  • DE 10 2004 029 017 B4 has disclosed a combination garment that includes a long-sleeved outer garment; at least one sleeve of the outer garment has a lateral opening that is spaced apart from the end of the sleeve and a glove is fastened in captive fashion to the end of the sleeve; the glove has an inner cuff on which the fastening element is mounted and the sleeve has an inner cuff on which a fastening element is mounted.
  • Other gloves and/or jackets are described in the documents GB 203,220 A, GB 105,214 A, and US 24218481.
  • In the prior art as a whole, a multitude of attempts have already been made to attach the sleeves of clothing to gloves, particularly in a fluid-tight fashion; all of the above-mentioned proposals have in common the fact that they each require very special coupling means, particularly on the jacket, thus on the one hand hindering a quick and uncomplicated coupling and on the other, requiring the various garments to be especially designed for each other.
  • BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • The object of the invention is to produce a glove, which can be coupled simply and quickly to outer garments, without the outer garments having to be especially designed for this purpose.
  • The object is attained with a glove having the features of claim 1.
  • Advantageous modifications are disclosed in the dependent claims.
  • Another object of the invention is to produce a garment system composed of an upper garment and the glove, which enables a simple coupling of the glove to the outer garment.
  • The object is attained with a garment system having the features of claim 7.
  • Advantageous modifications are disclosed in the dependent claims that depend on the independent claims.
  • The inventor has realized that for the usual applications such as skiing, snowboarding, or sailing, it is entirely sufficient if a glove is affixed to the outer garment so that the glove and outer garment are situated in overlapping fashion in at least a certain area.
  • According to the invention, it is not necessary for the outer garment to be especially designed for the glove; instead, the fastening is produced using existing means on outer garments, particularly those garments that are intended for athletic purposes.
  • Usually, athletic wear, particularly skiwear and snowboarding wear on the one hand, but also sailing wear on the other, in the forearm region in the vicinity of the wrist, is equipped with means for changing the sleeve width in this region, in particular for reducing its size. Usually, hook-and-loop fasteners or snap fasteners are used for this purpose.
  • In these hook-and-loop fasteners or snap fasteners, generally one closure partner is situated on a tab attached to the sleeve and one closure partner is situated on the sleeve itself so that depending on the position of the tab relative to its closure partner, the sleeve is tightened by forming a fold. With snap fasteners, these can thus be comprised of a plurality of snaps distributed around the circumference; with hook-and-loop fasteners, first hook-and-loop partners can be distributed at least partially around the circumference, while the second hook-and-loop partners can be embodied on the tab and in this case, can be embodied as relatively smaller in comparison to those on the sleeve.
  • According to the invention, a corresponding glove has a tab, which is provided on the outside of the glove and on one side, has a closure partner for the closure provided on the circumference of the sleeve and on the other side, has the closure partner for the closure provided on the tab of the sleeve.
  • In this way, the glove can be immobilized and fastened with its tab between the adjusting tab of the sleeve and the closure partner of the sleeve circumference. In this regard, according to the invention, it is only necessary to adapt a glove tab to the jacket type, which is significantly easier than to design both parts for each other.
  • In this connection, hook-and-loop fasteners and snap fasteners are merely examples. In entirely general terms, the invention is thus comprised of providing a tab on a glove, which can be placed between the “negative” and “positive” closure means of a sleeve width adjustment; with a predetermined closure device (positive or negative) on the sleeve, the underside of the tab has the corresponding closure device (negative or positive) and in accordance with a closure device (negative or positive) on the underside of the sleeve adjusting tab, has the appropriately corresponding closure device (positive or negative).
  • The tab on the glove in this case protrudes out axially relative to the longitudinal length of an arm or extends axially relative to the outer garment.
  • In the example of a hook-and-loop fastener, the sleeve has a fleece or velour band extending around it and the sleeve-adjusting tab has the corresponding hook band oriented toward the velour band.
  • The glove according to the invention correspondingly has a tab that has a hook band oriented toward the fleece or velour band of the sleeve and (on the top side) oriented toward the sleeve-adjusting tab, has a fleece or velour band or vice versa, depending on the arrangement.
  • Independent of the tab, a sleeve gaiter of the glove can preferably protrude into the sleeve of the upper garment in order to ensure the production of an overlap.
  • In the same way, the sleeve gaiter of the glove can also overlap over the open sleeve end; in this case, the sleeve closure has to be shifted largely upward away from the sleeve opening and the tab on the glove has to protrude (axially) beyond the glove opening in order to permit a fastening to occur.
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

  • FIG. 1: is a schematic sectional depiction of a glove and a sleeve, with a fastening tab of the glove between the fastening means on a sleeve;
  • FIG. 2: shows the arrangement according to FIG. 1 in a perpendicular section along the line A-A in FIG. 1;

  • FIG. 4: is a schematic sectional depiction of a glove and a sleeve, with a fastening tab between the fastening means on a sleeve and a glove;
  • FIG. 5: is a top view of a glove;
  • FIG. 6: is a schematic second top view of the positioning of the tab of the glove on a sleeve.
  • FIG. 7: is a schematic side view of a glove and fastening tab;
  • FIG. 8: is a schematic view of an outer garment including a sleeve and fastening means;
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
  • A glove 1 according to the invention has a fastening tab 2, which is embodied so that it protrudes up from the material of the glove and in particular, is attached to the glove with a seam, a weld, or in some other way. The tab 2 has connecting means 3, 4, on opposing sides, which permit the tab 2 to correspond to corresponding connecting means 5, 6 of an outer garment 7. In particular, the tab 2 corresponds to a mechanism for tightening a sleeve section 8 of the outer garment 7.
  • To this end, the fastening means 5, 6 are situated on the forearm part 8 of the outer garment 7; the fastening means 6 is situated on a tab 9, which is fastened with one end 10 to the sleeve 8, while a free end 11 extends in the circumference direction of the sleeve 8.
  • The tab 2 of the glove 1 extends in an essentially axial direction relative to the sleeve so that when the glove is being worn, the tab 2 protrudes into the region between the fastening means 5 and 6 and the corresponding fastening means 3, 5 and 4, 6 can be attached to each other, thus affixing the glove with the tab 2 between the tab 9 and the fastening means 5 or the sleeve 8 on the outer garment.
  • The fastening means 5, 3; 4, 6 in this case can be corresponding hook-and-loop fastener components, i.e. a hook band and a fleece band, but a design with snaps (FIG. 3) is also conceivable; a snap part is embodied on the tab 2, which is embodied as an upper snap part (positive) oriented toward the sleeve 8 and is embodied as a lower snap part (negative) oriented toward the tab 9 and in this respect, differs from conventional snaps.
  • Naturally, zipper parts or halves are also conceivable in which corresponding zipper sections are provided on the respective tabs 2, 9 and on the sleeve 8.
  • The invention has the advantage that an already existing outer garment does not have to be especially designed for a glove; instead, the glove can be offered with a corresponding closure design on the tab 2 as an accessory to an existing outer garment.
  • If the tab 2 is embodied so that it can be detachably fastened to the glove, it is advantageous that with existing garments, the glove can be adapted even more easily and flexibly to the outer garment. In this connection, it is only necessary to produce and offer one basic glove type, which is then offered with the appropriate separate tab. The tab in this case can be positioned on the glove with an extra fastening means.
  • In this case, according to the invention, the tab 2 thus has corresponding closure means at both ends, one for the arm width adjustment and one for the glove width adjustment (FIG. 4). With a closure device (positive or negative) on the sleeve 5 predetermined by the outer garment 7, the underside of the tab 2 is correspondingly embodied for placement in this region, with a closure device 3 (negative or positive) and correspondingly, a closure device 6 (negative or positive) is embodied on the underside of the sleeve-adjusting tab 9 and the appropriate corresponding closure device 5 (positive or negative) is embodied on the tab 2. In addition, the tab 2 in this case—in order to be placed between the “negative” and “positive” closure means 14, 15 on the glove width adjustment—has a closure device 16 (positive or negative) on the underside of the tab, which corresponds to the closure device (negative or positive) on the glove 1. Correspondingly, the underside of the glove width adjusting tab has a closure device 15 (negative or positive) and the tab has a corresponding closure device 17 (positive or negative) on its top side.
  • The scope of the invention also includes separate closure tabs, which cooperate with a sleeve width adjustment on the one side and with the glove width adjustment on the other side.
  • In this case, the invention is not locally tied to either the glove or the outer garment, in other words, it does not have to be located in the region of the back of the hand or the top side of the wrist, but can be freely selected to be anywhere on the circumference.
