Description
- 1. Field of the Invention
- The present invention relates to a fan structure, and more particularly to a ceiling fan structure with detachable DC controller.
- 2. Description of the Prior Art
- Referring to
FIGS. 2-3 , a first conventional ceiling fan structure comprises acanopy 91, apower module 96, adownrod 93, amotor 94, a suspendingcase 95 and a plurality of blades. Thecanopy 91 has amounting bracket 92 assembled therein. Themounting bracket 92 is configured to fix thecanopy 91 to a ceiling (as shown inFIG. 3 ). Thedownrod 93 is fixed to themounting bracket 92 at a top end thereof. A bottom end of thedownrod 93 passes through thecanopy 91 and vertically downward extends. Themotor 94 is assembled to the bottom end of thedownrod 93. Themotor 94 has a shaft. The shaft is configured to be driven to rotate. The blades are fixed around the shaft. The blades are rotated by the rotation of the shaft. The suspendingcase 95 encloses themotor 94. Thepower module 96 is assembled in the suspendingcase 95 as themotor 94 and is directly connected to themotor 94. Thepower module 96 has apower supply 961 and aDC controller 962 which is adjacent to each other. However, because theDC controller 962 is assembled in the suspending case, when the user wants to replace theDC controller 962, the user must remove the suspendingcase 95 as a whole, so as to expose theDC controller 962. Therefore, the arrangement of the first conventional ceiling fan structure has the replacement inconvenient. - There is a second conventional ceiling fan structure as shown in
FIG. 3 . Only the difference between the second conventional ceiling fan structure and the first conventional ceiling fan structure is described herein. Thepower module 96 is assembled in thecanopy 91. A plurality ofwires 97 from thepower supply 961 and theDC controller 962 passes through thedownrod 93 and is electrically connected to themotor 94. When the user wants to replace theDC controller 962, the user just removes thecanopy 91. On this way, it is more convenient than the replacement for the first conventional ceiling fan structure. However, because thepower module 96 as a whole is assembled in thecanopy 91, thewires 97 all pass though thedownrod 93. Therefore, the inner diameter of thedownrod 93 must fit thewires 97 form thepower supply 961 and theDC controller 962; in other words, thedownrod 93 would be stout. Furthermore, the arrangement in thedownrod 93 would be complicated. - The present invention is, therefore, arisen to obviate or at least mitigate the above mentioned disadvantages.
- An object of the present invention is to provide a ceiling fan structure with detachable DC controller, wherein the user can replace the DC controller conveniently and the arrangement in a downrod of the fan structure could be simplified.
- To achieve the above and other objects, a ceiling fan structure comprises a canopy having a mounting bracket assembled therein, the mounting bracket configured to fix the canopy to a ceiling, a filter device assembled in the canopy, a downrod fixed to the mounting bracket at a top end thereof, a bottom end of the downrod passing through the canopy and vertically downward extending, a motor assembled to the bottom end of the downrod, the motor having a shaft configured to be driven to rotate, a suspending case enclosing the motor, a DC controller assembled on the suspending case and having a switching circuit and a plurality of signal wires, each signal wire passing though the suspending case and electrically connected to the motor, the filter device having a plurality of power wires, each power wire passing through the downrod and electrically connected to the switching circuit of the DC controller a plurality of blades fixed around the shaft and the blades rotated by the rotation of the shaft. Wherein, the suspending case has a lid detachably assembled thereon, the lid covering the DC controller.
- The present invention will become more obvious from the following description when taken in connection with the accompanying drawings, which show, for purpose of illustrations only, the preferred embodiment(s) in accordance with the present invention.
-
FIG. 1 is a cross-sectional view of one embodiment of the present invention; -
FIG. 2 is a cross-sectional view of one conventional ceiling fan structure in which a DC controller is assembled in a suspending case; and -
FIG. 3 is a cross-sectional view of another conventional ceiling fan structure in which a DC controller is assembled in a canopy. - Referring to
FIG. 1 , one embodiment in accordance with the present invention is described as follows. A ceiling fan structure comprises a canopy 1, a filter device 2, adownrod 3, amotor 4, a suspendingcase 5, a DC controller 6 and a plurality of blades 7. - Referring to
FIG. 1 , the canopy 1 has a mounting bracket 11 assembled therein. The mounting bracket 11 is configured to fix the canopy 1 to a ceiling. The filter device 2 is assembled in the canopy 1. The filter device 2 can also be illustrated as an electric filter which filters noise of alternating current so as to have the current wavy curve smooth and prevent the current wavy curve form being bumpy. - Referring to
FIG. 1 , thedownrod 3 is fixed to the mounting bracket 11 at a top end thereof. A bottom end of thedownrod 3 passes through the canopy 1 and vertically downward extends. Themotor 4 is assembled to the bottom end of thedownrod 3. Themotor 4 has ashaft 41. Theshaft 41 is configured to be driven to rotate. The blades 7 are fixed around theshaft 41. The blades 7 are rotated by the rotation of theshaft 41. The suspendingcase 5 encloses themotor 4. - Referring to
FIG. 1 , the DC controller 6 is assembled on the suspendingcase 5. The DC controller 6 has aswitching circuit 61 and a plurality ofsignal wires 62. Eachsignal wire 62 passes though the suspendingcase 5 and is electrically connected to themotor 4. The filter device 2 has a plurality ofpower wires 21. Eachpower wire 21 passes through thedownrod 3 and is electrically connected to theswitching circuit 61 of the DC controller 6. The suspendingcase 5 has alid 51 detachably assembled thereon. Thelid 51 covers the DC controller 6. - All in all, the embodiment of the present invention has several advantages as follows:
- First, because the DC controller 6 is assembled on the suspending
case 5, when the user wants to replace the DC controller 6, the user just removes thelid 51 so as to expose the DC controller 6. Therefore, the embodiment of the present invention has the replacement easier than the prior art. - Second, in another embodiment, the
lid 51 might be unnecessary so as to have the DC controller 6 exposed. However, thelid 51 could not only protect the DC controller 6 from exposure, but also have the whole ceiling fan structure artistic. - Third, because the DC controller 6 is assembled on the suspending
case 5 and is very close to themotor 4, the operation to replace thesignal wires 62 between the DC controller 6 and themotor 4 is easier than the prior art. In addition, because the DC controller 6 is not assembled in the canopy 1 as the filter device 2, thesignal wires 62 don't pass though thedownrod 3 as thepower wires 21. On this way, the inner diameter of thedownrod 3 just has to fit thepower wires 21; in other words, thedownrod 3 could be slimmer than the prior art. Furthermore, the arrangement in thedownrod 3 could be simplified. - Although particular embodiments of the invention have been described in detail for purposes of illustration, various modifications and enhancements may be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention. Accordingly, the invention is not to be limited except as by the appended claims.
