Description

    TECHNICAL FIELD
  • The present invention relates to a hairdressing cape, which is used to cover the upper half of a wearer in the fields of haircutting and hairdressing, such as a cutting cape, a shampoo cape, a permanent cape, a coloring cape, an auxiliary cutting cape, a shoulder cape or the like, particularly, relates to a hairdressing cape and a fastening tool for protecting the clothing of a wearer and removing wearer's uncomfortable sensation.
  • BACKGROUND ART
  • In the past, this type of a hairdressing cape generally consists of a fabric, which is waterproofed or hair-repellant, having a tape-like cloth as a collar part which is sewed along the perimeter of an opening formed through an upper center of the fabric to put the wearer's neck therethrough with a fastening tool such as a touch fastener formed on both ends of the collar part (for example, refer to Patent Document 1).
  • The hairdressing cape described in Patent Document 1 is used to cover the body of a person from the above for cutting or washing hair with the collar part being fastened at its both ends by the fastening tool such as a touch fastener to fit the neck of the wearer in order to eliminate the gap around the neck.
  • PRIOR ART LITERATURE Patent Document
  • [Patent Document 1]
  • Japanese Patent Published Application No. Hei8-242942
  • SUMMARY OF INVENTION Problems to be Solved by the Invention
  • However, since the collar part of a usual cape is wound around a neck part simply from the outside as shown in Patent Document 1, the gap between the collar part and the neck cannot perfectly be eliminated so that the neck part of the wearer's clothing cannot perfectly be shielded. Because of this, for example, water may enter through the gap during washing or coloring hair to wet and dirty the wearer's clothing.
  • On the other hand, in order to perfectly shield the collar part of the wearer, the collar part must be covered with a cover made of a thick material which has a high water impervious or repellent property so that a neck part becomes tight and sweating to deteriorate a wear feeling and workability due to a cumbersome wearing operation.
  • Furthermore, the fastening tool of the conventional cape described in Patent Document 1 consists of a hook fastener having hook-like bristles and a loop fastener having loop-like bristles at the both ends of the collar part which are joined by overlaying these fasteners with each other.
  • However, there is a problem that, depending upon the length of the overlaying portions, the hook fastener may have a portion which is extending beyond the overlaying portions and coming in contact with the neck and lower jaw of the wearer to give a prickly or other uncomfortable sensation to the wearer by the hook-like bristles touching the wearer. Particularly, if perfectly shielding the collar part of the wearer, the touch fastener is pressed against the neck of the wearer to enhance the uncomfortable sensation with the bristles and further deteriorate a wear feeling.
  • In order to solve the problem as described above, it is an object of the present invention to provide a hairdressing cape which can improve workability by increasing the fastening force of a touch fastener and prevent wetting and soiling of a wearer's clothing, while avoiding increased discomfort due to a prickly or other uncomfortable sensation around the wearer's neck.
  • Means to Solve the Problems
  • In order to accomplish the object as described above, the present invention provides a hairdressing cape to be worn to cover a body including at least a neck and a shoulder of a wearer, comprising: a collar part which is a belt-like member to be wound around the neck of the wearer and having opposite ends to be engaged through an engagement section to overlap with each other in the form of a ring; a main cloth which is a fabric to be suspended from the collar part through the shoulder of the wearer; a collar guard part which is a flexible surface member to be suspended in the inside of the collar part along the longitudinal direction.
  • In accordance with the present invention as described above, since the collar guard part is suspended in the inside of the collar part which is wound around the neck of the wearer, the collar of the wearer can be covered between the main cloth and the collar guard part so that the collar of the wearer can easily be prevented from wetting and soiling. Also, the collar guard part can be installed only by inserting the collar guard part into the inside of the collar of the wearer so that the procedure is simple.
  • Also, the present invention provides a fastening tool to be wound around a neck of a wearer comprising: a belt part which is a belt-like member to be wound around the neck of the wearer and having opposite ends to be engaged through an engagement section to overlap with each other in the form of a ring, wherein the engagement section comprises: an outer engagement section which is a belt-like member arranged on the back side of one end of the belt part and consists of a male fastener part arranged in the outer side of the engagement section and a female fastener part arranged in the inner side of the engagement section; and an inner engagement section which is a belt-like member arranged on the front side of the other end of the belt part and consists of a male fastener part arranged in the outer side of the engagement section and a female fastener part arranged in the inner side of the engagement section, wherein the male fastener part is a touch fastener in which a number of hook-like bristles are densely provided, and the female fastener part is a touch fastener in which a number of loop-like bristles are densely provided.
  • Then, the fastening tool can be applied for a hairdressing cape. Namely, the hairdressing cape to be worn to cover a body including at least a neck and a shoulder of a wearer, comprises: a collar part which is a belt-like member to be wound around the neck of the wearer and having opposite ends to be engaged through an engagement section to overlap with each other in the form of a ring; and a main cloth which is a fabric to be suspended from the collar part through the shoulder of the wearer, the engagement section comprising: an outer engagement section which is a belt-like member arranged on the back side of one end of the collar part and consists of a male fastener part arranged in the outer side of the engagement section and a female fastener part arranged in the inner side of the engagement section; and an inner engagement section which is a belt-like member arranged on the front side of the other end of the collar part and consists of a male fastener part arranged in the outer side of the engagement section and a female fastener part arranged in the inner side of the engagement section, wherein the male fastener part is a touch fastener in which a number of hook-like bristles are densely provided, and the female fastener part is a touch fastener in which a number of loop-like bristles are densely provided.
  • In accordance with the fastening tool and the hairdressing cape described above, when wearing the cape, the cape is fastened by winding the collar part around the neck of the wearer and engaging the outer engagement section and the inner engagement section of the engagement section. In this case, the overlapping length between the outer engagement section and the inner engagement section can be adjusted to conform to the neck thickness of the wearer. The inner surface of the outer engagement section might extend beyond the overlapping portion depending upon the length of the overlapping portion to come in contact with the neck of the wearer. However, since the contacting portion of the outer engagement section is part of the female fastener parts in which a number of loop-like bristles are densely provided, a comfortable wearing touch can be realized without giving discomfort due to a prickly or other uncomfortable sensation with the hook-like bristles to the wearer.
  • In the case of the above invention, it is preferred that a flexible flat inner guard part is provided in the inner surface side of the engagement section at least corresponding to the overlapping portion. In this case, the portion having hook-like bristles can be covered from the inside by the flexible flat inner guard part, and therefore it is possible to surely avoid discomfort due to a prickly or other uncomfortable sensation with hook-like bristles.
  • In the case of the above invention, it is preferred to further provide a permanent magnet located in a predetermined position of the back side of the main cloth. In this case, a magnetic field of the permanent magnet can stimulate blood circulation and relieve stiff shoulders when wearing the cape of the present invention so that an added value can be given to wearing the hairdressing cape.
  • Effects of the Invention
  • As has been discussed above, the collar of the wearer can be covered with the collar guard part in between so that the collar of the wearer can easily be prevented from wetting and soiling, and the collar guard part can be installed only by inserting the collar guard part into the inside of the collar of the wearer so that the procedure is simple.
  • Furthermore, in accordance with the present invention, a comfortable wearing touch can be realized without giving discomfort due to a prickly or other uncomfortable sensation with the bristles to the wearer, even if the front or back surface of the collar guard part is extending beyond the overlapping portion to come in contact with the neck of the wearer when engaging the outer engagement section and the inner engagement section of the engagement section after winding the collar part around the neck of the wearer. Because of this, since the length extending beyond the overlapping portion need not be considered, the overlapping length (area) can be sufficiently secured, and therefore the fastening force is not lowered when wearing the cape.
  • As a result of this, in accordance with the present invention, it is possible to improve workability by increasing the fastening force of a touch fastener and prevent wetting and soiling of a wearer's clothing, while avoiding increased discomfort due to a prickly or other uncomfortable sensation around the wearer's neck.

FIGS. 1(a) and 1(b) are perspective views for showing the overall configuration of the cape in accordance with the present embodiment, and FIGS. 2(a) and 2(b) are front views for showing the overall configuration of the cape. Meanwhile, when wearing the cape as illustrated in FIG. 1 in the case of the present embodiment, the side externally facing is referred to as a front side, and the side internally facing to make contact with the wearer is referred to as a rear side.
  • In this description, while the present embodiment is explained with a shampoo cape for washing hair as a cape, the present invention is not limited thereto, but applicable to a variety of hairdressing capes for covering the upper half of a wearer when cutting, perming and coloring in the fields of haircutting and hairdressing, for example, a cutting cape, a shampoo cape, a permanent cape, a coloring cape, an auxiliary cutting cape, a shoulder cape, which is used in place of a towel, or the like.
  • As shown in FIG. 1, a cape 10 according to the present embodiment is a member covering over the clothing of a customer (person to be treated) who receives a hairdressing treatment and consisting of a main cloth 1 covering a human body, a collar part 2 wound around the neck part of the wearer, and a rear cloth part 5 and a collar guard part 4 to be arranged on the wearer's back.
  • The main cloth 1 is made of a single fiber such as rayon, PP, polyethylene, polyester, nylon or the like or a conjugate fiber consisting of rayon, PP, polyethylene, polyester, nylon or the like, in the form of a transparent or opaque sheet body which is water impervious or repellent with a surface thereof given a water-repelling treatment. As shown in FIG. 2, this main cloth 1 is a nearly square shape in an expanded form, and has a size covering a user from a shoulder to a back or an upper half. However, the size of the main cloth 1 according to the present invention can be changed depending upon the body shape of the wearer and the usage thereof such as cutting, perming and coloring. The shape of the main cloth 1 can be a rectangle, a circle, an oblong, an ellipse or the like.
  • In the case of the present embodiment, FIG. 2(a) shows a front side 1 a of the main cloth 1, and FIG. 2(b) shows a back side 1 b of the main cloth 1. A cut 1 c is formed at the center of the upper side of this cape 10 to separate the cape 10 to form a forked front side, and a circular opening 3 is formed on the bottom of the cut 1 c. The opening 3 has a larger diameter than the neck of the wearer, and the collar part 2 is made of a belt-like soft fabric having a sufficient length to be wound around the neck, and integrally or detachably provided on the opening 3 of this main cloth 1.
  • This collar part 2 is formed of a belt part 20 having a sufficient length to be wound around the neck and provided with a fastening tool 200 on a front side 20 a and a back side 20 b of the belt part 20 for fastening the belt part 20. FIG. 3(a) is a perspective view as seen from the front side of the collar part 2 which is provided with an improved touch fastener according to the present embodiment, and FIG. 3(b) is a perspective view as seen from the back side of the collar part 2. On the other hand, FIG. 4(a) is a perspective view for showing the position of an engagement section when the collar part 2 is wound around a neck, and FIG. 4(b) is a top view thereof.
  • The collar part 2 is provided with the fastening tool 200 to be wound around the neck of the wearer, and consists mainly of the belt part 20 to be wound around the neck of the wearer with the engagement section 200 a at which the opposite ends of the belt part 20 are overlapped and engaged so that the belt part 20 is in the form of a ring. Specifically speaking, the collar part 2 is formed mainly of the belt part 20 having a sufficient length to be wound around the neck of the wearer and provided with an outer engagement section 22 and an inner engagement section 21 on the front side 20 a and the back side 20 b of the belt part 20 for fastening the belt part 20 in the form of a ring.
  • The outer engagement section 22 is a belt-like member attached to the back side of one end portion of the belt part 20, and specifically consists of a male fastener part 22 a located in the outer end side of the engagement section 200 a and a female fastener part 22 b located in the inner side of the engagement section 200 a. On the other hand, the inner engagement section 21 is a belt-like member attached to the front side of the other end portion of the belt part 20, and specifically consists of a male fastener part 21 alocated in the outer end side of the engagement section 200 a and a female fastener part 21 b located in the inner side of the engagement section 200 a. These male fastener parts 22 a and 21 a are touch fasteners in which a number of hook-like bristles are densely provided, and the female fastener parts 22 b and 21 b are touch fasteners in which a number of loop-like bristles are densely provided.
  • Specifically, the inner engagement section 21 and the outer engagement section 22 are touch fasteners. The male fastener part 21 a of the inner engagement section 21 is sewed with the front side 20 a of the belt part 20 at the end portion of the belt part 20, and the female fastener part 21 b is sewed with the front side 20 a of the belt part 20 adjacent to the male fastener part 21 a. On the other hand, the male fastener part 22 a of the outer engagement section 22 is sewed with the back side 20 b of the belt part 20, and the female fastener part 22 b is sewed in a position adjacent to the male fastener part 22 a.
  • In the case of the present embodiment, each of the inner engagement section 21 and the outer engagement section 22 has a length of about ⅓ of the length of the belt part 20, and when the belt part 20 is wound around a neck as illustrated in FIGS. 2(a) and 2(b), the inner engagement section 21 and the outer engagement section 22 occupy a half or more of the perimeter of the belt part 20. In addition, the lengths of the female fastener parts 21 b and 22 b and the male fastener parts 21 a and 22 are set up such that the male fastener parts 21 a and 22 a are shorter than the female fastener parts 21 b and 22 b respectively in order that, when these touch fasteners are engaged, the male fastener parts 21 a and 22 a are not extending beyond the female fastener parts 21 b and 22 b.
  • By this configuration, as illustrated in FIG. 1 and FIG. 2, the inner engagement section 21 and the outer engagement section 22 are engaged with each other by winding the belt part 20 around the neck of the wearer to form an overlapping portion of the front side 20 a and the back side 20 b of the belt part 20 in accordance with the neck thickness of the wearer. Specifically, the male fastener part 21 a and the female fastener part 21 b of the inner engagement section 21 are engaged by overlapping, and the male fastener part 22 a the female fastener part 22 b of the outer engagement section 22 are engaged by overlapping.
  • In the case of the present embodiment, since the inner engagement section 21 and the outer engagement section 22 are engaged by the touch fasteners at the opposite two ends where the belt part 20 is overlapping as illustrated in FIG. 2, the cape 10 can be prevented from being detached from the neck of the wearer by increasing the overlapping area of the touch fasteners. Meanwhile, the inner diameter of the collar part 2 can be adjusted in accordance with the physique of the wearer by adjusting the engagement position between the inner engagement section 21 and the outer engagement section 22. Incidentally, even in this case, since the male fastener parts 21 a and 22 a are shorter than the female fastener parts 21 b and 22 b, the male fastener parts 21 a and 22 a are prevented from extending beyond the female fastener parts 21 b and 22 b to come in contact with the neck of the wearer when overlapping the touch fasteners.
  • Furthermore, in the case of the present embodiment, a flexible flat inner guard part 23 is provided in the inner surface side of the engagement section 200 a at least corresponding to the overlapping portion between the outer engagement section 22 and the inner engagement section 21. Specifically describing, the inner guard part 23 is attached to the back side 20 b of the belt part 20 in the width direction of the female fastener part 21 b and the male fastener part 21 a formed on the front side 20 a. By this inner guard part 23 attached to the back side, as illustrated in FIG. 3(b), the fastener surfaces of the inner engagement section 21 and the outer engagement section 22 is prevented from coming in contact with the neck of the wearer without giving discomfort to the wearer.
  • Incidentally, as illustrated in FIG. 1, handle parts 25 and 26 having predetermined lengths are formed to extend outward from the both ends of the belt part 20. Since this handle parts 25 and 26 are formed, it becomes easy to perform attachment and detachment operations of the collar part 2 with this handle parts 25 and 26.
  • When the cape 10 is attached to the neck of the wearer through this collar part 2 with the inner engagement section 21 and the outer engagement section 22, there are portions of the main cloth 1 overlapping with each other in accordance with the overlapping portions of the belt part 20 so that the wearer can be covered without a gap.
  • The cape 10 is provided also with the rear cloth part 5 and the collar guard part 4 sewed with the collar part 2 in the opposite side to the side where the cut 1 c is formed. specifically, the rear cloth part 5 is a member covering the rear of the neck and along the nape of the neck and suspended in a basin of a washstand. The rear cloth part 5 is formed on the front side 1 a of the main cloth 1. The rear cloth part 5 of the present embodiment is sewed along the perimeter of the collar part 2 with a free edge opposite the sewed edge.
  • On the other hand, the collar guard part 4 is a flexible surface member which is suspended in the inside of the collar part 2 along the longitudinal direction, and arranged to cover the collar of the clothing of the wearer when wearing the cape 10. This collar guard part 4 is located in the back side 1 b of the main cloth 1, and inserted to the inside of the collar of the wearer in the rear side of the neck of the wearer when wearing the cape as shown writ large in FIG. 5. Also, as shown in FIG. 6, this collar guard part 4 has one side 41 which is sewed along the perimeter of the collar part 2, and the opposite side to the sewed side as a free end 42. By this configuration of the collar guard part 4, as shown in FIG. 6, the free end 42 is inserted between the neck of the wearer and the collar 9 of the clothing to cover the collar 9.
  • Then, in accordance with the present embodiment, the cape 10 is wound around the neck of the wearer from the back with the cut 1 c of the main cloth 1 being opened, and fastened by overlapping the touch fasteners of the inner engagement section 21 and the outer engagement section 22 in accordance with the neck thickness of the wearer, for example, when the cape 10 is used for washing hair in a beauty salon, a barber shop or the like. The free end 42 of the collar guard part 4 is then inserted between the neck of the wearer and the collar 9 of the clothing to cover the collar 9. When washing hair, the rear cloth part 5 is suspended in a basin of a washstand to cover the rear of the neck and along the nape of the neck so that water is prevented from entering into the neck.
  • (Actions/Effects)
  • As has been discussed above, in accordance with the present embodiment, since the collar guard part 4 is suspended in the inside of the collar part 2 which is wound around the neck of the wearer, the collar of the wearer can be covered between the main cloth 1 and the collar guard part 4 so that the collar of the wearer can easily be prevented from wetting and soiling. Also, the collar guard part 4 can be installed only by inserting the collar guard part 4 into the inside of the collar of the wearer so that the procedure is simple.
  • Furthermore, when wearing the cape 10 in the case of the present embodiment, the cape 10 is fastened by winding the collar part 2 around the neck of the wearer and engaging the outer engagement section 22 and the inner engagement section 21 of the engagement section 200 a. In this case, the overlapping length between the outer engagement section 22 and the inner engagement section 21 can be adjusted to conform to the neck thickness of the wearer. The inner surface of the outer engagement section might extend beyond the overlapping portion depending upon the length of the overlapping portion to come in contact with the neck of the wearer. However, since the contacting portion of the outer engagement section is part of the female fastener parts 21 b and 22 b in which a number of loop-like bristles are densely provided, a comfortable wearing touch can be realized without giving discomfort due to a prickly or other uncomfortable sensation with the bristles to the wearer.
  • Also, in accordance with the cape 10 of the present embodiment, uncomfortable sensation is not given to the wearer due to hook-like bristles even if the front or back surface of the collar guard part is extending beyond the overlapping portion to come in contact with the neck of the wearer when engaging the outer engagement section 22 and the inner engagement section 21, so that the overlapping length (area) can be sufficiently secured without considering the length extending beyond the overlapping portion, and therefore the fastening force can be increased when wearing the cape 10. Since the fastening force can be increased when wearing the cape 10, for example, it is possible to fasten the cape 10 in a front side of the wearer by winding the cape 10 from the back of the wearer to the front side.
  • (Modification Example)
  • Incidentally, the above explained embodiment shows only an example of the present invention. Because of this, the present invention is not limited to the above embodiment, and various modifications and combinations of the respective components are possible in accordance with the design and so forth without departing from the spirit of the invention.
  • For example, while the cape 10 is designed as a cutting cape for use in cutting hair, the main cloth 1 may be provided with sleeve parts through which the arms of the wearer are passed.
  • Also, while the cape 10 is fastened in a front side by winding the cape 10 from the back of the wearer to the front side in the case of the above embodiment, the present invention is not limited thereto but applicable to a cape 30 which is fastened in a back side by winding the cape 30 from the front of the wearer to the back side as illustrated in FIG. 7. In this case, as illustrated in FIG. 7, a collar guard part 34 is provided near the cut 1 c for opening and closing, and an inner guard part 33 is arranged in a position corresponding to the jaw of the wearer. Meanwhile, this cape 30 consists of a main cloth 31 which is circular.
  • Then, the cape 30 is thereby wound around the neck of the wearer from the front with the cut 1 c of the main cloth 31 being opened, and fastened by overlapping the touch fasteners of the inner engagement section 21 and the outer engagement section 22 in accordance with the neck thickness of the wearer when the cape 30 is used for cutting, shampooing, perming or coloring in a beauty salon, a barber shop or the like. By this configuration, the inner guard part 33 is provided for the jaw of the wearer. The free end 42 of the collar guard part 34 is inserted between the neck of the wearer and the collar 9 of the clothing to cover the collar 9.
  • Also, the cape 10 as described above may be provided with a permanent magnet located, for example, in predetermined positions of the back side of the main cloth. In this case, a magnetic field of the permanent magnet can stimulate blood circulation and relieve stiff shoulders when wearing the cape of the present invention so that an added value can be given to wearing the hairdressing cape.
