot; and the limb is substantially in an arc shape, and a bowstring is combined between both ends of the limb.
- Therefore, it is a primary objective of the present invention to provide a slide formed on the carriage and slidably combined with the body, so that the carriage can be securely close the receiving slot, so as to prevent the limb and the body from being separated and improve the safety of use.
- Another objective of the present invention is to accommodate the limb into the receiving slot of the body when the limb and the body are installed, and to slide the carriage on the slide to close the receiving slot, and then use both hands to fix the carriage and the body, so as to provide a simple and easy way of installing and replacing the limb.
