Abstract
Trousers with a crotch closure/opening structure includes a trouser body having a front side and a rear side. A zipper is mounted to the front side of the trouser body. The zipper extends downwards from a top end of the front side of the trouser body, extends rearwards through a crotch of the trouser body, and extends upwards to a location of the rear side corresponding to hips of a human body. A female wearer using a toilet can simply open the zipper to the hip position, opening the front side, the crotch, and the rear side of the trouser body and significantly increasing use convenience for the female wearer using the toilet.
Description
- The present invention relates to trousers and, more particularly, to trousers with a crotch closure/opening structure.
- Trousers are a general term for clothing worn on two legs below the waist of a human body. Trousers include long trousers and short trousers according to the length, include men's trousers and women's trousers according to design, and include sports trousers, sleeping trousers, and underwear trousers according to use.
- Trousers can include an elastic waistband to permit easy wearing and taking off. For trousers (such as jeans and dress pants) without the elastic waistband or lack of flexibility, a zipper is provided on a front side of the trousers, such that a male user can simply open the zipper for urination without taking off the trousers. However, since the length of the zipper merely extends along the front side and due to the female physical structure, a female wearing trousers has to pull down the trousers to her thighs when using a toilet.
-
FIG. 4 shows a urinal 2 disclosed in U.S. Ser. No. 14/940,332 filed Nov. 13, 2015 (Taiwan Utility Model No. M493963) filed by Applicant. A female user can use the urinal 2 in a standing or semi-squatting position. However, a female user wearing trousers still has to pull down her trousers to her thighs, which is still inconvenient to the female user whose trousers are on the thighs while she is standing or semi-squatting for urination. - Thus, a need exists for novel trousers permitting female wearers to conveniently use a toilet in a standing, squatting, or semi-squatting position.
- Trousers with a crotch closure/opening structure according to the present invention includes a trouser body having a front side and a rear side. A zipper is mounted to the front side of the trouser body. The zipper extends downwards from a top end of the front side of the trouser body, extends rearwards through a crotch of the trouser body, and extends upwards to a location of the rear side corresponding to hips of a human body.
- The zipper extending from the top end of the front side through the hip portion permits a female wearer using a toilet to open the front side, the crotch, and the rear side of the trouser body by simply opening the zipper without taking off the trousers. The trousers according to the present invention also permits a female wearer to use a standing urinal or a squatting urinal. The female wearer can simply stand or squat above the urinal. and can simply open the zipper to urinate in the standing or semi-squatting position without pulling down the trousers, significantly increasing use convenience for the female wearer using the toilet.
- The present invention will become clearer in light of the following detailed description of illustrative embodiments of this invention described in connection with the drawings.
-
FIG. 1 is a perspective view of trousers with a crotch closure/opening structure according to the present invention, with a zipper of the crotch closure/opening structure in a closed state. -
FIG. 2 is a perspective view of the trousers ofFIG. 1 with the zipper in an open state. -
FIG. 3 is a schematic perspective view illustrating use of a urinal by a user wearing the trousers according to the present invention. -
FIG. 4 is a perspective view of the urinal ofFIG. 3 . -
FIG. 5 is a perspective view of another urinal. -
FIG. 6 is a schematic view illustrating use of the urinal ofFIG. 5 by a user wearing the trousers according to the present invention. - With reference to
FIGS. 1 and 2 , a trousers with a crotch closure/opening structure according to the present invention includes a trouser body 1 having a front side. A zipper 1 mounted to the front side of the trouser body 1. The trouser body 1 can be jeans, dress pants, leisure trousers, overalls, or short trousers. The trouser body 1 can be easily worn and taken off by the opening and closure of thezipper 10. A male user wearing the trouser body 1 can easily urinate by opening thezipper 10 without taking off the trouser body 1. - The features of the present invention are that the
zipper 10 extends downwards from a top end of the front side of the trouser body 1, extends rearwards through a crotch of the trouser body 1, and extends upwards to a location of a rear side of the trouser body 1 corresponding to hips of a human body. Thus, the front side, the crotch, and the lower portion of the rear side of the trouser body 1 can be opened by opening thezipper 10, as shown inFIG. 2 . - With reference to
FIGS. 3 and 4 , thezipper 10 extending from the top end of the front side through the hip portion permits a female wearer to simply open thezipper 10 while using a toilet. The front side, the crotch, and the rear side of the trouser body 1 can be opened without taking off the trousers 1, which is extremely convenient to the female wearer using the toilet. The trousers according to the present invention also permits a female wearer to use a urinal 2 shown inFIGS. 3 and 4 . An example of theurinal 2 is disclosed in U.S. Ser. No. 14/940,332 filed Nov. 13, 2015 (Taiwan Utility Model No. M493963) filed by Applicant. A female wearer can simply stand or squat above the urinal 2 with both of her legs on opposite sides of theurinal 2. Then, the female wearer can simply open thezipper 10 to urinate in the standing or semi-squatting position without pulling down the trousers, providing convenient use. - The trousers according to the present invention also permits a female wearer to use a urinal 2 shown in
FIGS. 5 and 6 . An example of theurinal 2 is disclosed in U.S. Ser. 14/940,332 filed Nov. 13, 2015 (China Patent Application No. 201520881072.1) filed by Applicant. Similarly, a female wearer can simply stand or squat above the urinal 2 with both of her legs on opposite sides of theurinal 2. Then, the female wearer can simply open thezipper 10 to urinate in the standing or semi-squatting position without pulling down the trousers, providing convenient use. - Thus, a female wearer suffering from injured knees or degenerative knee joint diseases can use the toilet in a standing or semi-squatting position without having the knees. Due to the orientation of the female urethral orifice, the trousers according to the present invention is particularly useful to female users using a urinal 2 of the type shown in
FIGS. 4 and 5 . - Furthermore, a wearer using a sitting toilet can simply open the
zipper 10 without pulling down the trousers, avoiding the contact between the hips of the wearer and the toilet seat to keep the skin in a sanitary condition and avoiding the uncomfortable feeling of sitting on a cold toilet seat in winter. - Although specific embodiments have been illustrated and described, numerous modifications and variations are still possible without departing from the scope of the invention. The scope of the invention is limited by the accompanying claims.
